The Official Craigslist Finds Thread!

I got a E74 xbox 360 with hdmi console only for $55 shipped.
Might not be the greatest deal but considering that he told me the manufacturers date and its still within the 3 year warranty i consider it a great deal :)

and yes the seal is intact still.
Like they just look at the title and think, wow, Xbox 360 - $50, I want that!!! wait what? broken? what do you mean? well, you read the ad didn't you? ....silence....
No, he understood it was broken. First thing I said when he got out of his car was "So you know how to fix these things then?". Plus any person would have to be an idiot to not know it was broken when the title of the posting had "For Repairers" right up there out front.

How does a broken Zelda Triforce edition Game Boy SP for $25 sound? I figure, I saw some used (but working ones) go for $250 on eBay (by a Powerseller - of course!), so I should be able to flip a broken one for over $25 right? Or if I manage to fix it, I could sell it for much more!

I'm going tomorrow to pick all this up for $20.

NES System with 2 controllers and all hookups with:
Super Mario Bros 3
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Side Pocket

Nintendo 64 with 4 controllers and all hookups with:

Sega Genesis with 1 controller and all hookups with:
Miss Pac-Man CIB

2 copies of Sonic the Hedgehog

SNES with 2 controllers and all hookups with:
Super Mario World
Legend of Zelda: aLttP
Donkey Kong Country
Fatal Fury
Madden 96
Home Alone 2
Beethoven - The Ultimate Canine Caper

She said she'd also throw in a Game Genie and 3 code books.

$130
xbox 360 core w/memory card, wires and $95 gift card to gamestop. guy says warranty seal is intact and it works perfectly. I'm tempted idk if i should go for it. I could probably talk him down to 120 because the listing has been up for a long time.only downside is he is about 40 minutes away.:whistle2:k
$35 for a working 360 with hook-ups and memory card is too much for you?
no but i have to pay 130 in cash and i'm not sure if i really need another console.

"Xenogears 125$ (good condition)

I've had this game for a few years and I think it's time to let it go.
It's a pretty rare game which explains this price, I'm willing to trade but I'd like to see some cash.
If you have any questions just send me an email or Call/text me at XXX-XXX-XXXX
I'm Luke by the way."

http://cnj.craigslist.org/tag/1372815630.html

was literally ABOUT to get this for $20 when oh so surprisingly she tells me somebody bid $25 on it. so i say $30. she says put in a final bid and i say idk $40? she says the other guy bid $55 so adios to me. despite the fact that i contacted her first, and we had pretty much set up a time to meet? thats bull. im pretty pissed off now, because i was in such a good mood cuz of the bundle and now i dont get the bundle.

Ok i feel a little better because I think I might have a deal of the Zelda Promotional disk (gamecube) and a gamecube controller for $10 total. wouldn't have known the promotional disk was worth anything if it werent for this thread, so thanks :)

theres a site online with a few for 8 shipped a piece and according to completed ebay listings you can make a good chunk of change off of them

What's it worth? I might try a lowball and see if he bites

I found when I try to sell my things via CL, and several people contact me about a listing, I will sell to whoever wants to pick up first, not whoever contacts me first. If this means dealing with everyone and then cutting everyone else off, too bad. I odn' tknow who intends to actually buy the goods or who will agree to met first so I deal with everyone as if they're the only potential and let it go from there.

I also won't allow people to cherry pick. This isn't a produce section. I put up a listing, you can buy all of it or none of it.

I don't negotiate prices. I'm already selling at a huge loss as it is, I already price under eBay or Amazon values, they can like my price or take a hike.

I've also decided I wn't sell anything under $20. A $5 item isn't worth my time. And they can also come to me to pick it up. There's little point in selling something if most of your profits are going into the gas tank to deliver it to them- which, in my case, many potential buyers can be an hour's drive away and another hour back. I can meet halfway if the distance is too much but otherwise, I'm not blowing profits. This is especially why I won't sell ultra cheap listings. I'd be better off throwing something in the garbage than in making a lengthy car trip to make no money.

Cue whining from vintage collectors about me throwing games in the trash because no one will buy them. If you didn't wnat to buy it, what makes you think I'll just give it to you?

I also top-post my ads frequently. My GB Player with Hori controller is going to get front page spot until it sells. This one.

yea, some douche wanted a super nintendo and games, left a number, offered me 15 bucks for my entire collection and my system, i laughed and hung up on him.

