Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

Pay more than $3.99 for Twin Sector and Grotesque Tactics

Steam codes for all.

http://www.indiegala.com/
I'm normally a sucker for indie bundles - but I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger for that bundle...I don't own any of the games, but the only game that looks semi-interesting to me is Future Wars. I wanted Grotesque Tactics a while ago, but the more I read, the more bad reviews I saw.

Anyone comment?

Mediocre at best. Might toss $1 for the three games as the other two don't interest me. How do you use past gala points, anyway?

Bought! Already had the "beat-the-average" games, so I'm selling Grotesque Tactics and Twin Sector for $1 each! PM me if interested.

Wonder what the bonus game will be...

EDIT: Sold to bfg9k

I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on the last Indie Gala bundle. Probably won't do it this time unless the average drops below $4. For all of these Indie Games that I barely have time to play but keep accumulating, paying above the average just to get some of these extras isn't making financial sense anymore.

Damn. Bought it almost an hour and a half ago and I'm still waiting for the keys. They were pretty fast for me last time. I actually don't have any of these so I paid over the average or whatever that was.
Yeah I have the URL to my profile but the keys aren't there. Oh well. Not like I was going to play them right this minute.
Make sure you click on the "Indiegala 3" link in your profile! It should extend the page to show your Steam keys for bundle 3.

Yeah. Nothing there. I shot their support an email. I guess it always happens to someone so why not me. LOL.

Happened to me too. Turns out I typoed my email even though the correct one is the one the paypal is tied to. *sigh*. I wrote them a couple of hours ago but nothing yet. I did file a dispute on paypal.

What a pain the ass. Humble Bundle support is usually really good at getting right back to you but not these guys.

Kinda interested in Grotesque Tactics, but there's no way that I'm paying $4.50 to get it. According to SteamPrices.com, It's been $2.50 in the past & it'll hit that price again.

The rest of the games look like they range from mediocre to outright crap.
Happened to me too. Turns out I typoed my email even though the correct one is the one the paypal is tied to. *sigh*. I wrote them a couple of hours ago but nothing yet. I did file a dispute on paypal.

12 hours later and still no reply from them. At this rate I think I'd have better luck getting help from Groupees or the Facekick people. I filed a dispute with Paypal but that takes forever.

This is the first Indie Gala bundle I bought (I think). I bit on above the average for Twin Sector and Trapped Dead. Hopefully the bonuses will be good.

I'll be getting this, $1 for 2 low requirement coop games. I got 2 sets of the last one just for Bunch of Heroes. Just wonder if they'll do that extra copy free like last time.

Put in $5 for the games. $1 each for 5 games isn't bad, plus grotesque tactics sounds fun. I hope they give us some free albums this time. I really liked some of then I got off previous bundles.

They've hinted at what one of the bonuses will be on their twitter page.

A clue about the new bonuses? Well ... let's just say that one of them is chaos with four wheels!

I just hope it's not P.A.M., that game has already been in 2 indie bundles.

Thankfully not. Per their facebook page, you can rule out PAM & Wasteland Angel as they replied to people guessing in the same thread topic as their twitter post:

Guys this is none of the games you mentioned... we can only assure you that this is something phenomenal ....

Good, here's hoping they mail me a copy of the new twisted metal game...

I still want that game. What other bundle was it in besides the facekick one?
I still want that game. What other bundle was it in besides the facekick one?
It was in the Groupees Be Mine bundle as a "random" bonus. Not everyone got it. You'd either get the Dream Aquarium screen saver, or P.A.M.

I bought this yesterday afternoon and have no games still. I had them send the link again to check and it says I have not paid even though I have a paypal email saying I have paid over the average.

I contacted support right away but am still without a response. Lame.

They will get to you...eventually. It will probably take them a couple of days based on experience but I think they do get back to everyone at some point.

It's not what I would consider a timely fashion but eh, they're Italians.

You could probably narrow down what the bonus game will be by counting the guesses. They've said only 2 people guessed it right (on their facebook/twitter/reddit pages). I might have missed some of the guesses, but it looks like only 2 people guessed that it'd be Renegade Ops. That's initially what I thought it'd be, even though it's published by Sega..
The unlocked bonus game is flatout!!! awesssoommeee!!!

I already own Flatout 1 and 2, but it's a great bonus for those who haven't played... really, really enjoyed those games.
sweet!

Is there a thread here on CAG where its permissible to trade gift codes from bundles like this? I missed out on last bundle and I'm sure there are some people have 5 gift copies at the rate they were giving them out.

Oh, man. I bought that bundle and got all the games when I first got it. I forgot to check it again later. It turns out I have P.A.M. and didn't know it. :)

Oh well Flatout was added free to Indie Gala.

You could always contact their support, should be able to get your key that way.

Bonuses are up. Gear Grinder (no Steam, direct download only), 4 music albums (Electric Children - All Night Party, DJ Cutman - Chiptune Hero, F-777 - Viper, F-777 - REMOTION Vol.2) and a comic called Sonia the Cruel.

So Indie Gala just tweeted this "Happy Easter to all of you #galapeople! To celebrate #HappyHour from now until Sunday! Don't miss the opportunity on http://www.indiegala.com !"

From now until Sunday. That's how long it lasts. I'm guessing that means that the happy hour sale ends at 12:01AM on Sunday morning local time (which is a little less than 9 hours away, I believe).

Apparently it works like it did last time.
Any new buyers who buy gift purchases get a second gift for free. Making it 2 for the price of 1.
If you've already bought the bundle at some point before the happy hour started, you get 2 free gifts when you buy a gift. making it 3 for the price of 1.
If you bought the bundle by the end of the day on March 31st, you get 3 free gifts for every gift you buy. Making that 4 for the price of 1.

So anyway, anybody out there who bought in the first week willing to host a group buy? I've held off on buying up to now because it didn't seem worth it for the games in the bundle. If we can get a group buy going though, 4 of us could get a beat the average bundle for about $1.20 a piece.
