I didn't get enough sleep in order to recharge my brain chemicals. I'm almost certain my neurons are firing off via-sinus dust.

The right side of my brain hurts.

Are disposable feminine leg razors more... powerful than your average man disposable razor?

I shaved last night with one, and I have nicks that won't seem to heel over. My face feels like slap leather. I'm wondering if I secretly have diabetes.

WOOOOOOOO! Turnover!

We're losing to Ohio State, but there's still time to change that. I'm scared, though...between Fred Phelps picketing "The Laramie Project" and a potential loss to OSU, Ann Arbor may very well not exist this time tomorrow.

I need to get back to posting in the OTT more often.
Yes, but DQ8 is a squeenix game, therefore there is plenty and will be plenty.
Doesn't change the fact that it's way better than either of the other games.
I'm having a major crisis. I can't decide which to get, DQVIII, Alter Code F, or Magna Carter. Dragon Quest has that FFXII demo. Magna Carter has that 100 page art book. But Alter Code F is a remake of one of my favorite RPGs and is the only one of the three I actually want to play. What should I do?
If you wait a week I can tell you how good Alter Code is, although personally I suggest buying Radiata Stories.
It's kind of funny... going through the deal forum right now is like negotiating and emotional minefield.

Click into a thread and see a great deal! WHOOO!
Click into a thread and see someone bragging about being a thief. Lame-ass motherfucker!
Another great deal! WHOOO!
Someone being a whiny bitch because they couldn't utterly rape a store on a questionable deal. Dumbass.
Another great deal! WHOOO!!
Greedy asshole talking about how he just bought all of a mismarked thing, bought a store out of a number of decent deals (right in front of other people wanting the same thing) just so they could list it on ebay or flip it at Gamerush.
Selfish jerkoffs.
Another great deal! WHOOO!
I don't have anywhere to go for deals anymore. :whistle2:(

Well you could go through and just start reporting topics as spam, see how long it takes cheapyD to tell you to stop.

Nah, Shrike would probably yell at me first.

Radiata was damn good, but there were some flaws in it. Like having to pay, as my friend and I put it, the "Fun tax", where the very beginning of the game is meh as they try to teach you everything, but when you finally get free-reign and can recruit people and stuff, it becomes amazingly fun. Plus the story got a little meh as the game wound down, though I've heard that's cause we sided with the humans.

I figure most RPGs have a build in "Fun tax", the advantage of Radiata was that the dialog was at least funny during this period.l I actually prefered the human side, the non-humans have a better story but the allies you get suck.

Yeah...Getting people like Gerald, Elwen, Kain and Nyx made me so far love the human side. The story was just so meh. Though I like getting a certain female back in the non-human story.

Well did you try the bonus dungeon? Probably the best extras I've seen in a game in a while.

honestly I liked the game for the most part because of the combat system and all the characters you go, but I did find the story more enjoyable than a lot of more recent RPGs I've played.
I just realized I listen to really weird music, I've gone from Paul Wall to Lynard Skynard and now to The Prodigy...
It's not really weird. You just like a wide variety of music.

I've listened to about 8 different bands in the last hour.

That's where we wanna go try out next. It sounds fun.

Hah! You should see what in my iTunes folder. That's nothing. :D

I can't decide whether to install CivIII or KOTOR as my next gaming obsession. Decisions, decisions...

Leaning towards KOTOR, but I'm worried about being distracted from it by that stupid college homework and attempts to have a life. CivIII is a safer bet, I guess...even though I really want to play KOTOR.

Yeah, I should probably pick up a good game during my Thanksgiving break. I might breakout KOTOR for Xbox, finish Fable, or just go out to Goodwill and see what I find :D

Looks like this is my 5,000th post.

So, I want to take a minute to say thanks to everyone for making CAG great. Thanks to all my friends for just being yourselves and being there. To my "enemies," thanks for being yourselves. I wouldn't have it any other way.

There's been a lot of good times here for me, and hopefully here's to 5,000 more posts. :)

And now... back to the Munchkins vs. Oompa Loompas battle royale.
That's where we wanna go try out next. It sounds fun.
Well I'd use your human side characters, it's reasonably short but has some really cool boss battles and "goodies" laying around it.

I think I know why I haven't seen a post about the game since this one. :D

They did? *rips up essay*

Seriously though, it's interesting to think what life would be like if Nazis ruled it. Scary, but interesting.
No, I told her we won after the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
Those dirty Krauts. Its a good thing we a-bombed their asses for the win

Several years ago one of my younger sister's friends was over. This friend of hers wasn't exactly the smartest human I'd conversed with, so I wasn't surprised when she answered "Texas" as the winner of the Civil War.

I was thrown a little off gaurd by what happened next, which was what happened after I made clear that I meant the Civil War.

Her eyes narrowed, she frowned a bit, and thought for a few seconds. Suddenly she lit up, grinned widely, and said "OOOOoooh! The Civil War! ....North Texas!"

That's like something you see on T.V.

Remember the Alamo!!!

I've never understood how the hell the youth of this country can be SOOOOOOOOO stupid. I always thought maybe I was being elitist in my setting of the bar as far as expectations of average intelligence levels... but damn.
You're on a roll. ;)
Not really. Jim Belushi deserved credit for that one.

She get's some credit for knowing the winner was in the north

Great. So instead of an F--- we'll give her an F--\/- (That was supposed to be a check-minus)

Let's face it nearly everyone knows Northern Mexico won the civil war when they defeated General Custer at Waterloo.

I thought the civil war was when we finally won our independence from Canada.

Funniest thing that happened at work today: older woman asks my manager for a game (pretty sure it was 50 Cent since everyone and their brother bought it today) for her grandson and he rings it up and tells her 55.xx. She's like "You're serious?" He laughs and says yes. She explains how she just bought him a hundred dollar shirt and now this for his birthday and he'd better appreciate it.
Other funny thing was a gaggle of geek girls (my kind, but to a further extreme) came in and flipped through guides and pointed out hot guys and bishounen.
Lastly a kid (maybe 3) pointed to game covers and told me what it was (money, car). Well that killed five minutes of me looking busy.

But yes, I was saddened by the sheer number of people who bought the 50 Cent game. I was told they sold over 50 copies of it since this morning.

This reminds me of when Superman 64 came out... everyone bought it cause of the hype. Then everyone returned it because of the suck. I can't remember whether it was management directed or not, but all of us sales type people started highly advising against the purchase of the game if someone ever tried. I'm pretty sure it was more of a "I don't wanna deal with the aggravation of the customer returning this" deal than it was a "let's be nice to the customer" deal. :D

Did you guys actual accept an open return because of suckage?

There were two games I talked highly of to a customer today: Diablo 2 (customer was getting Neverwinter Nights), and Wild Arms Alter Code F. Both I have first hand experience with.
If I never played it I told him and then asked the other employee on the floor if he knew more about it than I did. (That was mainly for Call of Duty and Battlefield type games)
