Placeholder for now until more creativity can be put into this. I'm on my phone, ferchrissakes. In the meantime, I present the legendary Mass Transit, who's seen more of the inside of a wrestling ring than TNAnonymous.

That said, here's a little tidbit from the "dirt sheets".

EV 2.0 faced Fortune in a Ten Man Tag Team Match at tonight's Turning Point pay-per-view, where each member of EV 2.0 put their TNA Wrestling careers on the line. AJ Styles won the match for his team by pinning Sabu, who as a result was fired from the organization.

It had been reported earlier that the wrestling veteran's departure from the organization was legitimate. He was recently informed by company officials that he would cease to be utilized following the pay-per-view event because they had no creative plans for him.

Now, I understand that Sabu is gone from TNA and frankly, I'm okay with that...but if the reasoning for it is that "creative has nothing for him", why in God's name isn't half of the damn TNA roster right behind him on their way out of the door? Sabu's entire presence in TNA this year is that he's got recognizable name value in the EV2 storyline, and I'd argue more so than Rhino (who is also apparently done with TNA) and Stevie Richards (who I admire for being in such great shape, but he's never been more than a mid-card guy anyways). Really, what does "creative" need to have to book Sabu? Unless the feud is over, letting Sabu go is pointless if you're keeping the rest of the faction around as he's no more useless than any of the other EV2 guys - and really, what a slap in the face from Tommy Dreamer if he's the reason the EV2 guys have jobs anyhow.

Perhaps another clue?

In your opinion, what is the best PPV TNA has ever put on?

Turning Point from 2005 was very, very special.

Eric Young did win a match that night.. not a title, though. Hm.

He also said he's at home watching the show but is meeting with officials tomorrow morning. Eric Young lives in Nashville.

I applaud you for the thread topic, JJSP. I hoped the next one would be a TNAnonymous thread. :)

Speaking of TNA, it's early Monday morning. Time to place your bets, gents.

And, I agree, that's a poor reason to fire Sabu. It sounds like an excuse.

While my girlfriend passed out from a long day, I watched Jeff Jarrett and Eddie Guerrero versus Chris Benoit and Steve McMichael. One, as a fan, I'm still disappointed that someone as great as Chris Benoit will be brushed aside in history because of his murderous acts. Two, of course, Guerrero and Benoit held that match together. Noticeably, the match had more focus, and development time (around eight minutes), than most matches in today's WWE and TNA. Matches need time to develop/for wrestlers to tell stories. I think it's telling how I enjoyed a Mongo-Jarrett match more than the Jeff Hardy-Matt Morgan main event on a PPV, or most of the crap on present-day SmackDown.
I heard Brian Kendrick blew out his knee at tonight's PPV....fuck

- edit And Dreamer is bragging about his fucked up arm on Twitter

It was hard to tell whether it was part of the match or not - Williams clipped his knee and Taz was acting like he was putting weight on it and trying to get out of the match. But James Storm also went over to him and put his hand on him seeing if he was okay on his way out.

The conspiracy theorist in me believes that this is a Russo / Bishoff worked-shoot and that this Dixies newest attempt to completely change the face of TNA forever (again)!

Either way, I doubt this will change anything in TNA and it'll be back to business by tomorrow.

I just got out from the meeting with Dixie and a couple of other TNA officials – there’s good and bad news coming out of it, but mostly good I’m pleased to announce. The bad is that unfortunately due to the time restraints we only had time to talk for just under a couple of hours, so we weren’t able to get everything figured out in one day. The good is, though, that the initial talks were positive in that we were all able to discuss the issues in question (TNAnonymous, my contractual future, the current state of TNA, potential signings, last night’s PPV and where we could go from there) openly and honestly. With all due respect to Dixie she conceded that there is definitely scope to improve things on and off-screen, and I will resume talks with her tomorrow morning at 9am. This is something that pleases me personally, but I imagine that some curiosity seekers will be disappointed in the fact that naturally I can’t make a video just yet. I am fully expecting accusations of ‘backing out' from some of the more impatient fans, but unfortunately it can't be any other way.

I’m currently at my hotel in Orlando ahead of the tapings tonight with internet access, so if you have any questions about the meeting I am willing to answer them on Formspring (http://www.formspring.me/TNAnonymous). There’s a ton of questions awaiting me so please don’t be offended if I don’t go into great detail when answering them, as the process at times does become somewhat tedious. I do receive repeated questions a lot so please, if you can, please check to see if I’ve answered them already. I will still answer them openly and honestly and will not irk any issue.

