The new (and mod approved) Sony RLS thread

Oh man I live in NY - I really hope I get my copy today. I just got my Platinum trophy for Tales of Xillia last night and was wanting to start Puppeteer instead of diving into my backlog lol

Just got home and sure enough Puppeteer was waiting. Wow I hope all shipping in the future is this fast.

Same here. I came home, and I had a box waiting for me. Now I just need to find time to play everything! Lol

That's against the ToS, and the RLS guys keep track of this thread. Plus it's not like they won't figure out how a non-Advocate suddenly orders an Advocate item.

Thank you! We don't want this thread to be closed down (it has been before due to bad behavior) and we definitely don't want the RLS team to take away this program.

 
Hey I'm pretty new to the rls site been doing some trainings here and there over the summer and didn't realize they really update the catalog because I always saw the same stuff haha. Do they normally update it like weekly or monthly? Also how much was the pulse elites that people were able to get?

Got Puppeteer today, and the disc was loose. Same thing happened when they shipped The Last of Us. Everything looks fine, but hey DHL you gotta (wait for it)

There is no really set schedule on updates. They usually update whenever they feel like it or when they get stuff in.

The best way to be informed on when they are going to update the catalog is to follow these two on twitter.

They usually let you know a few hours before they update later on that day.

The pulse elite headsets cost 3000 points + $20 + $10 shipping.

To purchase headsets and all the other good stuff like controllers, newly released titles and such, you need to be an advocate.

Awesome thanks for the info Spoofy! Looks like I have a couple months till I become an advocate but that's awesome they have that with such nice rewards
 
Got my copy of TLOU super fast. I'm still waiting on Puppeteer, hopefully they update the catalog with more copies soon.

I've been unable to access the site for 2 weeks until someone here gave me a different link. I am pretty pissed off I have missed TLOU and sort of pissed I missed Pupetteer.

 
Anyone ever have issues not receiving their orders? I never got my Bioshock from April 1 and my Last of Us order from Aug 15. Credit card charged, order shows as processed, but never shipped. Emails sent to them seem to be largely ignored and I have to send a few messages before I can get a reply.

 
Try hitting them up on twitter. They seem to respond to tweets faster than emails.

And not receiving an order 6 months later is an awfully long time lol. I never personally had any issues. All of the single games and smaller orders gets delivered right into my locked mailbox but for the bigger orders like headsets and controllers, the carrier they use just leave my packages out in the open in front of my door. I could only imagine its prone to being stolen but thankfully that hasn't happened.

Did you happen to use those javascript links to cheat the items into your shopping cart? Also, I've gotten a couple orders before they even updated my order summary page with the tracking number, do you happen to live in an apartment complex? Perhaps they were delivered but left at the complex's office (mine sometimes were when they didn't fit in my mailbox and I wasn't home at the time). Or, if you're a homeowner, maybe the DHL guy just hucked the package into your backyard somewhere. Or, which would be really awful, perhaps a neighbor ganked the package from your doorstop while you weren't home.

Bioshock? That's crazy... I have only seen first party titles. How do you get 3rd party things?

They have third party games occasionally. Yesterday on Twitter Jens said that GTA V might be coming.

Send them each a DM with your RLS sign in email...IIRC that's how I had to do it after I accidentally removed them.


Just won a year of PS+ as a runner-up in the third quarter sweeps...good through 2016 now. awright
 
Congrats on your win!!  I have been checking my email the last couple of days hoping to see one of those emails from them =D  

and i would LOVE to see GTA V on the site.  That is one of those games that i would love to play but i just cant justify the price when i have so many other things to play.  

 
Received word from my friendly neighborhood Sony rep yesterday that there is a chat for Beyond Two Souls tonight at 9:30 EST. With the demo available now, it should be fun.

 
I also recall seeing Assassin's Creed III up on the catalog at one point in time as well.

As stated before, there's a chance that GTA V might show up in the catalog in the future too.

 
It says we need to enter our e-mail to watch it, but I just logged into the site and then just copy pasted the livestream link and it didn't ask for my e-mail?

 
I also had no email prompt. I was using Chrome and some users said they got the prompt when they logged in through Internet Explorer and Firefox. 

It was a nice chat that ended kind of abruptly. I put in a CAG shoutout and even had some questions asked and answered.

 
It didn't prompt me either, presumably because I was logged in. I opened the chat in a private browsing session and entered my email that way just to be safe.

You are lucky! Yikes! Get off of the site, lol. JK. As far as GTAV being added. I'd buy another copy of it. I'm having a blast with it right now. I have 35,000 points as of right now as well. I didn't receive an email stating I won the recent contest, but I did win a Pulse Elite Headset/MGR and a year of PS+ for doing that one module. Loving this site!

 
Guys I apologize for spamming the crap out of this thread, but lately whenever I take a quiz it freezes at the end and then eventually gives me an additional question with a submit button and then a retake the quiz prompt.

Moose, have you tried changing browsers? I had the same problem with a quiz and tried that.  I go between Firefox and Chrome.

 
It didn't prompt me for my email either maybe because of the puppeteer one it was already there? Also what were the prizes for the Beyond chat I must have missed it.

Actually I do change my browsers and it didn't work still. I signed off and signed back on later and was able to complete it. Sometimes it just happens I guess. Thanks for the response.

Try this next time if you're using Google Chrome. I pressed ctrl + shift + n for a private browser. I was able to complete the module after doing that, and I received my bonus points!

The third party games I remember snagging were Max Payne 3, ACIII, and Bioshock Infinite.
