Uggh. Ordered NHL 2K7 last night, but now my order is in the infamous Outpost/Fry backorder loop.

Probably will never see the game now.
 
I ordered 50 copies of NBA 2k2. Gotta replace some of the used cases with the official green cases. :)

I think I might use the discs as christmas tree ornaments.

Well I tend not to lie, it's just a habit of mine.

I made 2 orders, and no I didn't just order those. One had 20 and one had 30.

I'm sorry if ordering in bulk for a 45 cent 4 year old game makes me lose respect.

Well see....ordering so damn many took the chances away from other members that had a NEED for them, not as fucking decor. These were great for xbox case replacements....

It's alright, I understand. I have 200+ xbox games and a good majority of them are used with generic black cases.

I'm sure they have hundreds of this game in their warehouse, I probably only took a small bite.

Their shipping is a joke, $8 bucks for 1 game to get shipped ground. Outrageous, if it wasn't for their shipping being so expensive , these would be some killer deals.
 
You know, frys has some amazing deals, but you always take a big chance on scoring those deals. How does this company function. Members cannot log in to track there order (at least I cant) Horroble customer service...its amazing...So I call to see the status of my order since I cant log in...blah blah

...Add 10 games to your cart and watch that shipping price turn in to like 1.50 per game...the more games you add, the more it becomes reasonable, but if you only want a game...well yea, its shitty.

I had to call them to change the shipping method on my order and I asked about when it would ship. From my conversation with the operator, it sounded as if their system doesn't actually do a final inventory check when you place an order. It happens when the order is confirmed, which can be a half hour or more after you place it. This means that when lots of people are ordering things at once, there's a fairly decent chance that things will sell out but their site won't reflect that until later. That is probably why some people are getting things cancelled.
 
I got emails to say both my orders have shipped, but I've only got a tracking ref for one order, the other order still has everytihng listed as "In Progress".

So who knows what's gonna turn up, still if a few get cancelled it ain't the end of the world.
 
Check your totals.. I ordered Guitar Hero, Maximo, DBZ: B2, and Rockstar TT, and they cancelled Maximo for no apparent reason (it still shows up in stock!).

FURTHERMORE, the order total still includes the price of Maximo! WHAT THE fuck!?

Yeah man...you should hear my phone conversastion right now...this is getting bad. Spent sooo much time on the op for these great deals and now it seems like all the work was done for nothing....

fwiw, some people on another forum have mentioned that Frys is pricematching its online store now. ymmv as always, but worth a shot to save on shipping for some.

bomberman is a solid game. If you got FYE you can trade all 4 for a new $40 game.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I called and she pushed the deal through manually because they had 70 still in stock.

However, she said it wasn't a guarantee that I'd be getting it as it may have sold through while I was on the phone.

My guess is that by today you're out of luck.
 
fry's has mlb 2k6 360 for 24.99, if it was for 14.99 like those other deals i'd go for it. i heard it was sub par game, but i need a baseball game on my 360. hopefully the price will go even lower with once baseball is over with
 
Still no email regarding Moto GP - they haven't charged my card.

Still in progress for NHL 2K7, despite getting my shipping email. They did charge my card.
