Just so everyone is clear, MVP doesn't apply to the bonus deal at all. The +50% coupon supersedes the +10% bonus to trades that you get with the MVP.
 
Just scored two copies of Just Cause and one copy of DOAX2 for $16.96 each.

Also got 2 copies of Bust A Move Deluxe for $10 each.

3 Gunpey's for $15 total.

Loco Roco for $5.

I'm gonna go back to Circuit City and grab one more copy of DOAX2, then its time to turn over my haul. :bouncy:

I got the extra 50% at two stores for DOAX2

spent $114.82 at circuity city and got $265 in credit. Virtua Tennis 3 got a whopping $45 if you can get them to accept it.

What about these deals, shouldn't these flip preatty well. I am trying to figure out why no one has mentioned the CC Wii deals. Anyone know the trade in values for those 4 games. They are probably preaty high. And also I mean relitively recent trade values. Thanks a bundle by the way for whoever knows the values. :D P.S. I love u GC. You just made my day.

BTW my master plan is to flip tons of things and things that I already have buy a Wii, another wiimote, and A game or two. Sweet huh, and for not too much out of pocket. Also my GC is getting in some Wii's very soon.

You may be out of luck on those Wii games, I'm afraid. I only asked about Meet The Robinsons and it is $18, so only $27 from the $17 spent. That might be OK, but I generally don't bother unless I can double what I spend. It isn't worth the trouble especially if you have to buy a new game right then and there.

I'm sure the others trade for less. They don't sell them new for any more than $39.99 so the trade-ins won't be any more than $18.

Personally I'm going to use the 2 sets of Meet The Robinsons and Avatar (and the 3 CC's I went to all had many more) I bought today for trading to EB/GS for their Wii game deal. Those will cover 2 big Fall releases for the Wii ;).

Sorry about that but then again the money I make will be spent on more games. Overall I am trying to get the most bang for my buck. You probably get what I am saying right io. You are probably right about the EB/GS thing but I will wait for final values. Thanks for your help and the warning. I have read all 28 pages of post and these 4 and you have consistently been a huge help. I really appreciate it.

If your stores force you to buy a game but you really just want the store credit, you might want to pick up Outrun 2 for PSP, it's only $9.99.

You can also try asking to have a list printed up of new games they have in stock for whatever system interests you most. My stores have tons of games at 7.99 that have been on the shelf forever. Can't think of many off the top of my head but I know some of the armored core games on PS2 are 7.99 new
 
Just picked games from Circuit City for the flipin best deal ever. haha I crack myself up. BTW my Game Crazy isn't requiring me to buy didly squat except I'm going to buy a MVP card. Also They count DOAX2 as a non sport but Virtua Tennis as a sport. I didnt find VT anyways. BTW, again mad love going out to io, storch, and icruise for the great work. GOOD JOB GUYS!!!!

Just got back from GC and traded in the following:

Armored Core PSP - $21.00
Tamagotchi Party On - $27.00
Tony Hawk Project 8 - $30.00
Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 - $37.50
Virtua Tennis 3 - $45 (amazingly, I saw that they were selling the game used for like $40)
Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged - $27.27

So none of the trade-in values seem to have changed from before, although Tony Hawk got less than I had hoped. They may have had too many of those. The Tamagotchi game was also less than I had hoped. I got them both from the Amazon DOTD. I ended up making about $21 on those two together, but it probably wasn't worth the trouble.

They stuck to the "buy one game for every two you trade in" rule, but said it was OK to preorder a game instead of buying one in stock, as long as I paid for it in full with the credit. And since I finally decided to get the MVP card, they counted that as one of my "purchases" which was nice of them.

All in all, I've probably made $200 in profit (although it's not like I went out and bought all of the games that I traded in specifically for this deal -- I had a number in my collection that I wanted to get rid of).
 
I traded in a lot of 5$ games along with some gifts and Paper Mario... I paid about $50 total for the stuff I traded.

