Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

Hah, looks like Paradox is getting in on the Indie Gala action. Wonder how long it'll take Magicka to show up! Any super sleuths able to figure out what the unlocks are (two are Steam keys so I'm guessing at the very least they are DLC and not just music -- likely candidates could be Elven Legacy and Majesty 2 DLC). Unless they're something amazing I already pretty much own everything I want out of this.

Hi all, I took the iniciative and bought the full bundle to make a happy hour group. If anyone is willing to help me on how to do it... would be fantastic.

I kinda bet that on of the unlocks is the first Majesty.

I'm going to have pass this time Fox :(
But I'll be back next time if you host!

Edit: I should add that if you have any difficulty filling my usual slot this time around - I will be "in" again - since I said before seeing the games that I was "in".

He probably wont have any trouble filling in at least one bundle. Beyond that, if the demand is not there, he could simply not do a second bundle.

The thing that I wonder about though is, if they're on to the group-buy thing, will they still allow the 20 pack option? We might have to go back to the 4-packs. Still a better deal than buying the bundle by yourself, but obviously not as good as the 20-packs.

On the subject of this bundle. I like what I see, but I wish I hadn't bought Omegalodon during BAB3. I passed up on other games to buy that instead.

I do realize that, but I really don't want to leave him in any kind of lurch.
So, if he does have any problems, or others bail on him after he already BTA, I can easily step back up and rejoin if he needs me to.
When I saw the hints before the bundle came out, I was like - "I am definitely going to want this!"
But after going and watching some gameplay vids after it went live, I was like "eh - will I ever play any of these?"
I'm starting to feel overwhelmed by my backlog - I haven't even used the 25% off amazon code yet!

k got room for 2 more people =P

Hey, that was a mistake they made. Download it again, the new file does not require a password anymore.
How's the interest on this? Lead & Gold looks mad fun, making me want to get this now.
This is the first main bundle I'm skipping (not counting the Android bundles).. so my interest is pretty low. Last I heard, the multiplayer in Lead & Gold is dead.. which is the focus of the gameplay.
How's the interest on this? Lead & Gold looks mad fun, making me want to get this now.
Gauging by the people who have contacted me interest is still pretty high for it.

To me, Lead and Gold is really fun and looks pretty good. That said, MP was completely dead last time I played with one server going. Still a ton of fun if you can get buddies to play with you.
Too contrasting opinions lol. I'm sure Lead & Gold MP will increase with this, not that its a huge deal.
This bundle mostly consists of strategy games, which is why I'm skipping it. If you're a huge fan of strategy games, then it might be worth getting. Personal preference, I guess. Lead & Gold has been cheap many times, I'm sure it'll get a temporary boost in multiplayer activity but I'm not sure how long it'll last.

That's true. I figured I wouldn't be taking a big hit if I hosted one so I just went ahead with it.

If your interested PM me.

I usually get mine within five minutes of may paypal confirmation. I would check your spam folder. Also they have problems with some email providers. I saw on twitter they were testing any .me emails I think.
How long does it usually take to receive the email for Indie Gala? I ordered over 1.5 hours ago.
That's waaaay too long. It's usually within 90 seconds.

Send them an email asking them what's up.

Last time I played L&G, I hosted locally, and I had like 9 people jump on. Not the best ping, there. And then when I got tired and quit, everyone got dropped. Still, I really enjoy the furious gameplay and the crisp visuals.

So how exactly does happy hour work and when and how long does it last?

I've been buying IG bundles from some kind CAGs the last few times so I figured I'd return the favor and host myself if I have the time.

There's a somewhat outdated explanation in the OP, which I haven't updated over the past few bundles because I'm lazy (I'll get to it if someone doesn't do it before me). Basically, you buy a BTA bundle now, then you wait for a Happy Hour and buy another BTA, making sure you click "Is it a gift?" and use the same e-mail address you used before. You'll get four copies to sell to other CAGs. An addendum to that is that you can buy multiple gift bundles of 10/15/20 at a discounted rate at the bottom of the page for an even lower cost per person. So buy now and wait for a Happy Hour to happen, and it happens randomly.
