No, it's perfectly fair. It's free, it's first come first serve. There is no ticket system, there is no waiting in line. If you happen to be around when there are codes posted, then awesome. If not, just keep waiting. What's the worst that will happen? You won't get a free 48 hour xbox live code? You could always buy it, or try PC or PS3 gaming.

I dislike lurkers as well, but my point remains the same. If you feel there is no community because you can't free xbox live codes, then I can't help you.

Does anybody have a trial code for me?.. I try and post deals I find and get also, but Ive been out of work for two months and start back monday. I got the Noble map pack with points I had and my 1 month card expired at midnight and I could not even get to play it once. Thanks

My original statement was that this thread is completely fair, while fates' retort was lurkers do not equal a community. He was trying to argue a completely different point than I. I redirected the conversation back to my original point, and then replied to you that because of your join date, I'm led to believe you signed up just for the xbox live codes. The fact that your 4 previous (and only) posts are in the xbox live code threads back that theory up.
With that in mind, I was pointing out that when lurkers join objectively (that is in this case, for xbox live codes) they tend to not stick around, hence adding nothing to the community.
If your point is that it doesn't matter when you signed up, and some how that is valid over mine, then you have a weak argument.

Now read again man. Reading comprehension is a must. You are not realizing that what you are saying is contributing to my point. Signing up or leaving is your prerogative, but like I said one post above, you made little change to "the community" in which you and fate were originally arguing. You came, took the codes, and left. If you didn't make an account, took the codes, and left; the impact would have been the same to the "community".

Hey, the more the merrier! I do infact hope lurkers convert into regular users! I'm not sure if that point was lost in my previous posts. I do not have a vendetta against lurkers at all, if anything, it's the people that are blaming lurkers for their lack of success in this thread is what's bothering me.

no but why would someone bother himself and order them. wouldnt he just post them in any order. besides i heard that some people use algorithms to make codes from existing one's "i dont know how they do it but thats what i heard". Another thing, do you mean microsoft itself reactivates the codes?
