I told the ass wipe nicely that if he ever comes to his senses and honors his original price that I will be willing to buy the lot from him. Its one thing to lowball a seller but to raise the price to 50% for no reason
. Its
ing Craigslist not eBay.
25 bucks ain't bad.
I've been dealing with a guy for a few days who jumped in price from 150 to 440 and now down to 250.
Had a bunch of NES games a few stand outs complete so I said I'd give him the 150 asking. Changes mind wants 440 now. I write a pretty coherent letter back to him and and for God knows why sent him a spreadsheet I had prebuilt for selling stuff on eBay. I fed in the avg price for each game and showed him what he would end up with if he sold each separately after ebay and paypal fees. It came out to like 200 bucks or something, and I told him I thought 150 was fair for the amount of time he would save especially since he doesn't even have an eBay account.
He told me he would think about it and then came back with 250 saying that he think the values are currently down because of the state of the economy but they will rebound with the market and go back up to be worth well more than the 250.
I just sent him a little note saying games are not investments like gold, silver, etc. and they have no real value that you can bank on and told him good luck.
