Thought this was pertinent.
Sounds like you should put Noam Chomsky or Gore Vidal on your christmas list.

This thread has inspired me to go buy the Christmas Story Blu-Ray.
The former I've meant to get around to reading. I honestly didn't think I was that libertarian, tbh.
It's about fail and lame insults?

This OTT sucks.

Go watch A Christmas Story and understand that you have no testicles until you do. You might think they are there, but that is only because I am a harsh deity, willing to fool you into thinking false things true.
The former I've meant to get around to reading. I honestly didn't think I was that libertarian, tbh.
I think most ex-Republican types fall in this vain. They've come to no longer accept big-government, big-spending, socially-regressive Republican ideology dominating the party. Any good ol' Barry Goldwater style Republican should hate what Republicans call themselves these days even more than they hate Democrats.

As for Chomsky, his brilliance is inversely related to his charisma. If you pick up some of his stuff ("The Chomsky Reader" is a good start), put a pot of coffee on.
I didn't think the Halo 3 people could pull the "graphics aren't everything" card out in a discussion.
Why? Cause the graphics are awesome?
I knew it! Scut Farkus was in Titus:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0911934/
Huh. You didn't know that?

BTW: Don't bring up Titus around me. I have serious-ass Fox issues since they cancelled that and left the God-awful Bernie Mac on.

Between that, Action, Firefly and Brimstone - I stopped watching any of their shows (Family Guy included, I catch that on [AS]) because everytime I got hooked on a show, it was a death knell.

I'm surprised Titus lasted as long as it did, since I was a fan. Oh yeah...it had higher rating than Bernie Mac too...

I think my meds wore off...

Well, my thoughts regarding libertarianism were mostly centered around the fact that they tend to have the hots for businesses, rather than government... and honestly while I don't really like one or the other, I still trust corporations less than I do the government, so I figured that would put me at odds with most libertarians.

Plus, I dig national healthcare, which is generally referred to as "big government". I'm so confused. :(

Also: I don't think the dicks at CC know that when phones start ringing, you pick them up.
I had to wait, and I shit you not, 2 minutes for them to pick up the line.

You mentioned Fox shows that are cancelled before their prime and you fail to mention Futurama or Arrested Development?! And I was never a big fan of Titus but I hated Bernie Mac even more .. I cant understand a word that guy says other than "Amurka!".

Okay, I'm going to order three Threadless tees. First person to post their referral link thing and tell me if there's anything special I need to do to get it to count for them wins. Meaning I buy 'em through your link. Since I don't have a link. And I don't think I'd be allowed to buy them under my own link anyway.

I thought I have made my thoughts on Futurama known in the past, but I'll recap:

Futurama > The Simpsons

In fact, I'll take it one step farther and say:

Futurama > Everything else

I never watched AD. I know everyone seems to think it is somewhat neat, but I had given up by that point...
Here's quote I was looking at:
I can allay that person's fear because the graphics in the beta alone were better than Gears of War's graphics. And supposedly the final version of the game's graphics are much improved compared to the beta.

You need to watch Arrested Development. I will send you all three seasons on DVD if I have to. That show is too great to miss.

I think it is more towards the single player campaign is supposed to look better, compared to the online.

I wasn't looking for an answers, I just found it funny that this guy's freaking out about the graphics score of both games' reviews.

Alright, ordered.

I got this, this, and this.

That 13 Club thing looks like a good deal, but you get one tee a month and that's it. So it'd suck if you don't like the tee. You do also get a $30 gift certificate, though.
hey Plume, I emailed Pixie. If you hear about it, you're more than welcome to.
Huh?
I don't think she checked her email yet, So I know nothink about nothink.

Okay folks...off to the ol' Coal Belt...

Anagrams are fun!

Speaking of t shirts, in the latest issue of PSM they have iron on transfers where you can make your own Assassin's Creed shirts.

*checks latest PSM*

So they do.

I guess I'll have to do that for the hell of it.
Why is anyone even tripping about Halo 3 review scores?

As if a 3.5 would turn anybody off from buying it.

Who cares?
Because they're on the internet and everybody's opinion is automatically wrong.
Because they're on the internet and everybody's opinion is automatically wrong.
Apparently.

If that poor guy gets fired for being honest... wow?

Everybody could literally score the game with 2s everywhere and it still wouldnt change the fact that the game is going to sell ridiculous numbers and sell a lot of consoles.

Assassin's Creed really does need a better logo, though. The one they have is pretty non descript.
Someone tell me what this OTT is about.

*flame shields up*
i'll make an exception, since you've not been brought up with the entire christian materialistic winter holiday hooplah.

there's an early 80's movie called A Christmas Story. In which, the main character, Ralphie, wants a bbgun for christmas, but everyone keeps telling him "don't be rediculous, you'll shoot your eye out kid!". He has a loser little brother, asshole father (who turns out to not be an asshole), and a frazzled mother bordering on a mental breakdown. The story starts shortly before Christmas. Shenanigans insue. His father wins "a major award" from a magazine which turns out to be
christmas-story-leg-lamp.jpg
, which the father proudly displays in the front window. More shenanigans insue. Christmas comes. Ralphie gets his bbgun. More shenanigans insue. They end up eating chinese food for christmas. the end. It's basically one of those things that everyone has seen ad nauseum.

Listen here "Chika", I don't much care for your summary of A Christmas Story so I will do a better one:

A Christmas Story bent your mother over and had his way with her last night. And she loved it. The end.
