Aside from the occasional MW post, I don't recall seeing a whole lot of people trying to do gaming nights, although...I wouldn't mind joining up with one if it started. Suck at MW, but I'm down for Halo or dare I say Perfect Dark.
 
FIL, shit the bed yesterday. He thought he was going to do me a favor and not say anything until the CNA arrived, 5 hours later. As if her arriving and finding him sitting in his own filth for half a day would be better and not get me reported for elder abuse or something. Of course this is after he stopped up the toilet with half a roll of TP the day before.

I guess being physically incapable of smelling, he didn't realize he made the whole house reek of shit. Good times.

The original MW was pretty active, I feel, but maybe it's rose colored glasses.
 
I roasted some chestnuts this morning after my run. While tasty, it was rather difficult to peel them. The outer shell was easy, but the inner skin (or whatever it is) was a PITA to remove.

You' guys have actually gone through a whole page or so since I last checked 24 hours ago. That's pretty good for an OTT.

I keep telling myself I need to set the DVR for Community. What I saw of it I somewhat liked. I'm glad 30 Rock is back. I'll get around to watching that some day.

Just can't seem to watch anything but kids shows when the kids are up. And once they're asleep I feel compelled to play/finish games.

It was the episode where Pierce joins Vaughn's band that made it a favorite show for me, though my favorite episode so far is the white Abed episode. The Troy/Abed skits at the end are also great.

I don't think so, I think they have to be logged into your account, I'm not sure though.

I'm selling my Xbox 360 since they announced the new one for 2013. Might as well get rid of it while it still has value.

Isn't this the same as gamesharing? I thought you could still do it with 2 ps3s?

Yes. So long as you don't deactivate your account on there. Make sure your password isn't saved so he can't log in to your account.
 
Does anyone here have an Asus Transformer Prime? I have been looking into getting a laptop or a tablet, and it looks like that could easily fit both bills. The only problem seems to be that I can't find the keyboard dock for the Prime anywhere...

I wish I was rich just so I didn't have the problem of dwindling monetary funds. That's a big issue for poor people, not having any money. I would love to avoid that.
 
All this talk about selling off DVDs is making me think I should go through what I have and sell whatever I can while they still have some value. I never ended up with a very large collection (which is good), but I can't help but look at my shelf and see some titles that, in retrospect, weren't worth the money spent on them.

Two I have, last I checked, are worth $90 each. Out of print, rare and unlikely to be rereleased.

Which ones specifically? I've been trying to track down some of the OOP ones at my local Half Price shops but some are elusive as fuck all.

Speaking of Criterion though, one of the aforementioned shops has a few dozen Criterion laserdiscs for ~$10 a piece. Oh how I wish I had a laserdisc player.
