Yeah, I'll probably call them up first. It's the only place near where I'll be staying that'll have it in, though, so I'd like to get there early and make sure I nab one.

In retrospect, I should've had my Amazon Deluxe Edition sent to the place I'm staying. Oh well.

Never got into HP, LOTR, or The Matrix. Just can't get into them. I rather read a good book, or a good comic book.

fuckin' i got my roommate info. for freshman housing at college and he doesn't have a facebook, nor does it seem that he checks his college e-mail, mothafucka's a luddite!!

At the time being I'm stuck with an entertainment center that will only allow me about 32" of room (wide not screen size) and that refurb was 37". If it werent for that I definitely would've went for it.

Once I get my own house set up it wont even be a concern as I'll junk that bitch. But right now space is very tight. I'm basically living in a 15 x 15 room which also doubles as my bedroom.

And back to the TV size thing. A good rule of thumb is that your TV should be large enough that you can comfortably play a game of Scrabble (at a table placed in the same spot as your chair) by the light of it alone.

I know that CRT's give some of the best looking picture for the price, though I know I've heard about geometry problems with the Samsung SlimFits.

That Westy isn't a bad set, from the specs. Plus, it'll be easier to move around and deal with when you're moving, being an LCD. 2 HDMI + 2 component are good to have.

Between the two, I'd get the Westy without question. Are you only shopping @ Best Buy, or are you open to other vendors, as well as Internet purchases?
