The Official June CAG 2010 Pick-Ups Thread - Support Line Approved! 1-800-BETS-OFF

I saw FT on gamefaqs complaining about how his parents wouldn't let him have a girl spend the night.

Then his girlfriend moved to atlanta and was bragging about how she had some guy sleep over 4 times.

So he's still the same, just not around here.

Hi, first time posting in a thread like this so I apologize if my pictures are too large. Here's what I picked up thus far in June. I also picked up 3 games from Gamestop's Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale which haven't arrived in the mail yet, Deathsmiles Limited Edition is pre-ordered on Amazon, and I'm hoping my Gamestop will get in some new Xbox 360's this week like they said they would.

1.) Alone in the Dark Inferno - $12 bucks. I really wanted a survival horror game since it's my favorite genre, but this game has annoying controls, and just feels weird for some reason.
2.) Assassins Creed 2 - $15 bucks. Bought this and the first Assassins Creed in a bundle for $30 bucks. Gave the 1st one to my friend.
3.) Resident Evil: Gold Edition - $50...traded in Heavy Rain, and some other game to pay for it.
4.) RE-Remake, and RE3 - $8 bucks total. Found them at a garage sale for $4 bucks a piece :)
5.) Midnight Club LA: Complete Edition - $15 bucks. Bought off a guy on Craigslist.
6.) UFC 2010 - $20 bucks. Had $40 in Amazon credit from previous purchases like Red Dead.
7.) Mushihimesama Futari Ver 1.5 - $73 shipped. Really awesome import shmup title, and it's region free on Xbox 360. Fantastic game, and I HIGHLY recommend it if you like games like Ikaruga, Raiden IV, and Raiden Fighters Aces. :)
8.) Dark Void - $15 bucks shipped brand new from Newegg. Should have waited a few more days, but it's fun enough to warrant my $15. :)
9.) Lost Planet 2 - Traded my friend Super Mario Galaxy, and Punchout Wii for it.
10.) Lost Odyssey - $15 bucks in brand new shape from a guy on Craigslist.
11.) NBA 2K10 Limited Edition w/Locker - $30 bucks. Thank you Amazon! :D

Here's the Blu-Ray's and Red vs Blue DVD's I got. Only Machinima I ever liked to be honest. Season 3 wasn't so great, but every other season has some great moments. I love when Tucker finally gets the sniper rifle :D

1.) RE Apocalypse - $8 bucks shipped off a seller on Amazon.
2.) Hulk (Ed Norton) - $12 bucks on Amazon.
3.) Phantom of the Opera - $10 bucks off a friend.
4.) Halo Legends Steelbook, and Taken - $30 bucks from a fellow CAG :)
5.) Red vs Blue Seasons 1-5 - Various sellers on Amazon ranging from $7-13 bucks each.

Decided I'd take pictures this time around. Sorry for the crappy photo quality. Finally got my Samus statue(the limited one with the lighted stand) after it's been held at the border for about two weeks. :/ It's #79/250. It's funny, though, cause that's the exact same number of my Gravity Suit Samus statue.

As for Clock Tower, I just got it from another CAGer for my copy of Final Fight CD. :)

i think that was meant to be a little more sarcasm and tongue in cheek than anything.. but either way i'd see what you mean. hope to get my eBay pickups in befor eend of month, if not, ill fire away on next months beginning

Yup. I used the manufacturer's coupon and the best buy coupon with no problems.

Traded in wanted, condemned 2, and ghostbusters with the trade 3 get $10 promo for about $25 in GS credit. Went online and used 20PRE and SAVER to get Bioshock 2 an ME2 for around $12 shipped after savings. I had been waiting to get these games at a good deal since they were released and am very happy with the price.

Then GS sends me a "thanks for shopping at GS!" email with a $10 coupon, so I went back and ordered Watchmen which was only $13. I heard it wasn't very good but that was probably from people who payed the ridiculous 1600pts PER EPISODE on live. I played the first one with a buddy the other night and thought it was worth a couple buck for sure.

Finally I went back again for the trade 3 get $10 and traded in Red Faction and two Cabela's games for another $25 credit and ordered Splinter Cell Conviction again using 20PRE and SAVER bringing the out of pocket total to about $8.

Man I love CAG. Before I started paying attention to this site I would have spent the $22 I spent on these four games on just one of them.

Should be getting Lips: Number One Hits and Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box from Goozex. That should do it for the forseeable future -- I am out of Goozex points now, and I usually buy one handheld game for vacation but I will just hold off on playing Layton for the next month.

I don't blame ya, the site is horrible now. Trigger happy mods up the ass.

If it wasn't for like the NFL and PC board I wouldn't even go around there, but it's funny seeing FT around there.

Soooooo I picked up Tactics Ogre for $22 even ;) Granted it's missing the manual, and the case is cracked but considering disc only copies sell for almost triple the price I paid, I'm pretty satisfied. I don't even like SRPG's very much, but appearantly the game is rare?

Also picked up that Barett figure for $15 :)

It's pretty much the game that started SRPGs, so yea, it's rare, and at the same time, supposed to be one of the best. I haven't played it yet, and a cheap copy has eluded me thus far, same with Persona 1.

Riviera is awesome just cause Rie Kugimiya voices one of the chracters (Al from FMA, Shana from Shana, Louise from Zero no Tsukaima, Nagi from Hayate, Toradora... etc).
