Thanks for linking that, I've been wondering ever since he stopped posting months ago. +100MPH in VA is a few days in county according to the people I talked to. Guess they were right. I wonder if he did something mildly stupid in court to get 10 days. I remember he made that thread about it and most of the responses were along the lines that he wouldn't ever get any jail time for a speeding ticket...
I figured he would get jail time. Anything 100 mph or over in VA is "Driving with intent to kill". You don't really get off easy for that.
I'm so glad that I finally started listening to the White Stripes.
This is kinda like saying "I'm so glad I started to eat candy. Candy is delicious."

Yes. It is delicious, and I don't know what the hell took you so long.

I hated on them because...I have no fucking clue. I think one of my friends didn't like them so I blindly follow that person's lead. What a terrible, terrible idea.

And candy is delicious.
You think Pronger is humping Lord Stanley's Cup yet?
I hope he dies in a car accident. Preferably with Dany Heatly at the wheel

White Stripes = I Want To Music Puke

I kinda liked that Raconteurs song "Steady As She Goes" because everytime I heard the opening beat I got happy and thought I was about to hear Joe Jackson's "Is She Really Going Out With Him?"

Oh, turns out other people hear a similarity too according to the comments.
Thought it was just me.

argh so apparently i got a case of food poisining last night. my relatives and i took my grandmother out to dinner for her birhday at some fancypants 5-star restaurant just outside of NYC and by the time i got home, i was puking my motherfucking guts out. was barfing so goddamm hard that it was coming out of my nose. dispite my glutton for a massive slab of undercooked beef, i think it's going to be a long time before i have another steak.
Man, CAG is slow today.
Very much so.

It may have not nesscarily been what you ate that night. Food poisoning can take up to three days or so to strike. So start thinking back to what you've been eating the last few days.
I don't think anyone who dry humps Morissey prints should have any say in musical discussions.
QMFT

Thats as bad as a Cure fan talking about music

Spell His Name Correctly Strell!!!!

The Smiths/Morrissey are beyond music.
I don't even discuss him with other forms of music, it's just not fair.

(ps, Cure sucks too (well, for the most part))

it was DEFINATELY from what i ate last night. sometimes you can feel it.

the only stuff i've had to eat in the last 3 days was home made pizza, pizzeria pizza, McD's french fries, pb&j and some chinese food (general tso's chicken)

Well it might have made you sick to your stomach but it takes a little time for the bacteria of food poisoning to get to work. I'm thinking the Chinese food made you sick. Chinese restaurants aren't know for their cleanliness. Hell a couple of them around me got closed for lack of food safety. One was using a car to run over heads of cabbage.

this chinese place is clean. it's actually a really decent restaurant.

and the CDC says that food poisoning comes on between 2 and 48 hours after consumption, with the first symptoms appearing in as little as 30 minutes after eating.

What is it with Chinese places and cleanliness?

I don't know if this is true, but a place around here supposedly got a bad grade one year (due to rat feces, which oddly is ALWAYS the reason for Chinese restaurant poor grades), and the wife of the owner hung herself in the dining room out of shame.

It remained in operation for a while, but apparently that put a damper on sales. It was demolished a few years ago to make way for a CVS, which is now across the street from a Walgreens.

Because I need two places to flavor kid's medicine.

Again, I don't know how much of that is true. I do know at the least it got poor grades one time.

Meh. I went to the city's personnel department, applied for three jobs, went to the library and Blockbuster (Ice Age 2 and Talladega Nights today, the latter of which I've never seen and am looking forward to), and now I'm back and waiting for my dad to come back with Slurpees.

At least Voyager comes on in a few more minutes. :)

To the best of my knowledge, I haven't had any bad incidents with Chinese restaurants yet.

Just outside NYC is my area, what was the place called?

One around here I used to go to for years, I found out it got bad grades, then next time I went by, it looked like it burnt down or was firebombed, cause the entire inside was charred black.

Wow. Looking forward to a Will Farrell movie? Blasphemy!

~~Mini Stalker Update~~

'Cafeteria girl' lets it slip that she has a myspace.
But for the life of me, I've never been able to find her.

And I'm pretty sure her name is ###### ######. Will do more spelling variations when I get home along with a cross-reference of her school now that I've confirmed her age.

Knowing is half the battle.

If you post some information about her I'm sure some people in the OTT wouldn't mind cruising the intarweb for her ;)

And God damn, it's so bloody fucking hot and humid. I was outside for 10 fucking minutes and I'm sweating up a storm.
Wow. Looking forward to a Will Farrell movie? Blasphemy!
Talladega Nights was funny as hell.

Holy Shit. According to Gamespot Va;ve eliminated all grenades from TFC2 except for the Demo-man.

That's interesting, and will completely change the game.
Stranger than Fiction!

No, wait.... That's no good.
I thought it was pretty good, wasn't a will farrell type movie. But he played the role good.
Dling the Shadowrun demo, hopefully it doesn't suck eggs.
It's not bad... not bad at all. It's just limited due to it being online only, only 9 maps.. but other than that, the game's fun as hell once you get all the controls and everything down.
Dling the Shadowrun demo, hopefully it doesn't suck eggs.
I don't want to get the demo cuz I know it will make me want to buy the game. Right now I have enough games on my pallet not to mention a few more games I'll be getting this month.
The Smiths/Morrissey are beyond music.

True statement. There are plenty of people who knock Morrissey, but he's one of just a handful of people of whom it can be said they truly changed pop music and culture. He's up there with Elvis, Dylan, Lennon/McCartney, Bowie, Ena Sharples, etc.

The Smiths were a tower of genius and were hands-down the most significant band of the 1980s. Morrissey's solo career may have waxed and waned through the passage of time, but the man still turns in a few brilliant performances, although the immediacy (and the literacy) of The Smiths may have largely disappeared.

If for no other reason, Morrissey should be respected for remaining absolutely independent for a span of over 20 years.

I've got a ticket to see him on his current tour this summer and am grateful for the opportunity to see him again.
