One of the girls on the Chinese diving team is pretty cute.
Which one?

Ah screw it, I can't tell them apart.
Ooo swimming underwater for distance would be a kickass event. They need to hire me as a consultant.
Hell yes, I would watch that.
Okay the race walk and the steeplechase is a bit contrived but the others are just running as fast as you can for different distances and the hurdles. Swimming should have events in wave pools as their answer to the hurdles.
Underwater hurdles.
Get the fuck out of here, Brown.

Ah, I got an even better one. Diving from 100 feet into shallow water. Water is let out of the tub between each round of dives until one final winner is left standing.
Which one?

Would it help if I gave you her name?

You're out of your mind.

Brutal!
Underwater hurdles.
Yeah that could work too. Hurdles should have a barrier that extends above the water so swimmers can easily spot them.
I was wondering what the difference was between our lame UT and the real UT. It seems manageable until I factor in room and board.

Do you know if the rates here include fees? The local UT website separates tuition and fees into their own category.

http://www.utexas.edu/business/accounting/pubs/tf_flatsem.pdf
Not sure. I think they're just straight up tuition rates. I don't really too many fees though. Your best bet is to call to be sure.

Are you thinking of applying or something? The "it seems manageable" part of your post leads me to think so.
Wow, it was the girl on the right. . . I think.
I see what you did there.

I prefer the cute American.
Ooo swimming underwater for distance would be a kickass event. They need to hire me as a consultant.
oooo i'm good at that. i used to be able to stay underwater for so long that people (other lifeguards) thought i was dead. at Club Med we used to have a "pool olympics" which included team breath-holding under water (first person holds breath as long as possible, when they come up the next person goes under etc). my team always won. i'd still be holding my breath (i'd go first) when the other team's last person came up gasping.
Also, I thought we were friends Moxio and dcfox :(
You know the saying, as Moxio goes I go. So if you were to beome Moxio's friend then we can be friends as well.

Maybe next year, I really would love to live and study out there but I'm absolutely frightened of amassing a large amount of debt.
Why do these ladies shower after they get out of the pool?

Is there a ton of chlorine or something?
Because they're cock teases.

Resisting to make sex jokes. :\
Only a capitalist pig would mock the glorious achievements of the workers revolution.
Communist Vocabulary:

pig
capitalist
glorious
comrade
revolution
workers

?anything else?

I remember once I had to drag up a 40 lb bag of sand from the bottom of a 12-foot deep lake as part of lifeguard training. It was tough enough to find it, never mind drag it up. I remember I had to exhale before I got back to the surface. And had to cough up some water when I finally hit the surface. That was the longest I've held my breath.
Just caught a Nike commercial with Team USA that used this version of the anthem behind it. Noice.

That was awesome.
Why do you like to put yourself into positions of authority, lordwow?
A fair question. I suppose I prefer it to being a subordinate.

Plus, when you move up the ladder, you're almost guaranteed to have to supervise people.

LOL at McD's having Olympians pitch their shitty chicken sangwich

Like training Olympians go near McD's

And 'Kate & Kath' looks awful
Why do you like to put yourself into positions of authority, lordwow?
Because he's one of the most influential seniors at his school. Plus he likes to blog.
Austin is expensive, Mojimbo, but well worth it.
I wouldn't say that. Quick google search yielded this: http://austin.about.com/od/localstatistics/a/costofliving.htm
It's probably more than SA, but relatively, it's not super expensive.
Maybe next year, I really would love to live and study out there but I'm absolutely frightened of amassing a large amount of debt.
Yeah, debt stinks. =/

It really depends on what your going into though. Medical students are usually ~$100k in the hole when they graduate, but they get paid a shitload, so they're alright. Less employable majors can have trouble with debt though.
As long as you can get a good job with whatever you want to do (what do you want to do, by the way?), you should be alright in the long run.
Because he's one of the most influential seniors at his school. Plus he likes to blog.
That's true

We did get free drinks for being influential though. Getting drunk on the university dime = $$
Is it the one where they say "All my life I've dreamt of this sandwich!" ?

That cracks me up as it's so clearly a Chick-Fil-A original sandwich rip off.
I thought it was Ariel until I saw those closeups.
She's kinda cute. But she's got nothing on my girl
How hard would it be to put a white border around a picture, Moxio?
If it's as simple as you put it, not hard at all. Need some services?
