I've played like 3-4 levels and while I really want to like this game, I hate it.
The controller has a mind of its own. If I want to do a 180, I flick the controller back and it flies up until I lower the controller at which point it dashes forward. Dashishing makes me feel like I'm going to throw the
ing controller across the room. Pushing the controller forward gently does nothing, so I have to push the controller forward as hard as I can (reasonably while sitting on the couch without throwing it) and it still only dash half the time; the other half it either does a 180 (-_-) or nothing.
The game really pisses me off because it tells me to do one objective and by the time I get to it I've had to hear it scream it at me 15 times because I had to cover the whole map. Then I get there and it tells me to do something else before I'm even done with the first thing and keeps screaming at me to do thing 2 while I'm working on thing 1.
Strafing runs enrage me. As I'm flying up to guys I shoot at them no prob, however, when I try to 180 to hit them again, I dash away from them and the game starts yelling about how much they need my help.
The only successful way I've found to 180 is to flick the controller with my left hand into my right fist as I punch it. Its the only
ing way to get it to respond. Its maddening.
The controller really takes input as mere suggestion and does what ever the hell it wants to anyways.
I just failed the big worm boss because it ate everything. I was flying behind it shooting the shit out of it doing no damage and it ate a manta. Then I spent 3 minutes mashing X to catch up to it and by the time I got close to it, it ate another manta. Then I finally hit it in the side and damaged it and it reared up and tried to eat another manta. The game spawned me on an opposing side of a manta to the worm as it was charging. I couldn't shoot through the manta and I couldn't manuver around it in time to stop it from getting eaten.
Then theres allies and enemies being indestinguishable.
Why do attacks only work randomly? If I lock onto a dragon (if I'm allowed to, which also seems to be totally
ing random) and hit O or /\ one of four things seems to happen: I dismount the other guy, I charge them and start dragon melee, I have to line up and shake the controller to ram them or absolutely nothing happens.
The ramming thing is pretty stupid too. The CPU rams me just as I get level with them. Theres no time for me to swing the controller at them as I'm matching their height.
Is there any way to control the dismounting? It seems like its just a random pick from 3-4 options.
Camera control sucks too.
