The new (and mod approved) Sony RLS thread

New contest is up. You get 3000 points for completing it. Just a heads up you don't have to upload a video if you don't want to. You can just go ahead and select submit essay. Only 1 winner however for this contest.

 
What's up!? I received my Blue DS3, and it had a PlayDays sticker on the side of the box so I thought it was from a recent contest. It had my billing information so it was the one I ordered. I have to email the site, because I hit submit essay on the TLoU page, and it just gave me the bonus points. Really strange. Hopefully I'll be able to snag TLoU when it becomes available.

Thats all you get. Just the 3000 points for the contest. Also I ordered a Blue DS3 recently and it came in a box with the Play Days sticker. My guess is they must of had lot of them left over from the promo. There were almost 600 available at one time when they were put in the catalog.

 
My PS All Stars Battle Royale came in other day. Surprisingly they didn't slice the barcode, I thought they were supposed to.
My PS Move starter box wasn't sliced either.

 
Stealth update!

Jak Collection Vita, Best of PSN Vol 1, and Pink DS3. Picked up Jak Vita. No TLOU yet though.

Edit: Those Pink controllers/Jak Vita sold pretty quick.

A few other misc items are on there as well.  Looks like Wonderbook made it up along with Smart As.  Still 100+ Jak Collections available

 
I just happened to check and saw the Candy Pink controller listed but the quantity was zero. I only had a couple hundred points anyway, but I figured I may as well build up a buffer in case it came back in-stock.

Lo-and-behold, about 10 minutes after I tacked on about 3200 points, I refreshed it and it went from 0 to 1. I snagged that bitch up right fast. :razz: An official Dualshock 3 controller for $10.00? It could have been neon yellow for all I care. That's a no-brainer.

EDIT: I wish I wouldn't have missed that Best of PSN collection though. I'll have to put that on my "things to watch closely for" list along with the Uncharted Dual Pack.

Stick with me here, i think what you are looking for is in thre (i tried the whole programming thing and it didn't turn out too well). Unless there is an easier way to get the link to put it into your cart

So I just realized "advocate" is even a thing. (Seriously, could they be any less informative about that? Is it mentioned anywhere on the RLS site?) :whistle2:k

That being said, that Javascript code actually allowed me to add it to my cart. Here's the problem though: I tried out the Javascript code from a couple pages back for God of War: Ascension just to see if it worked properly (in general) and now it's showing an item in my cart...but my cart is empty.

So when I add the Best of PSN set and go to checkout, it takes me to the checkout screen, but my total is $20 because it thinks I have two things in my cart when there's only one. And I have no idea how to empty it. :wall:

EDIT: So at the bottom of the Checkout screen, it says:

Items in your cart are no longer available or you have already ordered them. Please remove these items and submit your order again :

But there's no way for me to do that because I can't remove something that's not showing up in my cart. I may have just f'ed myself here.

That metallic blue controller is so tempting. Also considering the Move bundle and the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus collection.

Is it weird that I want the Vita cradle and the Jak and Daxter collection even though I don't own a Vita?

Cage:  I have been eyeing both of those.  I dont NEED any more controllers, but damnit... i want all the cool colors!!  I am holding off on ICO/Shadow of the Collussus because i heard they are going to be coming to PS+.  I should be able to play them and put that money towards another year of +.

Yea, I shot them a message telling them it's showing my cart as having contents but the cart itself is empty, and asked them if they could please clear it. I'm sure it won't get taken care of until sometime next week (if it doesn't rectify itself) with the holiday weekend and all, but there's nothing I'm particularly worried about snagging between now and then anyway.

So how's this Advocate thing work? From what I've gathered here, you have to have been a member for six months? And took a course each of those months? Is that still up-to-date info?

 
As far as i know that is all that you need.  I have heard some people get in after a very short period of time.  I think they manually go through the list and "Advocate" people.

Shadow Of the Collussus is on sale for $5 this week on the PS Store. I didn't really like Ico but that's just my opinion.

 
Anyone with Advocate mind taking a screenshot of what's all available right now? Looks like the JavaScript code worked for cart adding. My Best of PSN is now "PROCESSED." I'm curious what else is currently being offered in case there's anything I really want while it's still available.

I grabbed the Best of PSN yesterday. sadly they don't include cross play with vita

I did also grab a Jak Vita

I ordered the Best of PSN and the Wonderbook Bundle since it was only $10, and it comes with the Move Bundle. Now I have a Move set for both of the PS3's I own. I missed out on that Pink DS3, but I'll save the points for The Last of Us, Teraway, and Killzone Mercenary. Hopefully by the time PS4 items become available, we'll have more point opportunities by then.

Was the Wonderbook really the bundle? I had it in my shopping cart debating if I should buy it but decided not to. If I knew it was the bundle I would have bought it.

 
When was the last time they had Vita memory cards up? I just got a Vita and I don't want to drop $100 on a card... or $60 to be honest (anything less than a 16GB just feels like a waste of money imo).

Think it was early June when they last did. If you want to get one, keep an eye on the RLS twitter feed so you can refresh like a madman when they update the rewards list, otherwise you won't get one.
