Yeah, I say we try to set up a thing like Yukine said, every Tuesday night at like 9pm or so, Monday would also work really well (atleast for me).

I had a little lag last night at a couple of times, but generally it wasnt so bad.
 
i havent got it yet, really want to, but its definitly requires alot of people actually showing up, and then accepting your friend request
 
As Gears of War Wednesday and RSix:Vegas Thursdays have died off, either one of those nights would be perfect for a set TF2 night. Any preferences? I can do a CAG Gaming Group thread or Scorch/someone else really into the game can. I'm open to whatever, but I'd love to see that void filled by TF2, by far my favorite multiplayer 360 game.
 
Sounds good, considering you have previous experience with the gaming groups I say you should do it, but we'll have to see what the others think.
 
Actually, any night is okay for me. As long as the TiVo is set to record all my shows on Thursday. I try to play a little each night, anyways.

sounds great, what time? I hosted last tuesday at 6:00 but didn't get enough CAGS to fill the room and had to open it up to the pub.

what size game? can we invite non-CAGs?
 
id play thursdays when i can but my schedule is rough (school, work, girlfriend) so i wont make it everytime. Love to play with some cheapasses.

I can't wait to start playing this, but I can't since my 360 is over at the repairs... Stupid Disc Drive isn't driving anymore atm... at least it is still under warranty... But yeah add me whenever you can... Played TFC mostly thru these years as Sniper/Engineer mostly. Although I'll miss the grenade spammage, I hope TF2 is fun. Besides... Only The Orange Box has a good game with a story (sorry MC but Gordon still rules), and a highly addictive multiplayer, from what I've been reading so far.

This game is too laggy to be fun and people don't communicate enough during games. Grrr.... That being said, if any CAGs want to play, send me an invite. I hate playing with douchey bros.
 
I have had some good teammates in this game, but I really dislike how every game ends because the host drops out.
 
im sure that doesnt really apply for the 360 version. and about the stabbing, i never stabbed anyone from the front.

Yeah, I only have the PC version but I'm positive that the update isn't indicative of what the 360 has coming.
 
I'm looking for the full patch notes. For instance, the demoman's grenade launcher clip has been cut to 4 grenades (from 6). I wonder what other changes have been made

I noticed this last night too. Which made me happy, as most people were playing demoman and spamming grenades all over the map way too much for my liking.

As for the stabbing, I played a spy and killed an engineer by stabing him in the face last night. Frontal stabing has always worked, it just usually takes 2-3 stabs instead of 1.
 
Interesting, I don't play spy too often so I wouldn't know.

That really sucks about Demoman getting nerfed, but I guess the developers felt it needed to be balanced.

Frontal (or side) stabbing does normal knife damage of 30-50. Backstabbing is an instant kill.
 
I played a 16 player game, and while it was still a little laggy it was definitely an improvment.

Might just be my imagination though.
 
Is there anyway to get into a game with some of you guys? Whenever I play there seems to be no teamwork involved. All my live friends are still fixated on Halo 3. It would be nice to work with some proper villains.

we've talked about a TF2 nite but haven't come up with anything official yet.

I'll probably run another game this tuesday nite at 6:00 EST 9:00 PST if your interested. can't guanrantee how many CAGs will show up but I had fun last time.
 
Has anybody been able to get the sentry gun achievement? I set up a sentry in a match yesterday and got 17 kills with it before it was destroyed and I didn't get the achievement because all you need is ten to get it.

Don't you mean 6:00 pst, 9:00 est? That makes more sense, plus I could make that time. :)

Yup, after every round it will unlock an achievement if you meet the qualifications for it.

I got 13 kills with one of my sentry guns and got the achievement at the end of the round.

Maybe it's with some achievements. I got my revenge and sniper achievement yesterday and they showed up in game.

did your sentry guns kill counter say 17? It seems like assists don't count as sentry kills. so if you kept sharing kills with people thats the reason.

So I'll open a game tomorrow (Tuesday) at 6:00 PST and invite any CAGs who are on my friends list and are online.


If you want to play with more CAGs please shoot me a friend invite if I'm not already on your list. It seems a lot of CAGs are interested in getting together/being in a clan, and this is the first step!

After I thought about it this must have been the case as me and my teammates at the time had sentry guns setup all over the same area.

Now that I think about it, I've gotten achievements as they unlocked as well. So I don't know, I guess it's different depending on the achievement.

I should be able to play tonight, might not be exactly at 9pm, but around 9-930 EST... For all those CAGs joining, if you want to try to get the "Play with 7 friends" achievment, everyone that is playing needs to send friends request to the other people and they need to accept it.

Doc, before you start one game, you should mention that since in the lobby before the game starts is the best time for everyone to organize that.

I'm in. Will be getting home from the gym around 9:00 EST and will be ready to play.

Edited: I am guessing you meant 9:00 EST 6:00 PST, which works out better anyway.
