Oh, don't get too excited OTM. Probably just be one tag team getting broken up. Kenny going to SD, Shannon Moore going to OVW and Eugene going to ECW.

I'm guessing they moved it because someone figured out - HEY! SD is taped Tuesday, and that'd be a give-a-way as to who moved/didn't move.
I'm just excited to see a change, regardless of who gets moved where. I was hoping the draft on raw was going to be like the first one but obviously it wasn't. I still want to see Punk, benjamin, Hass, Dykstra, Nitro go to Smackdown. Mysterio, Regal to Raw. Davari, Viscera, Venis, Eugene to ECW.

Oh man, Venis should go to ECW. He could bring back his porn-star gimmick, c'mon that's "hardcore" . The more I think about it Viscera would fit on ECW/sci-fi too. I kind of hope he gets shuffled over as well.

I definitely like the idea of moving Nitro and Dykstra to SD, they need a chance to wrestle again. Nitro is pretty damn talented, but on Raw he gets nothing. He was just the I/C champ last year too and like him or not you can't deny he had a great series of matches with Jeff Hardy.

I thought Regal was Raw bound, but we'll see, he'd probably only get buried on Raw sadly. I'd like to see Mysterio on Raw to face Cena, HHH & HBK, but he'd either have to turn heel or he'd be buried down the card behind the other top faces.

Punk could use some more time in ECW, after he wins the ECW title then move him over to SD. Punk vs Benoit could be interesting.

WWE frequently lets talent move around though, so I'm sure we'll see more changes in the months to come.

I want Punk to stay on ECW. I understand the desire to have him work with a wider range of talent, but bring that talent to ECW. Don't take Punk away.

Smackdown just got raped and Raw has too much talent, and now ECW has no one besides Benoit and Punk as top faces. Punk needs to stay there, have a run as champion, and then eventually move to Smackdown.

With that said, I bring you another Iron Sheik moment:

source: www.f4wonline.com

Yet another classic Iron Sheik moment occurred backstage before the 6/11 Raw.

Sheik arrived in the early afternoon and saw the big in-house designer beauticians' area where all the WWE Divas get their hair and make-up done. He decided he wanted them to give him an old fashioned barber shop shaving, to his head and face of course. They said, well, "We can't do grooming, we're just beauticians." That set Sheik off and he launched into one of his trademarke tirades with all of the usual sayings. The beauticians and WWE Divas quietly slinked away from the scene.

Sheik then said he would do the grooming himself. He sat down and began to trim his moustache. However, he made a miscue as he ended up snipping off one side of his moustache. He got really, really mad again and launched into yet another huge tirade. He blamed the beautician's for the loss of part of his moustache. If you watch Raw, you can see where that it was a little uneven.
Don't be silly. Everyone knows that Linda is a buzzard.

Also, Joey Styles is the best announcer in the business today. To think he's terrible is to hold a shitty, ignorant opinion.
I love the old ECW and think that Joey sucks balls now just as he did then. The guy always was and will always be a horrible announcer.

That said, I REALLY wish that Vince had some competition. TNA will never make it big time and wrestling is really suffering from having only one big fed. Besides Jeff Jarrett wrestling is just as bad as the WWE is right now.
Jackie Gayda pulling that off would be more improbable.

I haven't really been posting recently... been busy with summer classes/taking GRE's next Tuesday. Anyway, I thought RAW was just disgusting this week. None of the "Draft" (what a pointless concept) made much of any sense. Might be good to get Khali off RAW and Benoit off SD though. Vince's explosion was definitely the "WTF" wrestling moment of the year. Didn't catch much of ECW... looking forward to Impact tomorrow though :)

How cool is this shirt?

75071X.JPG

I'm looking forward to Mike Tenay looking very appalled, insulted, and making goofy facial expressions. More good wrestling would be nice, as the show has been on a roll over the past month, much like SD and WWE as a whole have been over the past six months, minus actually turning a profit.

Edit - DAMN THAT SHIRT ROCKS!

Yeah, I'll definitely be getting that shirt, along with the new Orton one.
I wanna die wearing that fuckin shirt.
Buy the shirt, have a match with Jackie Gayda.
So f'n sold.
That's a sick shirt, I rarely have wanted to buy a WWE shirt, and the 3 I own all came as freebies with dvds (and one from a CAG contest), I may have to get that one though.
Does anyone else think that TNA should change the match on Sunday to Team 3D vs. Rick Steiner and Judy Bagwell due to Scott's injury?
Only if it's the return of the legendary Judy Bagwell on a Pole match.