I received $165 approximately for these titles:

Super Paper Mario (Wii) - paid $20, got $45
Mario 64 (DS) - gift, got $18
Harvest Moon (DS) x3 - paid $15, got $54
Cooking Mama (DS) - gift, got $14 (I think)
Gunpey (PSP) - paid $5, got $12.50
Puzzle Challenge (PSP) - paid $5, got $10.50
Block Party (PSP) - paid $5, got $10.50

I picked up Resident Evil for Wii, and tomorrow I'm getting GrimGrimoire for PS2. I'm also going to try going to CC and pricematching the BB coupons on Bust a Move (PSP)... they've been working at BB consistently even though they're expired, and they've worked a few times at CC when expired as well for me. So if it doesn't work, no loss, I'll just buy them anyway and still come out with 2x in store credit.

I'm very happy with nearly a 300% profit (even though it's credit... I obviously buy a lot of games). I'm debating what to get tomorrow... I managed to pick up a Mint condition Stella Deus (PS2) @ $15 today along with Summoner 2 for $8 in addition to RE4 Wii, but I'm hoping to cash in on the B2G1F deal. With anywhere between $70 and $110 in credit tomorrow (depending on my CC journey), I'm going to do a lot of review reading tonight.

You can mix and match the systems. The prices in the Wiki are after the 10% MVP member bonus, which doesn't apply to this deal.

It doesn't quite work that way. The $18 for FF III is with the 10% MVP, so the base price is $16.36, and 50% on top of that makes it $24.54. I don't know if that Field Commander price is accurate (it is an odd price, so it could be lower at a particular store) or if it includes MVP or not, so I can't comment on that one.

Yes, I and many others have mentioned this. But several other people have mentioned that they thought Gamecrazy as a chain was updating prices (to be lower) and I see no evidence of that.
 
fuck ing homos at Gamecrazy. God those fuck ers suck. I take in some games to flip and he tells me that I don't have to buy anything over the phone. Then I get the fuck there and this dude rings my games up. Every time I ask him about the 50% He beats around the bush, but asks a ton of questions about my doubles and why my games are so clean. The homo then without telling me puts a MVP card on the transaction without me asking him (I was gonna buy one anyway, but without telling fuck ing B***h. I ask him about the reason why I didn't get 50% more and he tells me I have to buy 1 new game after each 2 games. I know it was the same guy I talked to on the phone because he has a southern accent but the store is in cali. SO I walk out of the store, with a profit but not as much as I should have gotten. Then when I got in the car I remembered that I could have bought 7 new games and then just returned them. Danget I'm stupid. But if that retard wouldn't have screwed me over I wouldn't of had to be kicking myself right now. fuck ing southern hick, that fuck er. Now I hate Game Crazy more than CC which is so unbelieveable you have no idea. You have no idea how much I hate CC too, so know I hate GC even more. AHHHHHH thosefuck ers sorry. One last vent. Well, the actual policy is that you have to buy a new game, but telling you otherwise over the phone AND putting an MVP on your account is pretty crappy.

Anyhow, people from my GC told me as long as I bought a next-gen title, new or used, I would get the bump up. So I opted to buy a cheap 360 title (Saint's Row) and keep the remaining credit.

Wish I would have known about not needing an MVP card, as I renewed JUST to do the deal.

To clarify, I took OGHowie's post as a worry about his local GCs lowering their prices because of getting multiple copies of a game due to the promo, and not because of some chain-wide price-lowering update as you're suggesting. Apparently, we're talking about 2 different things.
 
GameCrazy employees are lame. You can read what happened in the main GameCrazy 50% thread.

At least VT3 and DOAX2 haven't gone down in price yet. :)
 
Pretty insulting when they comment about how the disk is spotless and give you a look. Like taking care of your disks is a damn crime. If the disk is filthy they usually don't say a word.

Despite this promo I am not seeing many new games come in. The only new 360 and DS stuff this past week I have seen behind the counter is my own trades. Kinda interesting

Anyone know the valkerie profile lenneth trade in value? Probably not worth the flip but my circuit city has had several of these sitting on the shelf for awhile at 16.00.
 
Curious if anyone knows what Oddworld Stranger's Wrath for Xbox trades for.

This can be found at Kmart for $4.99. However I noticed yesterday that they were asking $19.99 for the game used.
