The PSP launched in America at 250 bones in a "entertainment pack" which came with a few cheap accessories. It wasn't till much later that they released the "core" console at 200. When the 2000 series came out, the core price became 169.99, and the packs were 199.99. So yes, Sony would charge 200 bucks for a hand held system.
 
well the 3000 had a $169 price tag and $199 with the bundle, so I dunno. Probably why the original didn't sell as well.
 
meh, I did read that the estimated price of the add-on storage tacks on like "$70-$80" so yeah and being it that it's Sony, $239.99 here we come!

Oh, I have no idea. I just went back to playing it after a while and had forgotten how fun it is.

When I first saw it I didn't think much of it, thought it would be a Prototype/Crackdown clone that looked lame, I feel so bad for not thinking twice.

I probably can't read the news until 3pm though. :(

EDIT: I was gonna say f that to a new Guitar Hero but I'm buying it day 1 for A Perfect Circle, Sublime, and Tom Petty.

What site is everyone watching the conference on? I've got IGN's stream, but if there's a better quality one, I'd rather watch that.

Oh yeah, I guess G4 would also have it. But I'm pretty sure they interrupted with commercials last year, and I'd imagine they would do that this year.

I hope the APC song is from Mer de Noms. I wouldn't mind having a good portion of that album as RB DLC.
