The fact that one one is saying anything at all about it, the delay, and the current track record for Silent Hill games makes it seem like a disaster waiting to happen.
Well, I was extremely skeptical about this game initially as well. It sounded to me like they had taken a different game and slapped a Silent Hill coat of paint on it.
That might still be the case, but my interest jumped up quite a few notches when I heard who was developing it. WayForward is developing this game, and I freaking love WayForward. They've made so many great games over the past six-seven years that I pretty much give them a free pass at this point. It's also worth noting that WayForward has a stellar track record for taking other peoples' IP and working wonders with it. They've done it with A Boy and His Blob, Contra, Double Dragon, and Bloodrayne. I don't see any reason why they can't do the same with Silent Hill.
Now that I have a Vita, I'm seriously considering picking up Book of Memories.
