There's no mention of bonuses anywhere on the main page. Isn't that usually something they include?
Hmmm, good point. While in the distant past they didn't mention them, ever since you had to BTA in advance to get them they mentioned them. Ah well, will still wait. That said, another $2.50 for Scribblenauts and AC isn't bad.

Time to put the gift links to the test. Quote with which game you'd like and I'll PM you the gift link.

Batman: Arkham Asylum
FEAR 2 Project Origin
FEAR 3
Lord of the Rings: War in the North
Batman: Arkham City
Scribblenauts Unlimited
Argh, only one i was semi interested in was Scribblenauts, but I already bought the bundle =0

Locked in at $3.50ish -- will wait to see what the bonuses are.

Did it really lock in the average though? When I've done that before it would tell me the average I bought in at under the increase your donation page, but this time there was no mention, nor would it tell me how much I'd have to add to beat the average. I went ahead and increased it to the current average of $3.50 just in case it didn't lock it in like usual.

Okay, screw waiting for games to be bundled, from now on i'm waiting for bundled games to be given away.   :oldman:

I'm always surprised at how well the humblestore works.  Moving a thousand bundles a minute with no noticeable hiccups.  Ended up getting in at $3.33, even though I only wanted LotR.

Dang... I missed the cheap sub $4 price for the bundle. Ugh. That's what I get for eating lunch.

Really tempted as I kind of want Scribblenauts Unlimited.

They learned how to handle capacity the hard way. There were some issues in a couple of early bundles.

If you still have it, I'll take Scribblenauts as I didn't grab the BTA.

No, I understand that and that is what irks me. Justification for "manipulation" does not make it correct. There is also the trend that many times the internet sheep take reviews and swing in their direction. A game is reviewed below average and it becomes the worst thing in the world, a game is reviewed above average and people are crying that it didn't get a ten. Two examples, Aliens: Colonial Marines and Binary Domain. Both average to slightly above average shooters, but you wouldn't guess it by the scores. I've played both to completion. If I were to rate these games, they'd both fall in the 5.5-6 range on a one to ten scale. They are both average and competent, but not much beyond that. AC:M does have decent sound design and familiar set pieces and BD has a fairly interesting story which is why neither are a straight 5. Neither games deserve their critic or user reviews on metacritic,IMO (and I don't like the way they weight their scores). This is pretty much why I go straight to CAG or youtube for opinions. I find people that are of my like mindset and see what they have to say. I certainly don't need IGN to tell me that 75% of the AAA games they review are going to be 7.5 and above. Though, I still use theirs and GameSpot's video reviews to make my own opinion.

I agree certain games do get too much bad press for being average. Personally I prefer the scoring system used here on Cheapassgamer. It is simple and to the point plus the recommended buy price is a nice touch.

Heh, I got in as soon as both HIB and CAG posted it to Facebook and thought I did well beating the average when it was $4.06. Then I catch up here and see all those purchases in the mid-3's.

Glad I passed on the FEAR games all those times in the past.

Wow, I already own all of the games in this bundle.

All the LEGO games are the same. Plots and characters are respective to the individual franchises, but game play and the "comedic" style is exactly the same for each game. Red target icons are the same, whether you're Indy swinging from a whip or Batman or Boba Fett using a grappling hook. Doors for small characters are the same, whether you're Short Round or a Jawa. And you always die in 4 hits. If you've played one LEGO game, you've played them all.

If you feel like getting in more charitable spirity thangs, GOG has an event going on: 100% of proceeds go to charity, donate five bucks or more and pick three games out of Darwinia, Pid, FTL, Botanicula, Waking Mars, Driftmoon, Incredipede, Creatures: Village, The Whispered World, and Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee.

Still have these left.  Quote with which game you'd like and I'll PM you the gift link.

Well shit.

I bought the HB right away - just the $1 tier since the BTA was over $20.

In a few minutes it dropped down to @4 so I went to boost the price.  I paid another $3+ and went looking for my keys. No luck -  My page says I need to pay another $21.12 to get the BTA games :/

I emailed support, don't know if I am screwed or not on this.

Additionally, I immediately had bought a gift $1 tier for my GF - and never received the email with the link

None work. BTW, no one else should try activating all of those.. your Uplay account will be temporarily banned for 60 minutes if you go through too many activation attempts.

None of those worked for me. Though it's interesting that every time I clicked the box art, it offered me a different key.

Sweet bundle this time around.

If someone has an extra Lord of the Rings key they don't need, please PM me. Trying to co-op with a buddy.

I wouldn't mind taking FEAR 2 and FEAR 3 off your hands if they're still available. I'm curious if I can get them to work with Oculus Rift...and to put my brown pants to good use, lol.

EDIT - Big thanks to Neuro5i5 for these! Should be interesting to see how these work with the Rift.

Cool, worked right away. Thanks.

This is my 2nd ever game activated through Uplay only. I got some others in my library but they all require Steam. Wish I could register my DRM free AC1 with Uplay, just to have all my AC games showing on there.

Here's something Uplay has over Steam, on Uplay library they list my AC games in release order. On Steam they're alphabetical so it's the totally wrong order.

I feel like playing F.E.A.R. just put me into a gaming rut. I don't know why I forced myself to finish that thing. Maybe I'm just not a big FPS guy, or maybe it's just a sucky game.

It sucks that someone spent almost the last of my cash on an Amazon purchase, I can't even buy the higher tier if I wanted to! Ah well, AC was the only thing I wanted from it
