New Thread:

This thread has been replaced by TSDT v11

Daily Deal:
Please check the Steam homepage.

Weeklong Deals:
Steam usually has week-long deals that change on Mondays at 6PM UTC. They mostly feature indie games, and may not run every week.

Sale summary lists:

Key:
⤷ indicates DLC, — specifies part of a pack, + shows alternative versions, ⚠ highlights things worth knowing, ♫ is obvious, and ... denotes a multi-pack.

Holiday Sale 2013 | 19/12/13 through 3/1/14:
Days 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-14.

Spring/Autumn Sale 2013 | 27/11/13 through 3/12/13:
All days.

Steam deals on other stores: (Related threads on CAG.)

Indie* bundle threads: (*Not always indie, nor always a bundle.)

Free stuff:
There are quite a few free games (mostly Free to Play) and mods available via the Steam platform, a comprehensive list of which can be found in this thread on the SPUF.
(NOTE: free games are not permanently attached to your Steam account like actual purchases would be. You'll need to manually download a game again from the website if you uninstall it.)

So, why the hell did they wait until after the Steam Winter Sale to DDOS it?! Would it not have been more in line with their goal of causing mayhem to hit them while the sale was underway, costing them untold amounts of revenue? Wouldn't the already heavy traffic Steam was experiencing had not made their efforts that much easier? Am I missing something here?
It was also down yesterday while the sale was still going on. This is looking to be a daily event meow.

hax0rs be lazy.

please do post back if you successfully get that nuveem sale to work and you live in the usa, i would try it, but with different games(already have bioshock)

Well it took me forever farting around in the account settings and reloading the page several times but I managed to get through the order and both keys have activated fine. Bioshock is called (WW) and Castlevania had no region in the name.

I live in Canada, used a Brazil address of a hotel and found a random Brazil phone number somewhere else, and paid via Paypal. Worked fine. You don't have to fill out every field in the member page but you have to do address and phone number. I think I left one field blank in the address cause I didn't know what they wanted.

Paypal insisted on paying in Canadian even tho I had US balance, I wound up paying $13.82 which is all right I guess.

Careful... I thought Nuuevm normally tried to prevent you from buying region locked keys. (I think idiot mentioned this.)
I believe they will block you from buying a region locked game based on your IP. This thing I just had to fill out was a general account page, not specific to the games I was trying to buy.

What does it end up costing for each? Tempting but not a fan of ordering from sites I cant even read lol :)

It's one of those "Pick Two for $12.50" style deals. And, like most such "deals", there's one decent combo and a bunch of dogs (I'm picking Mass Effect 2 and Bulletstorm!)

Are you in Oregon? We should meet up and go shopping for stuff, like jewelry... and ponies... and jewelry for ponies.
As of jan 1st 2014, amazon started charging sales tax on the digital downloads. The workaround is to use an address in oregon(no sales tax in oregon) such as a mcdonalds.

I used my real address (in Puerto Rico) and left the region part blank. I used my real phone number and it got converted into the Brazilian format. It was kind of a pain, I had to reenter information several times until I filled out the number of spaces it wanted. I activated Castlevania on Steam without any problems (although most of the time Puerto Rico is treated like the rest of the US, some things don't come up on Steam for me (e.g. Fable, Bulletstorm)). I sent the Bioshock Infinite key to the co-buyer and apparently it activated also.

Bought the BSI and Castlevania deal.  Found a restaurant in Sao Paulo and used that phone and address.  Castlevania is downloading as I type so here's hoping for the best.

You know, there's actually nothing in Delaware, right?

Nothing.
Good grief, I can't believe no one posted this...

That's the first and second thing I think of when I hear the word 'Delaware'.

Ahhhaha, I totally forgot about that. Pics are good, but video portrays the lack of emotion better...

So um. Bioshock Infinite is showing up in the Amazon Editor's Choice list at $9.99 right now. So that would make it $4.99 after coupon if the discount sticks.

All of a sudden I'm not angry at not getting the Nuuvem deal. Too bad about Castlevania though. I would've liked that. >_>

I think Tony already said it was going to be $13.xx, but you never know.

If the discount sticks I'll be one happy fuggin' guy. I was gifted the BI season pass, so to get that + the game for five dollars total....awesome.

Of course, I preordered it on Xbox before i had a pc good enough to play games like BI, so in total I'd have spent 65 bucks on it...yeah...

yea smile it up doe!

Bingo! This is what I was referencing... all those dirty filthy Euro-Socialists getting in on 'Murican Amazon DVG deals *and* dodging tax by using... ;)
Yeah, except they're not dodging tax. They wouldn't have to pay it anyway because they're not living in the state that's charging it.
