Throw a house party, Rocko.
, the dude told me he has plenty of beer in the fridge if I want to have friends over. However, that's not my thing.

I should get in on that Fight Night deal at GS. Should stop by Tar Jay and pick up Banjo N&B and Monsters vs Aliens (gonna trade in NFS Underground which I picked up from a previous clearance run).

Both the peices of plastic that hold the triggers up are broken down the middle. One actually effects the trigger but the other one is just like a crack. The broken trigger is like half way down. It still works, but its annoying as fuck.

I actually had this happen with another controller too, but I lost the little plastic piece. If I could return them and get new dualshocks (they are just original sixaxis), that would be $$$.
Hey Linkin, I think you and my 4 year old nephew might be going to the same theater watching Transformers 2 at the same time.
Garden Grove?
, the dude told me he has plenty of beer in the fridge if I want to have friends over. However, that's not my thing.
Just invite some folks over, chill in the pool, and set up rock band or something. It'd be a good time. :)

You don't have to drink if you don't want to.
Garden Grove?
I have no idea, I just know they are down there and plan on seeing it in the first screening.

In case you are in the same theater, good luck, because that little dude is a punk sometimes.

Walmart won't take returns without the reciept, so I really doubt you can. However, you obviously don't care about breaking the law, so just shoplift that shit. It's not hard to do from walmart, though I'd never do it personally.

Another chapter in the long history of Gloversville High School basketball has come to a close.

Monday night, the Gloversville Enlarged School District Board of Education accepted the retirement of middle school guidance counselor and boys varsity basketball coach Don Landrio.

:cry::cry::cry:

I have a feeling our season next year might be fucked. We were shooting for another section title game too. Now that seems a little hard to ask for.. :whistle2:#

Damn. I don't know how you could pass that up.

A few friends, plenty of beer and a swimming pool sounds like a great time.

I just checked the theaters around me and they had 3 12:01 showings that sold out. A more popular theater is having a 12:40 & 12:50 showing as well...damn!
Hey DarthPuma, can you recommend me some good bands that are like Reel Big Fish?
Check out:

Suicide Machines
Less Than Jake
Catch-22
Streetlight Manifesto
Madness
English Beat

Catch-22 is some straight up classic ska, I prefer that band to Streetlight.

When The Watchmen opened, the biggest theater here (Regal @ McArthur Mall) stay open all night and had a new showing every hour from 12am through the next day. It really surprised me because they had to keep the mall open all night for it.

Beer is vile.

I'm going to hang out by the pool with someone tomorrow if it doesn't rain.

I thought I bombed my last CHEM test because on blackboard the grade read "91 out of 199", and since I never go to class I didn't get my actual test back. I emailed my professor over a week ago and asked if she made a mistake or just decided to make it worth more points to weigh it down a bit. No reply, I emailed her again about 3 days ago, still nothing. Then today I check and magically it switched to out of 100 (My overall grade is now 97%), but she never emailed me back. I see it as a total dick move.

Hm... I might check some of those out. I am not a huge fan of them, but I hope I will get to see Less Than Jake at the Warped Tour next week.

Obviously you have only had cheap beer.

Yeah, Catch's Keasbey Nights is fantastic, up there in my favorite albums of all time. Outside of that, I greatly prefer Streetlight Manifesto.
______
Any of you guys know any good hardcore bands? I'm not talking that $$$$$$ shit, I'm looking for the kind before all these homo scene bands came along.

Do you mean hardcore punk or metal?

If you want some great hardcore metal (as in the band that started melodic hardcore), check out At the Gates, particularly Slaughter of the Soul. Carcass also kicks serious ass, but they are more thrash than hardcore.

If you mean punk... well, that's a whole different post.

nasum, melt banana, pig destroyer, fuckonthebeach, spazz, converge, charles bronson, and combatwoundedveteran, DarthPuma. :whistle2:&

Have you listened to Senses Fail before Puma? I love them, and I think they could be described as hardcore punk. Check out Let It Enfold You by them.

EDIT: They are not as hardcore as those other bands mentioned, but I still think they are great.

This German girl in National Treasure is "yum".
What to play first? Wolverine, Fight Night or Point Lookout. :whistle2:k
Wolverine!
I'm probably the only one that likes the way the new max payne is going, they pretty much did all they could do with the urban, dark and cloudy settings of the first two games.

Just looking at max as a dirty, crusty bald drunk old man, is pretty much definitive of his noir background.

Cant wait for the game.
I'm liking the looks of the new game. I wish Uncharted would stay in the jungle setting. :(

I need some suggestions for running music for tomorrow. Looking for something that can keep my adrenaline pumping and is listenable. No StinkinPrime music, please. kthxbai.

Straight edge stuff*. The kind with circle moshes and two steps and breakdowns. Have Heart is a decent example of what I'm looking for.
*don't care if it's straight edge, I just don't know the subgenre that describes what I want
Though you did remind me, I need to get Slaughter of the Soul again, and I need to expand my hardcore punk collection beyond Bad Brains and Black Flag.
in 8th grade I recorded myself trying to scream/growl slaughter of the soul, and posted it on a metal forum asking for critiquing. Lets see if one of you detectives can find it.
Damn...really? You shoot those candlestick dudes ones and they die...as for Times Square, that was an easy and fun mission. Upgrade your shit man...it helps a lot.
I have, just got the upgraded darts, which seem to do fuck all against those little things.

Met a pretty sweet girl today, cute as all hell and really nice, managed to snag her number while talking and when she left in her car I noticed three CD's on her dashboard: RJD2's The Horror, Mos Def's Ecstatic, and J-Live's All of the above.

No.

"All treasure should be required to be hidden in jungles." --???

I thought you didn't want that shitty hardcore crap, Puma! In any case:

As I Lay Dying
As Blood Runs Black
All That Remains
The JonBenet
At All Cost

Noticing a trend here? These are the best "hardcore" bands I can think of, and that isn't saying much.

Check out Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, and Cynic if you want some music with substance.