Thank you for your continued patience, and hopefully we all get what we want which is change within TNA. I'm feeling positive at this point.

I really want to believe that things will change in TNA and that they'll get rid of most of the older guys and use it as a place to build up younger guys instead of a haven for released WWE guys. I really, really do.

What is your opinion on Eric Young?
Cares a lot about the business and wants what's best for it.

Over at CheapAssGamer.com, we've dedicated the wrestling discussion thread to you. We appreciate what you're trying to do for the business. http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=277755
I checked that site out yesterday after somebody brought it up. Thank you.

Who posted about this topic to him? Nicely done!

Talked to Dixie? But...Immortal is in charge!

Seriously though, I hope the talks remain positive and that most of the older talent gets the boot.

Yep... just as I expected. Total work.
@JeremyBorash If you could do that then I'd appreciate it, but I've only got 5. Maybe ask Chris?
Dun dun dunnnnnn.

Yep. And all my interest is killed.

I'm thinking about picking up Raw Vs Smackdown 2011 or at least renting it. How's the CAW this year? 2010 had a decent one, and the ability to download CAWs was cool, but I hated the lack of being able to edit move lists and entrance themes. Please tell me that was improved in 2011. Also I heard you have to buy the game new in order to play online, is this true? Does this also count towards downloading CAWs as well? If so, I'll probably wait until the eventual black Friday sale.

TNA is garbage.

But...I slightly like this....but it's not going to convince me to watch TNA. I just like backstage stuff.

And if it's a work....the most I've wasted was time at work (sorry bosses!)
Dun dun dunnnnnn.
Did JB delete the message that that TNAnonymous tweet was a replying to? I don't quite get it.:cry::cry:

I think JB deleted it too, because I didn't see anything he'd written that could be a reply.

Still not as convinced about it being a work as I first was... all the statements about his identity seem like they could be backed up... I really hope this leads to matches like AJ vs. Joe for the title at Bound For Glory.

CAW is good again this year. Best of all, if the creator of a CAW gives permission to edit the CAW, you can edit EVERY aspect. Appearance, moves, entrance, everything. It basically becomes your CAW when you download it.

I can see TNA creative bringing this into the show and making a reveal akin to the"higher power" reveal all those years ago.

I think I figured out who it is.

I just hope JR's reaction isn't appropriate to the actual reveal.

Are you sure that isn't some kind of odd Japanese Halloween mask? If that's the new title belt then that is sad. I thought the World title design was pretty nice personally.

Definitely. The title belt was one of the few shining positives the company had.

I can only assume there's a memo that goes out every morning on suggestions for daily fucking up of the company. Has to be.

I sadly don't even remember what the current belt looks like after they stopped using the NWA belt.If thats the new one then its just plain terrible.Really seems to be Eric Young being that one person but if so its already made me way more interested in him then before with how open he is to this.Hopefully whoever it is though shows their true self.

Please don't tell me they're going to drop the old one in the trash and hold this one up.

Looks more like a Knockout division belt.

To be fair, I think that's the belt that AJ currently has, not the one Hardy has. I have no idea what they're currently calling the one AJ has, and it's still the world/global/planetary title in my mind.

Looks like it belongs on a girl flashing her breasts for beads.

What the heck did they do to Olmec?

Constructive criticism: Cut this shit out, TNA. That is atrocious. I get it, the champion is a 'face' of the company. Good fucking god, who makes these decisions? More importantly, who makes these suggestions?

(OK, this hasn't truly been 'constructive.')

Gotta wonder how much that belt cost to produce. That money could have been put towards TNA's slave labor.

It doesn't look like it's over an existing belt to me - looks like they had a belt made for Jeff then he did some painting over it.

Unfortunately, it's exactly like I thought. Title spoilers.

*Immortal comes out then introduces Jeff Hardy, who cuts a promo. Hulk Hogan comes out and thanks Ric Flair for watching over everything while he was not there. Hogan says he has a surprise for Hardy and lowers a new TNA title belt. They throw the old belt in the garbage.

Wow, what the fuck. A title belt that looks even worse than the "Cena" WWE belt or the Diva's belt. I have to agree that Jeffy designed this mess of a belt and sold the idea to Dixie. :puke:
