Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.
They added more than a whole 'nother day from where I'm looking. Last night before bed I saw 3 hours left. Now I see 1 day 4 1/2 hours. And this is 10 hours or so after when I saw 3 hours left.

They certainly have an interesting way of counting.

4, 3, 2, 1, 3, 2, 1, 4, 3, 2...
Well the Zero, 0, صفر ṣifr, has it's roots in 5th century (AD) India. Arabs soon adopted it, but it didn't reach Europe until the 13th century, via the Arabs.

I'm sure with this whole internet communication thing, the IG guys will learn of it soon.

Indie Gala Dwarves is out!

http://indiegala.com/

Basic Bundle
DRM Free - Nosferatu - The Wrath of Malachi
GamersGate - Street Racing Syndicate
Steam - Gettysburg: Armored Warfare
music - Unlocks 2nd Week

Beat The Average
GamersGate - Guilty Gear Isuka
GamersGate - Gun Metal
Steam - A Game of Dwarves
Steam - Warlock - Master of the Arcane
Steam - Unlocks 2nd Week
Steam - Unlocks 2nd Week

Interesting to see the change here. Features the new DRM type of GamersGate, and no Desura games. I would recommend you pick it up, Warlock is a great game. I've got at least 40 hours played. :)

OMG can we get a break! Buying in now to see if a HH pops up, but as I have done lately - no reserves. If I get in on HH I will post and let everyone know.

Nosferatu - The Wrath of Malachi is a pretty good game. Isuka is the worst of the GG games and I'm pretty sure that I bought Gun Metal 13 years ago or more. I'm really interested in Warlock and the bonus games.

I really like Warlock. It's kind of Master of Magic, but less thinking.

I'm updating the Wiki, it's a work in progress.
EDIT: fixed it some. Maybe someday I'll feel like filling out everything that's missing.

Warlock is a fantastic game if you like strategy games. I've only had time to dabble with it, but it reminds me of a cross between Civ 5 and the Elven Legacy/Fantasy Wars games. I'd highly recommend it. Not sure about the rest of the games... I'll definitely be waiting for Week 2 to see what unlocks.

At the moment, it's looking like a pass for me. I already own all the steam games revealed thus far. I would imagine that the bonus unlocks will be Paradox games as well. But I probably already own those as well thanks to the various bundles on Amazon.

And I really don't have any interest in the other games.
OMG can we get a break!
lol, I know. It's getting ridiculous. Are they afraid that we'll all forget about them if they don't launch a bundle every 10 days? Or maybe they're afraid that some other bundle will steal the games that they're trying to line up.

As a side note, is Gettysburg: Armored Warfare even playable anymore? I know it's primarily a multiplayer game, but I heard that the servers were shut down a while ago.

You can still play with bots.

Eh. Thus far I've got everything I'd want from the bundle except Nosferatu. That said I might still pick up a bundle from a CAG during happy hour since I've got a buddy who I think would like Warlock.
I don't think I remember ever seeing GamersGate drm in a bundle?
They did this with the Simulation bundle. You get a key, redeem it on GG, and a copy gets added to your account of that game

I assume whatever DRM is contained in that game goes along with it, so it technically is not GG DRM, but sort of like activating something on Steam.

It's happened before with the Indie Gala Simulation bundle.

EDIT: Damnit, ninja'd by Fox!

Ohhhhh. Duh on my part. My brain didn't go there for some reason.

According to GamersGate:
Guilty Gear Isuka = DRM free
Gun Metal = DRM free
Street Racing Syndicate = no DRM information

Would have bought this, until i saw GG on there.

After the last incident with missing steam keys out of their own bundles, i swore never to return to their software.

I can live without this bundle, although i would have dove right in.
Unlocks might be Warlock DLC. It's a solid game but the AI is pretty bad -- the low budget shows.
Very true, but I still recommend warlock to anyone that's really into turn based strategy. Some of the game is really nice and flushed out but you will notice 'unfinished' mechanics or those that are lacking so much.

Going to wait to see what the music and rest of the games are before purchasing this one. Have everything except Nosferatu, and that game actually looks intresting. Glad these bundles are exposing me to some really good fps horror/survival games, unbelievable how many ive got sitting in my backlog.

I still enjoyed it to the tune of 90+ hours. Given the faulty 'player/opponent' AI the game essentially boils down to being a turn-based Majesty experience. I had fun killing the neutrals/monsters, grabbing resources, exploring the other worlds, and killing higher tier monsters, etc. It's just a shame because with a bigger budget and a bit more ambitious design it could have been great.

Indeed it could have been, I love majesty. I remember getting the demo when I first moved to the U.S. in 2000. Dont remember exactly what year I played it but I was 9 or 10, that pretty much hooked me to Majesty until my cousin got me a copy of warcraft 2.

Looks like Postal 1 just got added to Steam. Let's storm the gates of Indie Gala and demand a Steam key from Postal 1 included in Indie Gala #2, who's with me!?

Good luck, the dev for smooth operators was trying to give indie gala desura keys and he said they didn't see interested in providing them then did a code drop for it here.

