Yeah, stuff like that happens sometimes. Reminds me of "If Chins Could Kill" (the Bruce Campbell book). He had a shitty car that kept breaking down, always needed thousands of dollars of repairs, and was painted with house paint. He gave it to a handicapped friend of his, and kinda felt bad about doing it. But, he figured that he was at least a little kind because he was giving it away for free. He ran into the friend several years later, and the subject of the car came up. Bruce then said, "Let me guess. The car's fucked up on you so many times and you've had to repair it a lot." The friend says, "No! It's been working like a dream! I love it, and I still can't believe you gave me a free car. Thank you so much!"

The Crazy Japanese Night that I went to last night was extremely fun. I almost won the Naruto 3 tourney, probably because of one or two mistakes in fighter choices. I now hate Shikamaru and the users that teleport with him constantly, that's just cheap as hell. I finished 4th, my roommate 3rd, the Shikamaru teleport freak finished 2nd and the best Naruto 3 player I know finished first. I can't wait until the team tourney happens in a couple of weeks because me and my roommate will do extremely well. Besides Naruto 3, there was Taiko Drum Master, Beatmania, DDR, We Love Katamari (imported), and a few other games that people brought in. The best part was probably that the guy who set up the whole thing sold Pocky! He had the larger boxes and smaller boxes for sale with all sales going into the school's Katrina Fund. There was pizza and pop, but those seemed to run out quickly as there was a lot of people there. Very fun night.

I use Shikamaru solely because he's my favorite character. Temari is my #2 for the same reason. He does feel a little cheap, but there is a slight pause before the teleport so it's fairly defendable.

By the way, who did everyone else besides the "Shikamaru teleport freak" use?

My roommate uses him, as well, but he actually uses combos and mixes it up. He also likes Orochimaru and 3rd Hokage. I use Shino and Gaara. The guy that won can use a lot of characters, but uses Neji the best with probably Sasuke and Shikamaru as close seconds.

After Temari I mix it up pretty well between Orochimaru and Gaara. I never liked the feel of Shino, and I prefer Hinata to Neji.

Did you see the vids from 4 yet? I'm going to have fun with Tayuya. :cool:

Shino's pretty good, but he needs time to be able to play him well. It's great to be able to piss off all 3 other fighters with his down-X special that doesn't even need a full Chakra bar. I'm also good with TenTen, Ino, Lee (not very good in one-on-one), and Kakashi and Gai.

Shikamaru's down-x is good because of the range, and Temari's is great for range + chip.

I like both TenTen and Ino's styles, but they're just too weak. I like using Lee when I'm feeling suicidal, as I always open the gates ASAP. :lol:

I was banned from being Lee whenever a bunch of my friends would play Naruto 3. I would open both gates, and just rape someone with Omote Renge. It was too much fun.
