Chrisette Michele - I Am(album)

Some good neo-soul. The lyrics are a bit weak, but I can't help but love her voice. FYI, she sang the chorus on "Can't Forget About You" and "Still Dreaming" on Nas' Hip Hop is Dead.

"Doomsday Clock" - Smashing Pumpkins

This is my first playthrough if their new disc. I'm a bit nervous and not expecting much but they are a Top 5 band for me so I'm hopeful. Just doesn't seem right without D'arcy or Iha though.
The Nextmen - This Was Supposed to Be the Future(album)
awesome album (though that sohuld be expected with The Nextmen), can't wait for my cd to get here

Since it finished dl

Citizens Of Sleep - Sometimes I Can't Get Outraged Over Copywrite Law (album)

This Nextmen stuff is different from what I expected, but it's pretty damn cool. Any other recommendations for stuff by them?

And I hope ya like the Citizens of Sleep album. Some of it is pretty good with a few average cuts.

Brand New - Your Favorite Weapon (album), Deja Entendu (album), The Holiday EP (EP), The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me (album)

On a HUGE Brand New kick lately.

Yeah, they really cannot be placed into one genre. Well, they only have 3 real albums (including This Was Supposed To Be The Future) and a bunch of mix cds. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with anything they have put out as it's years ahead of almost everyone.

Grab the other 2 albums from them: Get Over It and Amongst The Madness

I would have to say that Child's Introduction To Jazz and Familiy And Friends are my two favorite mixes. Also get Personal Golf Instructions as its pretty good but its also intresting to see where they started

edit: the song By Your Side is pretty fucking sweet, that sample is fucking sick

Thanks man, I'll definitely grab those.

And I'm glad you're liking the album so far. I have to write a review for it tonight and I'm almost dreading it because I'm so exhausted.

Edit: Listening to Talib Kweli - More Drum(album). Apparently, it's just a collection of b-sides to Ear Drum.
Interpol - Antics, the album
I just got their new one and I'm about to listen for the first time. I hope they are 3 for 3.

Counter proposal;
I go home and jerk off.

Queens of the Stone Age - I'm Designer
Belleruche - Turntable Soul Music (album)

since I dropped $21 on a blind buy on this, I figured I would check it out
again

Great fucking album and one of my better blind buys

again, really digging it

edit: By Your Side is the jewel of the album

Gemini - Fahrenheit 1/15 Part V: Untamed Beast(mixtape)

Meh, he's not bad. I think he should stick to singing, because while he has a good flow, his lyrics are kinda stale.