I have to agree - their long-term support sucks. One of the Android games they had in their bundles doesn't work with Android 4.x. I sent them an email asking for an updated apk, they responded with something like "will look at it", and that was it (no response to my follow-up emails).
Looks like Postal 1 just got added to Steam. Let's storm the gates of Indie Gala and demand a Steam key from Postal 1 included in Indie Gala #2, who's with me!?
Should've bought it from Build a Bundle 2. Anyone that bought the game from that bundle will get a Steam key eventually.

Never expect Indie Gala to add keys for stuff that was previously DRM-free in their bundles.. not gonna happen, they don't care.
Related post here
So in other words, not likely given what was originally said:

No sorry, too many man hours to hand out keys to each person, and asking each one to prove it.

Though maybe they would be able to hand over a batch of keys to Indie Gala if they really are going to inquire about it from them. Personally, I'm not going to hold my breath.

An update on this from the Steam thread:

UPDATE:

In talks with Indie Gala about the possibility of them distributing keys to those that bought that bundle. If they can automate it, we'll do it for sure.

So it looks like the ball is in Indie Gala's court.

I have zero interest in the Postal series, but I'm just delighted with how this is turning out. Because as JShackles said, the ball is clearly in Indie Gala's court, and you know that they really don't want to do it. But now they'll look like chumps if they don't.

Or they'll just stall hoping people will eventually move on and forget about it.

Like with the Smooth Operators dev they were all 'Oh we're busy with our current bundle but maybe when that's done' and weeks later when it was done *crickets* and then they just moved on to the next bundle and the next.

If they do end up doing the Postal Steam keys though then people shouldn't let them off the hook for Smooth Operators or Euro Truck Simulator 1 either.

Oh yeah, they still owe us Euro Truck Simulator. Not sure if I bought the one with Smooth Operators.

Edit: Update 2 on Postal key for Steam
UPDATE 2:

Good news, Indie Gala agreed, and we have sent the keys. I dunno how long it will take as it is in their hands now, but I'm pleased to be able to offer those that already own a P1 licence the chance to transfer it to Steam.

Desura to follow.

sorry for the multiple edits, checked my indiegala profile and it's down.

and now back up
gonna go have a drink

wow......i wouldnt be surprised if they did indat gala ***** and offered postal with a steam key instead of giving it to buyers of indie gala 2

Well I ended up emailing SCS about Euro Trucker and their first email was all like "it's the same game n u can add it to steam as non-steam game."

I followed up and explained I got it from IG and bought it off Amazon and their response was to not respond for two weeks. I sent them a follow up two days ago telling them I would at least appreciate a response to my second email and we'll see what they say. It's a bit annoying they would just ignore my second email and makes me think I will wait for Euro Trucker 2 to be dirt cheap or bundled instead of buying it any time soon.

Well if they do put Postal Steam keys in a future bundle we'll know where they came from.

That's kind of a Facekick move so I would hope they wouldn't go that far.

I'd normally say it doesn't much matter to me since I buy all their bundles anyway but they've been getting worse and worse and I'm actually passing on this current one. I mean Gettysburg? Really? Even Paradox admits it was a train wreck.

I don't think they could do that. Even Facekick had contracted agreements (horribly written as they were) to include games in bundles.

Ha! I'm so giving you my copy of Gettysburg if I get this bundle. I already have it from an Amazon bundle.

I hope they'll go ahead and add the Desura keys for Smooth Operators, too. I'd like to have it linked to my Desura account, but don't really want to bother the dev with asking about it.

Looks like they've revealed part of the bonus: Europa Universalis III Complete + Europa Universalis III: Heir To The Throne + Europa Universalis III: Divine Wind. Basically it's
Europa Universalis III Chronicles, but they made sure to list each part separately to make it look like you were getting more stuff.

Once again, I own it. So there isn't any incentive to buy this unless I decide to grab an extra copy for a friend come Happy Hour.

EDIT: And color me surprised that Indie Gala is actually gonna distribute the Postal keys. Now all we need is for them to do the same for Smooth Operators.

Another great news! Looks like they're not going to pull anything dodgy: :)
"]we will also give #postal1 Steam key to all previous #Indiegala2 buyers ! Stay tuned!
I've never played any grand strategy game (that I can remember). Have Victoria 2 and hearts of iron 3 on my backlog, but I readed great things about EU3, that it is a bit "easy" and less complex, so this game can be my entry to the grand strategy world... Also, I only have Warlock from the pack, and is almost a fact Defenders of Ardania will be the next one...

I'm not sure if it's less complex, but it's certainly easier to grasp and a good entry point into Paradox's grand strategy games. While Hearts of Iron 3 is a military game and Vicky 2 focuses more on the economy (in quite some detail), Europa Universalis 3 is a jack-of-all-trades. There's a little bit of everything there, and it's still very complex, but it's very rewarding. If you decide to jump into EU3, I'd recommend watching a "Let's Play" on YouTube or reading an AAR from the Paradox forums as a tutorial, since the actual in-game tutorial isn't very good.

EU3 is one of my favorite games, and if you take the time to learn it, it'll give you a fantastic historical grand strategy experience.
