Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

Ah, couldn't have predicted the Easter Special. I can't recall any prior precedent. Also a got of CAGs are bundle junkies and need their Happy Hour fix asap.

Yeah, I've never seen them do a holiday themed discount like this. It is cool though, except for maybe people who BTA at full price who might be a little upset about it, but in the end it's only a few bucks difference at most.

Wasn't going to buy this bundle, because I mostly wanted A Game of Dwarves... but at this price is a no brainer just to check defenders of ardania and Europa Universalis 3 (always wanted to try a grand strategy game, and seems this is the best to start)

I just bought my first thing from the Gala Store (Crazy Machines 99 cent tier). I bought it about 90 minutes ago, and I still haven't received any email confirmation or my keys. This sort of thing isn't all that unheard of with the indie gala bundles, so I'm not surprised that I'm seeing this with the gala store as well.

Before I go through the trouble of sending them an email asking them what's going on, I thought I'd ask if I'm looking in the wrong place for my keys? I've checked my email in case they sent it there, I've checked my account page on the gala store, and I've checked my indie gala bundle page which I linked to my gala store account. I'm not seeing the keys in any of those places. Is there somewhere else they should be?

You should see your keys under "My Serial Numbers" after you click on "My Account" in the Gala Store. If it's not there, then you've got a problem and should contact their support.

Ah, there they are. I didn't even see that link until you tipped me off to look for it. I had just assumed that the keys would be listed under each individual order on the "my orders" page.

Thanks for saving me the trouble of contacting them.

Alright. Thanks.

The Star Wolves bundle is tempting. All three games, Steam Keys for $3.99 if you bought Dwarves. Now we all have 1 and 3 from bundles, but 2 has never been bundled or cheaper than $9.99 on Steam.

That said, it's probably a chore to sell off parts 1 and 3 of a series and I feel like #2 is going to end up in a bundle at some point this year.

I was looking at that bundle, as well, but I might go in just for Star Wolves 1 at $.99. I already have SW3, and I've heard that SW2 is very buggy and the worst of the three games.

Star Wolves 2 has also been part of the Dynamite Bundle by Bundle Stars.

All three Star Wolves games were in the GamersGate 1C complete pack (non-Steam) some time ago in case people bought that, squeeed at what a great deal it was, and promptly forgot all about it (like I did).

That's where I have it too, which is why I tend to get my 1C Steam keys from IG bundles as double dipping at pennies on the pennies is something I'll do any day.

Edit:
Oh and for those who care, I contacted SCS about getting Steam keys for Euro Truck Simulator. Their initial response was no, but you can add it on Steam. I sent a follow up explaining how much more convenient a Steam key would be and how I have bought ETS twice (once on Amazon, once on IG) so I wasn't really inclined to buy it a third time on Steam. Their response was to ignore me. lol. I sent a follow up email two weeks later telling them I understood if their answer was still no, but I would appreciate a response either way and their response was to keep ignoring me.

Personally, the ignoring is pretty annoying since I was really polite both times, so I think I'll just wait on ETS2 until it's bundled somewhere as opposed to my intitial plans to buy it the first time it hit 75% off.

Exactly, bring back the blind pre-purchase indieroyale for $3 and I would've bought all of them.

Only if you enjoyed ZD and want to play it again. Otherwise, I'd say wait for a Happy Hour group buy (when the whole bundle will go for $1-$2.)

If anyone plans to host a group for Indie Gala Mass Effect, please add me.
Got in a group buy. Thanks!

Indie is all the rage, so EA is trying to establish its self as an up-and-coming indie publisher... that's listed on the NASDAQ. ...gotta be 100% buzzword compliant.

So there's an article on Escapist that goes into the cause that the money from this bundle is going to:

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/123374-New-Indie-Gala-Raising-Funds-For-Political-Campaign

TL;DR - Some Canadian guy is using it to fund his political campaign under the platform of bring back the gaming industry that left Vancouver.

He apparently used to work for the EA Vancouver division before EA packed up shop and left so maybe they are letting him put ME2 in his bundle as a consolation prize.
EA also published Shank.
That's why I'm really suprised that they are giving keys to Shank 2 activable on Steam instead of Origin.
That's why I'm really suprised that they are giving keys to Shank 2 activable on Steam instead of Origin.
Klei published shank on steam. EA is a partner publisher, so they could get on xbla and stuff like that.

I enjoyed Zombie Driver so the HD version sort of interests me. The rest, including Mass Effect 2, I don't particularly care about. Will wait on the bonus games.
Klei published shank on steam. EA is a partner publisher, so they could get on xbla and stuff like that.
Ah,you're right. I was sure it was published by EA on Steam, because Shank 2 was included in the famous EA Indie Bundle. I just hadn't seen a reason why EA gave an Origin key to only one game from those two, instead of going balls deep and arranging something like Indie Gala Origin.

I have my doubts about happy hour on this one.

At any rate, is there any reason to hold out for the Digital Deluxe edition of Mass Effect 2?

One could theorize that they choose to give Shank 2 on steam as to not completely alienate the Steam-head crowd, and since it'd already been in HIB7, there was little reason not to.

I think Shank being in the same bundle as ME2 is just a coincidence

Shank (1 and 2) were both in humble bundles and im positive EA didnt do that, i bet Klei did. and probably same here

and now to advertise Klei. How awesome is Klei? Eets? Shank? mark of the Ninja? Dont Starve? are ya kidding me they rule
I have my doubts about happy hour on this one.
That was my first thought as well, but Indie Gala hasn't disappointed as of yet by forgoing a happy hour even in the most unlikely of bundles.

I wouldn't be surprised either way.

The Sim Madness IG bundle never got a HH, but the BTA was down to like $2.60 on the last day.
