Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.
Grabbed! That was the little push I was waiting for. Zombie pirates seems fun, my kids maybe like it too

Edit: can't install zombie pirates... "no steam content servers..."
Yeah I saw that in the game's Steam discussion. Unless there's a HH I'll just cheap out and wait until Miner Wars is $3ish solo. Doubt I'd play the other games. I know people rave over EDF but it looks like something I'd be bored of after an hour/fairly repetitive.

He must be sleeping. He was still up a couple of hours ago. I think he's in Texas, so it was about 4AM local time when I last saw him online.

Who else bought this bundle?

seems like it's having problem with paypal?

well this sucks. first time the system didn't recognize I picked the gift option, 2nd time paypal got stuck.

no happy hour for me i guess.

btw. will they give you gift links if you just tell me this is how it happens? i was hoping a better response than i got from Origin earlier?
It's over already? They took the "hour" part rather literally time around.
They usually do the first time around. The later happy hours are normally longer.

Ok I dont understand this Happy Hour shit at all but I bought a bundle because I read EDF is Xbox controller compatible.

So where do I get my keys? Am I supposed to be waiting for an email because I haven't gotten one.

Also I may have bought it at a dumb time because the average price keeps dropping.

Edit: Ok I got the email it just took awhile

Re: Steam keys for Euro Truck Simulator from the Gala Sim bundle.
Ok, I'll contact the developer and let ya'll know if I hear anything back.
Let us know what they say but I don't expect much.

Like The End said Gala doesn't seem much interested in going back and distributing Steam/Desura keys for old bundles even if the developer wants to. If it's something on Desura there's always the option to have the Steam keys distributed through Desura like Postal II did but for DRM free Gala stuff I think we are SOL on getting keys unless the developer does it on request on an individual basis.

Happy Hour = bonus copies when you buy a gift copy for a limited time so one person does a group buy then splits the cost and sells off the copies.

Glad you got it. It usually comes instantaneously but sometimes there's a small delay to get the email.

You should get an email with a unique URL link that will give you you keys and downloads. If you don't have and checked spam and it's not here either then there's a link on the indie gala page to resend key. If hat still doesn't work then contact support. Note that they are on Euro time and a response generally takes about a day. But try the key resender first.

but there's only a day+ left for the Flash bundle to end... and i missed out on HH :(

There's usually only 2 HH for a normal IG bundle (2 weeks). Having HH so close to finish. doubt there will be another

I would expect there to be at least one more, maybe on the last day. Too many people would complain otherwise.
I would expect there to be at least one more, maybe on the last day. Too many people would complain otherwise.
Why would people complain?.
They don't owe Happy Hour to anyone. They don't have to do it.

Not sure if that's a serious question.. people complain about everything lol. They usually do have a happy hour on the last day of their bundles though, but I guess it could be different for this bundle.
So if I buy now for above the beat the average price, I get two bundles instead of one?
Yes, as long as you check the "Is it a Gift" box; if you do not check that you will not get an extra copy.

this is my first happy hour purchase for a bundle. so i seem to pay twice, I got one bundle in my own library and four gifts.. that's supposed how it works right??

because first time it seems I didn't get any gift links, and i tried second time, then four gifts show up.. I'm not sure if i suppose to get 4 gifts per purchase(not much likely i assume) ?? both times I checked "this is a gift" option

I appreciate if anyone can clarify for me

If you bought early enough you are supposed to get 4x every gift you buy. If you didn't buy in early enough, then it is only 3 or 2 I think.

Not sure when you bought it to know.

Wowzers. Just played a bit of Earth Defence Force and that game is FUN! Imagine Starship Troopers, but back on earth.

I can see it being a bit samey in single player but it looks like it'll be a hoot in co-op. If you don't have this bundle yet but love mindless shooting, pick up a copy ASAP. Very pleased with EDF, the rest is just a bonus.

Looking to buy happy hour links for the Magicka, Colossus, and Flash bundles. PM me with your price and Paypal address if you have any available!
Looks like they've added 10 days to the countdown. I wonder if flash means something else in Italian?
Yeah, this actually happened with Colossus and once the Italians woke up and had their morning pizza they ended the bundle. I assume they will do the same here. I don't know why they don't just default for the bundle to end instead of rollover for extra days. That or they could just be extending it, I don't know.

Edit:

See, those sneaky Italians just changed it from 10 days 603 hours to 1 day 6 hours which I assume will be the true "end" of the bundle, which in Gala speak means forever, but possibly not as it could mean for the time being or for a few minutes or the bundle could be back next week if a bundle back will be.

They added more than a whole 'nother day from where I'm looking. Last night before bed I saw 3 hours left. Now I see 1 day 4 1/2 hours. And this is 10 hours or so after when I saw 3 hours left.

They certainly have an interesting way of counting.

4, 3, 2, 1, 3, 2, 1, 4, 3, 2...

They must've attended The George Bush Mathematical Learning Center

They keep extending the time because they know that lots of people wait until the last minute to buy before getting in on a deal. It's like those stores that always have liquidation sales, even though those are their regular prices.

It's part of their strategery.
