Yeah, same here.
Didn't know there Gamespy was still around.

I think I used to play R6 on their servers back in middle school.
1.) How do you know what score it deserves?

2.) GameSpy still exists?

The Lost Odyssey commercials, with Jefferson Airplane blasting in the background, make me want to get the game.

The subconscious power of ads is amazing.
1) Because so far it's receiving ratings in the B to B+ range, while stupid GameSpy gave it a fucking 50%.

2) Yes.

Well, part of my point was: Who cares what GameSpy says?

My roommates are weird. I've bought the dishwasher detergent the last 2 times we've needed it. When we ran out today, one of them put a sticky note on it saying "We need more" and put the empty box by my door.

So I wrote "Then buy some" and put it back by his door.

I'm so bad yet compelled to keep playing Halo on XBL.

And that ain't weird wow. They just lazy and cheap is all.

You should have bought the dishwasher detergent and put some in his food. And when he's in the hospital you can laugh at him and tell him he had it coming.

Can anyone (Brak maybe) explain the ending of No Country For Old Men? Specifically
the significance of Chigurh's scene where he gets hit and walks away and Tommy Lee Jone's explanation of his dream.
No, it's not.
You're incorrect. That thing can kill decepticons!
wait...you cant save on aegis wing?
Negative, Ghost Rider.

I would, except I live where I work, and that would get me fired.

I have to see it again once it comes out on DVD...

But,
The dream was symbolism for the old generation being unable to leave a path for the younger generations to follow -- just imagine how impossible it would be to follow the torch of a man, long gone on horseback, through the night.

I'd talk about that some more, but I'm at work. :'[ You can just work from that and the title of the story.

That final scene showed his character lamenting over that unfortunate symbolism - and relating to it.

The car accident is harder for me to decipher... One thing I like is that he told the kids "You didn't see me." That can be taken as him telling the kids that they didn't see him, in case the cops ask... but it can also be seen as Chigurh bending the rules of his own sociopathic laws, where if anyone sees him, they're as good as dead. (I believe Harrelson made mention to something of that nature.)

I believe that Chigurh got away. I think the car accident both accentuated the fact that he was a "ghost" (or a force of nature; like a shark), being able to escape like that, but also human -- that he, too, was susceptible to chance (-> his coin
I'd give my thoughts on the ending to No Country but I know my opinions are worthless here.
Feel free .. Brak's ideas sounded pretty solid though.
Doh, my Reward Zone Cert expires the week before GTA IV comes out. I guess I'll have to get Bully with it.
Can't you use it to pre-order it?

I don't really mind Oddball or Crazy King - hell I like Crazy King and it's usually pretty quick - every now and then but about 80% of people seem to veto them every time. :whistle2:(

Good question, I'll find that out.

I also have to buy a book on Amazon for a class, and I have some gift certificates from there, so I wanna buy a game or something to get free shipping... but can't find anything good for the cheap.

Finally I'm gonna go buy myself DMC4.

Nights plan:
get something quick and easy for dinner, kick back relax, grab some drinks and play DMC4. Sounds better than going to the gym to me.
Tell me your secrets.
Nothing special unfortunately. When we first had the electric service turned on there was a $100 deposit we had to pay, and finally after two years it was refunded. :)
What kind did ya get?

I'm really looking forward to getting one when my gf and I move after graduation.
IDK, I was pretty pyched when I got my 32inch a year and a half ago, but it's really lost it's luster on me. Sure, some of that is the $900 hole in my finances, but still I got really bored with the picture.

After playing NGS in full 1080p on this 42" LCD (widescreen), if it was taken away from me, I'd have to start punching babies until it was returned.

since New Year's Day i've had this persistent red spot on my eyeball. i've been going to the optometrist for it since Jan 10h and it's only gotten a little bit better, so he said i need to go see my regular doctor. i went today and he sent me to the opthalmologist, who's sending me for blood tests. they think i either have lyme disease or an autoimmune disease :(

Perhaps that 10inches made all the difference.

That sucks, Chika. I'm sure everything will work out OK. I have a friend who had almost the same thing (a spot, but it was red, then white)...turned out to be a detached retina.
