(I tried to find a thread already dedicated to this, but the search didn't turn up anything.)

I'm digging this one. I think a few of the events need some tweaking but overall it moves fast and is a fun show.
I wonder if they'll pare down a few gladiators after the initial season and add new ones/etc as they did in the original. Militia seems like a bit of a dud.
Anyway a few of the events that need tweaking/cut IMO:
Hit & Run (The bridge they run back and forth on while gladiators sling bags at them) - Stupid & Boring.
Hang Tough - Course is too short, plus it could partially be that the gladiators don't really have much more practice then the contestants in these first few contests so they haven't developed any sort of edge. Just seems too easy currently, which I think is at least partially because the course is so short.
Assault - They've completly
ed this one up. I don't know if it's because they are using shitty NERF products or what? I do love the bit where the Gladiator goes flying if the target is hit however.
The Eliminator - Needs to have a time penalty for falling off the barrel roll or the hand bike. Barrel Roll not such a big deal but at this point it's quicker for a contestant to just immediatelly let go of the hand bike and climb up the little ladder across the gap. The overall course also seems possibly too difficult as the contenders all seem to be next to dead by the end, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing that needs to change. The best part of the original version were the paper walls at the end, some with a gladiator waiting to bar the way, some without. They got rid of that which sucks, but I'm assuming it's becuase they thought the risk of injury there was just too high.
Now it could be they are already developing new events/updates for current events and just are holding off on changing anything until the first round or first season is over.
