Sounds like a fun one. I'm actually hoping to pitch a story where I'm homeless for a day and tell the story of the typical homeless experience. Probably won't happen, but it'd be interesting.
An Experiment in Misery. Stephen Crane. Seek it out and read it. Or just buy the book "The Art of Fact." Really really good literary journalism.
No...actually, $15 is ok for a shirt. I have a few of those too. $25 is way too much.

I came in here to post about how you tools love to buy overpriced novelty t-shirts, but i've decided i'm too sick to do that, and i'll probably just go home early so I can lay in bed with my laptop and post about how you tools love to buy overpriced novelty t-shirts.
Does not compute. :whistle2:k

I'll try to remember that. Thanks, mang.
Wait. Where did you see that thing for $15? I went to threadless.
Which is where that screencap is from.
Ah, well the ones I looked at were $25. I wasn't condeming an entire site, just their $25 shirts.

Is it free shipping?
Those are Threadless Select, which ARE way overpriced.

Oh, I see the first tee that's new today is $25. Most of their shirts are $15 (And that haiku shirt is $12).

I think shipping is 3 or 4 bucks. I'm not sure, it's been a while since I ordered.

Just tried to checkout, it was about $5 with both 1 and 2 shirts. So the more you order the less it costs overall as far as shipping goes.

As opposed to TRU online, which has the most ridiculous shipping I've ever seen from an online retailer.

I can't remember the last shirt I bought for under $30.

Or pants/shorts under $40.

Get'cha game together, playas.

Ok, so you're paying between $14-$18 per shirt. That's not horrible, but i'm just wicked stingy. Espc. when it comes to clothes. Cause' really, who am I trying to impress? No one.

I hate that mentality. You're just letting clothes companies take advantage of your vanity. Like having a $40 pair of pants is going to make you a better person. It just makes you a chump with $40 less in your wallet.

Werd. It's like putting a $10,000 paint job on a Ford Tempo.

I concur with this statement. There's no reason to buy expensive clothes, and more often than not, you end up looking like a tool.

See: Wiggers with half-cocked wide-brimmed baseball caps that cost more than several videogames.

To combat this consumerist fraggotry:

I want an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle! :D

You'll shoot yer eye out, kid.

:(

You're right.

Why buy Halo 3 and an Xbox 360? I won't buy it! I can't let game companies take advantage of my vanity!

I can buy Goldeneye and an N64 for much less.

;)

EDIT: It shouldn't be something for you to hate. And that kind of money is not exactly extravagant.

Not the same. You don't need Halo 3, but you need clothes. Just not overpriced crap. Watch out, you might just become:

Some of my clothes is pretty expensive, but it's not trashy/flashy clothes, they're fine garments.

Mostly the things made from 4-ply cashmere, and real leather, etc.

And now for something completely different.

NBC has Heroes, The Office, My name is Earl, Bionic Woman, Chuck... When did NBC become Nerd TV?

Also, I learned a greta new german word today.
You know what I really want?

Some suede pants.
Mmmm.

i've got a pair. they're tan and they lace up in the front. they've got light blue flowers embroidered around the waist.
How cute! I like lace up shirts a lot!

However, they sound too flashy for me.
I like plain clothes.

I'm not surprised you would like shirts with lace on them.
I'm not surprised you would like shirts with lace on them.
They don't have lace, they just lace up.

Very important difference.

I guess like a pirate shirt.

I'm so glad you said this. It would have been a crime against humanity if nobody said it.
The dad was undeniably the best character in the entire movie.

AH-A: IT'S A CLINKEEEERRRRRRR

Also, I got this on a politcal compass test. What political party does that put me in? :whistle2:s

Sounds like you should put Noam Chomsky or Gore Vidal on your christmas list.

This thread has inspired me to go buy the Christmas Story Blu-Ray.

I was goth. My vinyl and leather outfit budget was embarrassing.

Remember the "Puffy Shirt" ep of Sienfeld? I had 2 in black...

EDIT: Shrike, when I get the games in hand, I'll let you know.
