I decided I'd make a new one.

Stones Throw is an independent label that puts out a shitload of albums every year. Noteworthy artists include Madlib, founder Peanut Butter Wolf and Oh No.

Anyway, here's what I'm listening to:

Blue Scholars - Bayani(album)

Pretty good stuff.

Queens of the Stone Age - Era Vulgaris
Not on the album of the same name :bomb:.

Queens of the Stone Age - I'm Designer
One of my favs off Era Vulgaris (album).

Queens of the Stone Age - Turnin' on the Screw

I love the lyrics / vocals.

Bright Eyes - Fevers & Mirrors (album)

Shakira - Fijación Oral Vol. 1 (album)

Bright Eyes - Fevers & Mirrors (album)

Queens of the Stone Age - Era Vulgaris (album)

Beck - The Information (album)

The Beatles - With The Beatles (album)

The Cure - The Head On The Door (album)

The Cure - Disintegration (album)

Spank Rock- Fabriclive 33 (album)

Hiji Suru Style- Force of nature (samurai Champloo Sdtk.)
J Dilla- Nothing Like This
K-OS- Sunday Morning

A new Song of the Moment thread? Cool stuff :D.

Earlier: The Transplants (Self titled album)
Now: Queens of the Stone Age - Era Vulgaris (album)

Kid Rock - Grits Sandwitches for Breakfast (album)

This was released around the time he went on tour with Ice Cube, Yo Yo, and Too $hort (known as rap's last great tour) and has some tracks produced by Too $hort. It's not that great of an album but it makes for an interesting listen.
65daysofstatic - The Destruction of Small Things (album)
You mean "The Destruction of Small Ideas"?

Or is that something else?

No, you're right. Fixed.

Great album, regardless.

Agreed. I thought that the songs with vocals wouldn't work, but there's so minimal that it actually does work.

If I'm not mistaken, Circle Takes The Square guests on that album. They fucking rock, so I might check it out.

Stormcrow - Enslaved In Darkness (album)

They sure do.
best song on the new mixtape by far. Had it in my sig for awhile.
I completely agree. Lupe and Pharrell kill it while Kanye's verse was a welcome change of pace in between the two fast verses.
I completely agree. Lupe and Pharrell kill it while Kanye throw in an above average verse.
meh, it was part of Kanye's verse I had sig'd. So I slightly disagree. I just feel like kanye's voice and style just didn't flow with the song, but his lyrics are still tight.

Nah, I agree with you. I edited my post right after I hit enter because I knew it would come across wrong. I actually enjoyed his verse because his flow is so different from the other two. Sorry for the confusion!

Eagles of Death Metal - Death by Sexy (album)

Bright Eyes - Fevers & Mirrors (album)

Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine (album)

Bright Eyes - Lifted (album)

Garbage - Version 2.0 (album)
