How many copies of a game can I trade in?
​You are allowed to trade in 4 copies of the same game (same system) within a rolling 30 day period.
 
What do I need to trade in an older console?
The console, power cable, av cable, and controller. Sometimes they don't care about USB charge cable but ymmv. 3DS XL trade would be console, charger, and stylus. Some have reported being charged a refurb fee for missing the stylus, but again ymmv (answer stolen from anarchyburger)

Does the Pro Membership B2G1 coupon apply to only games, or accessories as well?
The coupon applies to both games and accessories, per the wording on the coupon.
 
I have a $XX.xx pre-owned reward certificate, and I want to use it on a B2G1 transaction. Should I?
It depends. If the three games are equal value, do not use your certificate. The value of the certificate would be applied to the free game, which would not benefit you. If one game is more expensive, you can use the certificate to make it the same value as the other two games ($5 reward certificate applied to transaction with two $10 games and one $15 game would make all three games $10).
 
 
TERMINOLOGY AND LINGO:
ASL/SL: Assistant Store Leader, Store Leader; manager positions at GS.
B2G1: Buy two, get one free. Typically refers to the coupon you receive when becoming Pro.
GCU/BB: Gamer’s Club Unlocked, Best Buy
GS: GameStop
JD: Junior detective, an employee who is out to get someone
LP: Loss Prevention; this is the department that actually bans accounts after being flagged.
TC/TiC: Trade credit.
TIV/TV: Trade in value, or what a game currently trades for. When posting a TV for a game, always use the base value.

I just checked and at least one of my giftcards are still working, so it doesn't appear that they nuked them.

Has anyone's instore orders changed to ready for pickup? None of mine have, stores are now closed. Just curious
 
2 of my orders were ready for pickup, I was going to ignore them so I'd just get refunded but I forgot and went to that store to pickup Xbox money 

 
I renewed my membership last Saturday. the $5 certificate is not present anywhere. I checked "active offers" online and in the app  and is empty. Has this happened to anyone? Thanks

If anyone is having trouble redeeming their codes with that payment error, try making a new account at checkout (l would log completely out and delete your cookies) using a new email and also may need to use a different address/phone number.

Ended up using a dummy address and phone with my old college email and was able to redeem the gift cards on xbox/psn credit. Also you can use the $50 + $10 increments to redeem 2 $30 codes if you have them.

Boomerang is the point. It's on sale for DotD for $10 and the base trade value is $10 ($11 for Pro). If you trade it towards a select game pre-order or purchase you could $13 (Pro value) trade credit:

Ton of crappy dollar games incoming for everyone I guess?! Love how Fedex tells you packages are on the way and GS site will probably get stuck on "preparing for shipment" forever.

I'm about to have a lot of battlefield and dj hero, tbh I hope they use those small boxes just to use for eBay

I just ordered another xbox gc no problem

well 2 hours before stores close and none of the 4 stores that i have pickups for have sent pickup ready emails. Wonder if they're all slammed with orders or if all the orders were put on hold

that would be the gamestop thing to do, "we already paid out the gift cards, but let's keep our inventory of worthless 99 cent games."
