I'm getting a new stereo system put in my car tomorrow!!!! YAY!!!!

got a pioneer deck, a kicker amp, 2 12" kicker subs, and front clarion speakers, all to be installed tomorrow! I'm all giddy inside!

I'm going to work on a new music project...

I decided to call it Female Woman.

Well I just spent $100 on that nintendogs bundle. I'm going to get a lite when that comes out, too. I hate CAG. I go broke trying to be a cheap ass.

Hey, Subby, Tanuki, Karsh, and anyone else who has played both Naruto: GNT 3 and 4:

Since nobody (but subby) has posted in the GNT4 thread in about a month, I figured I'd poll you guys here (as I'm also likely to get more responses. :) ) My question is, how did you feel about GNT4 only using the analog stick? That is, did you miss the use of the d-pad?

And finally, someone comes to their senses.
There's only one movie better than Sword in the Stone, and it's Robin Hood.
Hey, I actually agree with Crash on this one. Robin Hood's awesome.

You could use the d-pad before? I never noticed the difference cause I've always been playing with the analog stick in the GNT games.

Robin Hood is awesome.
Hey, Subby, Tanuki, Karsh, and anyone else who has played both Naruto: GNT 3 and 4:

I didn't get my hori pad until after I was used to the stick anyway.

When I decided to get SC2 for the cube (thanks to Link being a selectable character), I went out and got two of the converters which let me use PS2 dualshocks on the GCN (mostly because I couldn't deal with the button layout).
However, in most of the fighting games I play (Soul Calibur, Tekken, Street Fighter, etc.), I can't use the analog stick because it's doesn't feel as precise to me.

Thus, when I found out that GNT3 allowed for using the d-pad and GNT4 disabled this, I figured I'd get some input from people who logged some serious hours with the games before I decided to blow upwards of $80 for the game and the freeloader. I was ultimately trying to decide whether I should go for GNT3 instead, as in the GNT4 thread, most people didn't seem too impressed with what they added to make GNT4.

Well I use the analog in SC2, so ...

Directional input isn't such a major focus in the GNT series. If you had been used to the d-pad, I'm sure you'd have to adjust your methods/timing, but all in all the stick works very well.

For any major financial decisions, people need to think unconventionally. Unfortunately, most people think that the only way to acquire big money items is a bank loan. It's that exact misconception the books I recommended dispel. People always think they need to use money to get what they want... and that's only partly true. They need to start learning a concept called OPM - other peoples' money. Usually it comes in the form of bank loans but there are other legal ways to acquire such fundage.

Man, how the hell did I get roped into playing in my company's softball league. This is seriously going to cut into my Simpsons rerun watching time

What do you play, catcher? you seem like someone who catches, anyway.
You? Sports?
I know, hard to believe, isn't it. Last time I saw a softball coming at me it got me right in the mouth. ;)

Just what are you implying?
And fuckity fuck fuck, one of my friends just cancelled on the concert tonight.
Dammit ... I don't even want to go myself anymore. Maybe I can find someone to take my ticket ...

God....why does my gf like to watch these total trash shows on VH1 and MTV that are about super spoiled rich brat kids throwing parties?

Jesus. I hated that bullshit in high school and college. I don't need this fucking shit in my living room.

Robin hood fucken sucked. All that udalaly crap. And the ending was horrible. King Richard or whatever the good kings name was, comes back from vacation and sets everything right. Wow
Wow. Ending to Battle Royale was great.

Loved that book. :D
All time fav in books. The movie....errr not so much but its still fun to watch. Try to get ahold of the 2nd movie...its way out there.

There's only one good thing about Vh1, and that's the 'I love the 80's' show and as for Mtv, they just suck cawk. Mtv2 plays 80's music videos however, so they aren't horrible.

The game is MADE for the analog stick and it works damn fine. I've never used the d-pad in the game and saw no reason to touch it at all.

You're just a lost cause. I wouldn't be surprised if you hated Men in Tights since you hate the Robin Hood story.

PS. Dumbo is not the best Disney movie by a wide margin. ;)

Alright, confession time, people...I honestly (and in a totally unironic sense) like "Kickstart My Heart" by Motley Crue. This isn't something I'd normally bring up in polite company, but I'm working on honesty where I can now.

Can't blame you for liking it, but now I want to get GT3 because of you.

I guess it might be due to the smackoff being today (only caught the first hour), but I have been using phrases from the Jungle all day

It was a really good book. A bunch of shit I completely did not expect. Especially the ending.

Spoilers, obviously. I know there's at least one OTT frequenter reading the book now (was it smalien?) so... don't read. :D

I figured Shogo really did kill them. I figured, the way the book had been going, it wasn't too far out there. Once Sakamochi told Shogo about the mics, though, I figured something was up. I just don't quite understand how Shogo was able to go on with his injury (the gunshot wound from Kazuo). Either way, great book. I especially enjoyed the part with Shuya in the lighthouse with the 6 girls. That part was fucking insane, I thought.

So yeah.

I'd like to see the movie, but isn't it only in Japan? I have no way of obtaining it. :[

Am I crazy, or did I read somewhere that (Koushun, was it?) Takami is writing another book? I'd love to read it. Battle royale was fucking great.

Told you the book was great :)

Today was REALLY shitty for me... but I watched Mission Impossible 3 today and it had Simon Peg (Shaun of the dead) and he was great. Funny guy :)

You did. Thanks.

I'm actually not sure who it was the ended up recommending it, but thanks to you guys who did say something about it. :D

Got my new Gamepro today, and it's excited me for NSMB. Can't wait to play it. While Princess Peach was fun... it just made me want more, so it ended up pissing me off since it was so easy.

Bars: If the high school cafeteria had alcohol.

Went to a bar, just now, to meet a couple of friends whom I haven't seen in a while. Walking up to the entrance, I heard a hole-in-the-wall band playing "Love Shack", by the B-52s -- not a good sign.

As soon as I walked in, I was stopped dead in my tracks... as there was nowhere to fucking walk, move or stand. Half-ass glanced around for my friends, didn't see them, turned around and went home.

Now I remember why I hate bars, my town and the locals -- and I've never seen that many whores in one place in my life.

Oh, and when I walked out, a guy who looked like the fat thug on the cover of State of Emergency was staring at me. I got to say the ol', "Like what you see, fuckhead?"; whilst staring at him until he looked away and didn't say a peep.

Thats why you have to open your own bar, and only invite a select few of the cool sluts and your best friends.

If I opened my own bar, it would wind up not being a bar... I don't drink, dart and billiards can fellate the penis, watching sports is boring...

It'd wind up being a video game dungeon where nobody else is invited, and a robotic butler named Digby Higgins 5000 serves frothing glasses of milk.

Well then one must ask the question of why were you even going to the bar in the first place?

Probably because he doesn't need his mom to pick him up from it when he's done there.

And/or sneak him drinks.
