Ok, I just had the weirdest dream ever. There's way too much to cover, but this is how it ended: Walter Matheau and myself outside discussing teachers taking on second and third jobs (and him telling me he was considering becoming a teacher) while I eat a giant cadbury creme egg. Jump cut to a bug crawling out of the ground. Cut to norse-looking man with black hair saying "you know this bug?". Jump cut to Naruto sprinting down the hill and turbo-digging.

What. The. fuck.
What I meant was, pressing L and R don't keep it from resuming gameplay by pressing A. Damn, but I wonder if my particular CD is jinxed or something.
Did you walk it under a ladder when you bought it?

You know I've always wondered how people discover codes on their own. Is it just by coincidence that they have both triggers held down and press a, b, x, y left, right while at the start menu, or do they go out and try a bunch of different combinations?

I only rented it, so it's not that big of a deal. I went WWII: Call of Duty and MOH for the Xbox. No wonder they gave Call of Duty a 7; that game bites.

I'm pretty sure they have programs that try out hundreds of combinations a second. I know they used that sort of thing in GTA: San Andreas.

I had a dream of epic proportions. You know one of those dreams where the whole night is like one storyline. My dream was that I was in a post apocolyptic world being chased by some kind of monster but we didn't know what it was. There was other random people there but I was the leader of the group. Hmm, now that I think about I just had a dream that I was on Lost but without the island.

I wouldn't call it epic, but there was a running storyline throughout my night. It started off with helping someone with their homework, and then progressed to an informal banquet, with Walter Matheau in attendance. That part at the end was actually the second time I talked to him. The first time I was busy eating and kind of blew him off.
Hmm the deppression was struck with me the whole day (Page 16 last OTT, break up, yahhhhhhh) but met up with some friends, went to a gig, played system link Rainbow Six 4, fucked around, much better mood now. The thing that really annoyed me is that she never gave a reason and from what I can recall I didn't do anything that would upset her. "Its her loss!!"
hey man, sorry to hear that.

one thing to consider (easier said than done) is that it is a lot of reasons. Now I know nothin about you or your ex but sometimes there's too many other things that keep you from really committing to a relationship.

You probably didn't do anything, shit just happens. And maybe she is lookin for something else in a relationship, not better or worse, just something else. It's a bitch for sure, but what can you do?

I just recently broke up with my girlfriend and it's hard to explain to her why I don't want to be with her (I mean, she loves to watch me play videogames, she's basically perfect in every way) but there's too much shit goin on right now for me and I can't be a boyfriend as well.

sucks, and I feel like a dick but that's just how it goes.

I had one like that, too, but I'm not going to go into the details, although it did involve school, like Sub's. Creepy.

Doesn't everyone have a storyline dream that involves school at least once every few months?
Doesn't everyone have a storyline dream that involves school at least once every few months?
I'm rarely cognizant of my dreams. The only one I can remember involving school somehow included an enormous alligator in the band room and a shotgun in the principal's office.

So, basically you were stuck in Resident Evil, but instead of a police station, you were in school?

Interesting .....
Doesn't everyone have a storyline dream that involves school at least once every few months?
Probably, although I usually can't remember my dreams from the night before unless they contained a significant subject of some sort. The last one I can rememebr aside from last night was, like, a year ago.

Well, the last dream I had I got bit by a spider, got taken to the hospital, had the head doctor their experiment on me, and I ended up dying because they injected with the "cure" too late. I woke up gasping for air and the place where I got bitten and got a shot were hurting on my arm. Go figure :p

Here's the thing...Resident Evil hadn't been released yet when I had this dream. Cue eerie music

I think this is what happened with her. She was busy with school, going to the gym, and working at Burger King. I hardly got to see her but I got an "explanation" last night.

What she said:
"What you wanted from the relationship, I cannot give. You will meet the right person one day... that's just not me. .. How could I be *not saying you ever thought that*... I mean..I can barely keep myself together nowadays... I'm so fucked up... well... I'm just ... I don't know how to explain it... I'm a bitch and you're an awesome guy! I can only ever see us as being friends... that's it... and that's what I hope we can be... if you want a better explanation write me back... I'm sorry."

Barely lasted two months, she was a nerd, just as I was, we got along great, but her sister said she had "too much shit on her platter" so I dunno, I'm probably going to have to move on.

Just got my Ginger Snaps CE from dvdsoon.com.

I don't remember much from the before time, but that may just be a consequence of living an uneventful life.

If a kid were to tell anybody he had that dream nowadays, he probably be arrested. Man, life pre-Columbine was so much more innocent.

I remember sitting in art class freshman year ('98) the day after a school shooting and discussing how we would have done it differently/better.

Not the whole class mind you, just 4 or 5 of us. Still ...

Whenever we have those Lockdown drills ( remember, I live not 45 miles away from Columbine ), those of us who are into guns and tactical stuff always talk about how insufficient the drills are.

New rank, as I'm still messing around with the whole spanish thing. It means "They made me do it" for those too lazy to look it up.

That pretty much covers it. There'll be thirty of us clustered in the corner ( if you're lucky, you can get squished up against a hot girl.  ), trying to keep quite, and three of us will be debating how easy it would be to shoot open the windows in the doors and throw a grenade in or manually unlock the doors.

So I was up til 5 playing D&D... I didn't feel right kicking them out of my house when they really wanted to continue. Also my character is supposed to be hyperactive but I couldn't get into it because a gnome joined our group and it just doesn't work to have 2 hyper characters.

So you have to actually act like your character in D&D? Here I am thinking it was just a simple game like monopoly or scrabble.

Well this gnome guy... way too into into... used the high pitch voice... gestures.... it's annoying as hell. I think I'm going to ask the DM to not let him come back. He also got the group off task alot.

I still have no idea what exactly playing D&D entails. I always imagine it as a board game where you have little figurines moving around. But I'm guessing I'm not even close. I fail as a geek/nerd/dweeb.

I don't even want to know. Being a geek/nerd/dweeb is nothing to aspire to.
It's a tradition at our D&D game that someone must mention casting magic missle against the darkness.
Today has just started off as a super-sub-mediocre day, and there is no possibility of going upwards. How do I know? Some major shit happened with the family... and I feel incredibly dull today spirit-wise. I even tried looking at my avatar and sig and I get no joy. It really sucks...

Well, how's everyone else's day so far?

Both good and bad. See, we had this old shitty '92 Accord LX, that we were looking to seel for cheap ( $500, it never started... ), but when the guy came around to look at it, the damn car started. So my dad sold it to him for the $500 price and is pissed that he let it go for so cheap.

The one time I played D&D I was the guy in the kitchen getting doritos and getting drunk tying to get laid. I just couldn't take it seriously and kept laughing and trying to do stupid stuff. That's probably why it was my only session.