DAMN IT. Had I not been distracted last week I could have gotten this for a total of probably around $25!!! EVERY N64 GAME / SNES GAME LISTED AT $0.50 each, gamecube games were listed in a $50 which i cherry picked these games out of, i am guessing i could have gotten the gamecube games for $10 total WHICH INCLUDES THE RARE GAME NCAA COLLEGE BBALL 2K3 WORTH $35!! And would have offered around $10 for all N64 / SNES games, including Zelda, donkey kong country, and donkey kong country 2. the whole lot of stuff is worth over $200 i believe, so there goes $170 all because of my distractions of school. and the place is only 10 min away. plus the gameboy color package has 2 pokemon games worth $15 each alone, plus the system + crap game = another $15 at least.
N64: Wave Race, Cruisin' World, Mia Hamm Soccer, Madden 2001, Starfox 64 (2 copies), All Star Tennis 99, All Star Baseball 2000, Wayne Gretzky 3D hockey, Castlevania, Zelda, John Madden 64, NBA Jam 2000, Extreme G, WCW Vs. NWO Wrestling, Wailaii Golf, NFL Blitz, NBA JAm 99, & Top Gear Rally

Super NES: NHL Stanley Cup, World Cup USA 94, Fifa International Soccer, Super Mario World, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV, Super Mario All Stars, Off Road, Super Play Action Football, We're Back, Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Country 2

Gamecube: Super Smash Bros Melee, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Party 4, NCAA College Basketball 2K3,

The Gameboy Color & 3 games (Pokemon Red, Pokemon Silver, Gex) is $5.00

Is this a joke?
It's the only college sports game ever made.
Wrong. Its the only college sports game that uses "basketball" in the title instead of Hoops.

You mean the one for gamecube? Supposedly it was produced in limited numbers. Or am I thinking of a different game?

This weekend I had a couple good Craigslist finds that I jumped on immediately.
I found a copy of Valkyrie Profile for $40 in a city about an hour from me and despite the fact that it was posted almost a month ago, I shot him an e-mail in hope for the best. Amazingly enough, he replied saying he was about to put it on eBay, but would sell it to me, shipped, for $45 flat. Needless to say, I took the deal. On the downside, there was no manual included, but for $45, I couldn't pass up a game I've been searching so long for. (and if ANYONE has an extra manual for some reason, I'm willing to pay a decent price for it.)

Other than that, I ended up buying another fellow's entire Megaman action figure collection. I'm a long time fanboy and I always wanted the toys when I was younger, so I figured I'd treat my inner child. He gave me the entire collection for $100, which included close to fifty figures, many which were quite rare and available in very limited stock, even an out of print Bombman figure. I'm incredibly pleased.

I haven't found deals like this on Craigslist in quite some time, so I've been checking all around my area on a near hourly basis, haha.
don't you agree that the bundle listed above would have been amazing for 25 dollars??
you gotta haul ass when you find a good deal

The thing is this guy is about a half hour from me each way, and I don't think my parents would be too pleased to have to drive me to just look at what he's got.

Close to sealing a deal getting 8 DS games for $25 (which include New Super Mario Bros. - worth $20 alone; and the rest of the games are each worth at least $12 with the exception of one). I'll probably take in about $100 on this one, if I actually get the bundle. And then I'll probably make around $60, unless I just resell it on Craigslist (no fees/shipping). Woot.

I just picked up an N64, 2 PS1s, a super nintendo, and a genesis model 2. They each have hookups and a controller. Also some random games and the promise of any more games that they find.

PS3 60gb w/ wireless controller, hdmi cable and power cord. The system is like new no scratches, dings or damage. The video is excellent, the hard drive is good, no over heating problems, Wireless or wired connectivity for online game play. Only issue with the entire console is it does not read media (this is from the 2.0 update that Sony put out), it is a relatively easy fix however I don't have the time to fix the problem as I am moving. It will play for hours on any hard drive downloaded games. On 9/18 this console will be packed and loaded with the rest of my move if no takers. - (Does Not Read Media)

How much should I offer for this one?

$90 for a broken NES, broken Game Boy Color, accessories for both, about 55 NES games (about 15 of them are good), about 21 Game Boy games (mostly pretty bad ones). GO FOR IT?? I would just be reselling everything, so even if I only make 2 bucks per NES and GBC game, that's already $150, then I still have the broken systems.

$100 as you never know if this is the only issue. IF you have to send it to Sony it will be $150 ... so potentially $250 total

EDIT: Probably buying all her video game stuff for $140:
56 NES games
21 GB games
13 N64 games
5 Lynx games (including The Fidelity Ultimate Chess Challenge - worth $25 alone)
(30 Xbox games) - not sure if this is included but they're mostly sports games anyway

broken NES console
broken GB console
Atari Lynx system (I just asked if these 2 last systems are also broken or not...oh great i hope they do work!)
PSOne system
accessories

Worth it for $140? If each game was a buck, I would be paying $20 for 2 broken systems and 2 working ones, plus accessories.
