I don't think it'll hurt you, seanr1221, but if one of you had to deactivate the account for whatever reason I don't think you'll be able to reactivate it. pretty lame and I hope my slim never takes a shit. :)
I wish Patton would drop in price. I don't really have any interest in owning Rescue Dawn or Behind Enemy Lines, so the collection is out. I know that movie has a lot of DNR and people tend to shit on it, but it looks really good to me and it is something I would love to add to my collection.
I agree, except for the part where you shit on Rescue Dawn. I hate DNR as much as the next guy, but I thought Patton was a big upgrade over the DVD. I watched Rescue Dawn on DVD before I knew it was out on Blu-ray but I did think to myself that it would look great in HD because of the emphasis on the cinematography. Not sure why they included Behind Enemy Lines in that bundle. I might be being unfair since I've only seen a tiny part of it but that looked like some corny Hollywood garbage.

Also, IIRC, Raging Bull came out in February and Ronin just came out a couple of months ago.

Lazy people in charge creating digital transfers of movies use an algorithm to remove grain and dirt from the film to clean it up and that ends up removing a lot of detail on the transfer if they don't tune it correctly.

Duuude. The White Castle on Fordham Rd in the Bronx is "now serving rice and beans"... wtf?! Losing too much business to "Cuchifritos" and "El Molino Rojo" on Grand Concourse I guess.
He's very conservative and absolutely not a neocon.
Ron Paul is a conservative, Nugent is a neocon. I mean shit, he was a Bush supporter.

Nugent is pretty dead set against any entitlement program from his comments that I've seen him make on P.I. w/ BM and other interviews (a prerequisite for a neocon; who are the more socially liberal conservatives). He is certainly is on bored with the "policy of preemption," but most conservatives were.

I thought Paul was more libertarian less traditional conservative.

There's a very thin line between libertarianism and what conservatism is supposed to be.

this. he is totally against welfare and social services.

I absolutely agree. Outside of legalization/decriminalization of drugs and a more isolationist foreign policy. With the latter being the key difference in Paul's case. I think if most ideological conservatives took a hard look at why they believe what they believe they would come to more of a libertarian way of thinking. (But I am biased.)

Yes, but Nugent believes the government should be involved in regulating social issues, which is against what conservatism is supposed to be. He also believes in maintaining the American empire, which is what makes him a neocon.

Those singing dudes in Assassin's Creed II are hella annoying. I wonder if anything other than a warning happens if I continue to kill them when they get in my way.

After looking at Blu comparisons for Ronin and The Last Waltz I am just going to stick with my DVDs and worry about upgrading some other time...disappointing.
Lemme have that lens cleaner when you're done with it, crack_fiend.
If it works, why not. Only ran me $6, as opposed to the $30 that Kmart wanted.
Do those Logitech remotes work with dish network and direct TV receivers?
If it's IR, it'll work with the harmony. I don't remember the other kind of remote (other than bluetooth/IR), but it's supported by some higher models of harmonies. Bluetooth isn't supported, afaik, other than a super expensive dongle for the PS3.

Edit: RF. The 890 and 895 do it.

Nothing really it's just my DVD looks fine upscaled at the moment so there is no need to make the jump to Blu even if it is for $9. I will get it later since I am sure it will be cheap again down the line or maybe a more complete edition.

Saw 2012, sort of against my will. It was palatable until the last 45 or so where I was just dying to get out and go eat.

Ronin is one of those old holdover movies from when MGM was first doing blu ray movies. I am almost positive that it is the same release that was scheduled for like 06 and was the one that was available for import. It is only a 25 gig disc and most times that means the movie looks like absolute shit.

Pretty much any time something gets delayed it is because it looks like garbage.

H:shock:LEEEEE SHIT @ Cody, Adon, and Guy in SuperSFIV
Help me out here guys...Soul Reaver or Dino Crisis?
Dino Crisis is on PSN?
