Sounds like a day to take off to me.
I got the class (stagecraft) on Tuesday and Thursday, and I missed Tuesday because I accidentally woke up and turned the alarm off and fell back asleep (which I don't remember doing); so I can't miss class both times in one week. I went.
However, we were all sitting Indian style on the stage, listening to the instructor (which made me feel really... forced-artsy)... but I managed to sit off to the side in relation to everyone else, but behind my exgirlfriend. And in a sleepless stroke of brilliance, I started quietly thumping my middle finger and index finger on the stage floor, mimicking the sound of a heartbeat, gradually speeding the beat. I do weird shit like this to bother people... which really bothers them, because they can't tell if I am trying to bother them.
It bothered her, as I saw her
trying to see me out of the corner of her eye to see if it was me or what the Hell I was doing. I did it so nobody could hear it, but because she was so close, she'd be able to hear the vibrations in the floor.
I think I did it because of Edgar Allen Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart" --
guilt.
(Note: I've never read any of Edgar Allen Poe's work, but I am aware of his tales thanks to one of the episodes of Beetlejuice: the Animated Series.)
Sometimes I do stuff, then come up with a reason for why I did it
after or
whilst I do it. My mind is magic like that.
