Incubus puts on a good show. My girl friend was able to go backstage and meet the band and take pictures with Brandon Boyd the other day at the San Francisco show.
I'll be seeing them in March.

Can't fucking wait.

Tonight though...INCUBUS! :)
Hell, yeah.

I wonder if they still display that weird Burt Reynold's man-head on their set.
Nah, he's still retreading the same territory he's been handling for years now. To have a shot at villain '07, he's going to have to go bigger. Like flying across the country punching other CAGs in the face.

That might also get him hero '07, though.
Jimmie isn't villian material, mainly because it's only posting-related on CAG. Doesn't involve things like JuanDDixon, where he's screwed over CAGs for money or games. Though, if Jimmie did do the in-home punch-delivery service in '07, that might change things.

I know somebody would end up being Hero '07 if Jimmie did the in-home punch thing. Whoever ended up being his last stop... (IKIK, maybe?) ;)

Jimmie would have my vote for CAG Hero of the Year if he did the in-home punch deliveries. (Although something tells me his weapon of choice would be a sock full of quarters, instead.)
$30 for The Roots and Lupe Fiasco is a steal. If you have the opportunity to see the show, and you pass it up...
Eh, to be honest, its not really my thing. I do like hip hop and such, but its not something I listen to on a daily basis

cue ball works nicely too.

Yeah. I enjoyed that in Narc. :)
Sometimes, pointing devices can be ... "distracted"... for lack of a better word. Think of the N64 analog stick problem where it's like you're pressing a direction even when you're not touching the stick. My laptop will sometimes have a wandering pointer... if i take my wrists/forearms off the base of the laptop for a second, it stops and I can resume normal function.
Accordiing to your wife(or g/f, whatever), it might be a motherboard problem with my dell laptop:cry:. It hasn't fucked up yet though and it's been almost 2 hours so maybe I fixed it :whistle2:?.
Towel full of oranges or washcloth-covered bar-of-soap?
So does that mean Shrike is a grifter, or is he ordering a code red?

Shrike! Did you order the Code red! Did you? I want the truth!
(or would it be a blanket party? Yeah, I think that's actually the more likely one)
Towel full of oranges or washcloth-covered bar-of-soap?
the oranges have the weight, but they're too soft. they make a mess. who wants to get citrus all over themself while taking giving out complimentary punches to the face. i mean, you're doing this public service and all of a sudden :smush!: gross.

girlfriend. sometimes pointers do "drift" but if you're talking about what i'm thinking you are, it's more than a "drift", it's the mouse shooting across the screen and being totally uncontrollable requiring a reboot, right?
Not sure, as we've just gotten the box from UPS. I expect Ultimate.
PM me a number. I'll buy your stuff if you do. :) (j/k)

The point is that a blanket full of oranges leaves a bunch of big, nasty painful bruises, but does a minimum of internal damage. It'd basically hurt like hell, but it doesn't mess the person up that badly, making it useful as a disciplinary or motivational device. You don't want to take the person you're inflicting it on out of commision, you just want to teach them a lesson.

I know there are people in the OTT who like cheap DS games... I have a Gunpey DS I got from Target, it cost me $7.48, by the guy who did Lumines. I'm not sure *why* I bought it. It's still brand new and sealed.

Cost ($8 after tax) + shipping ($1.40 for first class) + Paypal fees (which is usually a $1 but I'll round down) means that if someone here wants it for $10 shipped let me know.

It's about 1/2 off the retail price and it's either that or it goes back to the store or up on Ebay, and either solution is a hassle. Just PM me though if anyone wants it cause I probably won't check back, if no one says anything by tonight I'll dump it elsewhere cause I don't want it.

Thing is is that if you fuck up, the person is fucked for life though. Its an old insurance scam trick...and was used in The Grifters. Reminds me, I got it from DDD months ago and I've yet to watch it...

yeah, but they make a mess.

they smoosh.

fairly easily.

I think I just had some sort of mental telepathy goin on with Strell. He made me use abornal sentence fragments.

They don't make a mess, as they are contained in the blanket, which to function correctly as the delivery device has to be reasonably thick. This makes the entire mess basically self contained.

You want them to smush somewhat, as if they were more rigid, they would inflict further interal damage... which isn't really what you want.

fuck you Kingston, you and your shitty ass bullshit rebates. I better get a rebate check for this god damn SD card I purchased from Buy.com with google checkout...
Man... I wish I had Vista. I feel sooo old. Maybe I'll illegaly install Mac OS X to make me feel better.
Why would you wish you had Vista? It's going to take a service pack to be worthwhile and then it's still WinME v2.

Better yet, if you can manage to get the target :cough:victim:cough: on the ground, unmoving, you could always dump the mess on them afterwards... then just take the blanket to the a laundromat.

Wha?

I did a few rebates on things I bought from buy.com w/ GCO. Hope it's not going to be a big problem... I did send the buy.com receipt (there was some page on buy.com I hit to print them out) as I heard the GCO receipt wasn't acceptable. I don't think any of them were for Kingston products, though.

It might be a problem with it, then again, it could be just the trackpad that's the issue.

Played the Challenge mode of Pikmin (where you try to grow as many pikmin in one day) for about 5 minutes. Not feeling it. Guess that's it for that one.

A shame they didn't create about twice as many areas in the main game.
It might be a problem with it, then again, it could be just the trackpad that's the issue.
actually, i believe i said that trackpad issues are a symptom of motherboard problems (particularly on Dells), not that it's the only explanation.

I sent everything that was needed to be sent in. I checked their little rebate-zone website and it couldn't find my rebate information. I sent it in maybe two weeks ago.

Yeah it would do some random shit sometimes too, like just go back and forth really fast for like 5 seconds and then shoot back to the right side. Stupid computers.

Chicka - Whatever, it's cool. I guess it would've helped had I told you the scroll thingy on the side of the touchpad stopped working about 2 weeks ago. I didn't even think about it until now though.

They can be, though on my D800, they redesigned the trackpad assembly under the palm rest, so they may have addressed that issue. Or, it could be the motherboard.

As a fallback plan, http://www.parts-people.com is a great place to get Dell laptops parts from, up to and including system boards.
Are you finished with your old laptop yet? :D
actually, i think i am. i'm pretty sure i got everything off of it. i'll double check.

On an unrelated note, I entered our "utility room" in the local Messiest Room contest. The messiest room gets a prize package from the newspaper worth over $4k. If I post the link, will you guys vote for us?
