The General 360 Owners/Buyers FAQ Thread (Updated 1/15/10)

Sorry for the double post, but I think I just figured out something.  You can switch between hard drives. 

I'm thinking about getting a 3rd party 320GB or 500GB hard drive as a second hard drive just for game installs and other things that don't require Xbox Live like demos. 

Install my games to the larger hard drive and then swap back to my 120GB for Xbox Live related things like Games with Gold.  I know I'm late to the party.

 
I know it's probably been asked a thousand times, I just couldn't find it easily in search. If I have $8.16 cents in my MS account but want to buy a $19.99 game is there a way to combine them? I've tried both via the console and PC and neither work. Thanks!