That Storm vs Harris Match saved their TNA careers after that horrid blindfold match! Btw, is it just me or does Wildcat have a Edge vibe to him? I think TNA should give him another huge singles push like when TNA first started.

Wow... I've loved most of the Nash/X Division guy segments, but the last 2 weeks of Nash/Dutt/Lethal have been especially hilarious.

I actually enjoy watching Sonjay Dutt for a change.

I hate how the WWE's caricature shirts never look like the actual people: Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Carlito... and now, The Hardys.
Only if it's the return of the legendary Judy Bagwell on a Pole match.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I was thinking of that the other day, and was wondering under whose reign that took place. Was it in when Bischoff was out, and Russ wasn't in yet?

Oh no, darlin' That was *ALL* Russo, I think. I could be confusing that with the Billy Kidman/Shane Douglas "viagra on a pole" match.

Did I just really type what I think I typed?

LMAO... There's a Vengeance commercial that just aired during The Ultimate Fighter, and nearly everyone they show holding a belt is no longer champion.

DJ, that's not the shocker, by the way. The shocker involves the index and middle fingers pushed together, while the Matt Hardy V1 sign has them separated in a V.

They're taking this too far now:

“I hated the arrogant b******, but I had to come,” said a tearful Peter Frager, who said he drove all the way from Borger, Texas. “I’ve watched wrestling for so many years – I grew up watching him, even during the days when he was just an announcer. It’s going to be weird watching WWE without him.”
One fan, dressed in a retro powder blue sports jacket with the old World Wrestling Federation logo that was once the Chairman’s trademark, was too overcome with grief to talk. His shoulders shook and lips quivered before he buried his face in his hands. He had to be held by his two friends that were at his side.

“The fact that this happened just before Father’s Day – it’s just terrible, terrible,” he said. “I know how Shane and Stephanie must feel – my Dad passed away around this time last year. I just hope they can get through this and help their mother get through this.”

I don't know if I should either wish real death upon Vince for deceiving these people in such a fashion or death upon these people for being so easily deceived.

Another flaw in Vince's ever so briliant scheme:

- According to some viewer reports, when Vince McMahon got into his limousine right before it blew up, there was a driver in the front ready to drive him away. There has been absolutely no mention of the driver whether or not he is alive, dead, or missing in any WWE.com report that has taken the storyline seriously.

Excellent point, when the hell does Vince get in a limo without a driver ready? Why was there no mention of the driver at all? Details Vince, details!

After discussing things here with you guys and having not been to a live show in a while, I forget how gullible and just plain stupid many wrestling fans are.

I wonder if they have a special area already set-up for when all of the hate mail comes flying in after they reveal that Vince isn't dead?

Other assorted news:

WWE has ended their experiment and are once again notifying referees of the planned match finishes at house shows.

The article goes on to say refs are to call matches as realistically as possible though and change the outcome if necessary, as they will not be blamed; the wrestler(s) will be.

Management within World Wrestling Entertainment have been talking about cutting WWE’s pay-per-views to 14 next year. Vince McMahon has admitted privately that the company is running too many shows.

Gee, ya think... I'd imagine that's a bad sign for Dec2Dismember.

Former WWE Diva, Amy "Lita" Dumas is hosting an hour-long punk radio show called "Bands I've Slept With" on 96.1 FM in Atlanta every Sunday night at 9pm.

Vince death spoilers:

Due to Vince McMahon’s on air “death” WWE is planning on having Stephanie and Linda McMahon return to WWE programming.

Was bound to happen sooner or later. I for one welcome the return of Fat-Stephanie, this could be quite comical.

Mr. Kennedy... Kennedy, spoilers.
Apparently Triple H feels that there is not enough heels on the RAW brand, which is the reason Mr. Kennedy was drafted to RAW. This move indicates that Kennedy will not be returning to chase Edge for the World Title like he was originally supposed to, but confirms that he will be returning to RAW as a heel and eventually be feuding with Triple H in the future.

I kind of figured that WWE wanted to keep Kennedy a heel and that is why he was moved over. Matters not what WWE says though, the fans have the ultimate say as to who they cheer and who they boo. This is only going to make Kennedy's inevitable face turn all the better.

Perhaps Trips wants one more shot at making his "legacy" as Batista and Orton would have to be considered failures at this point. Triple H (supposedly) turned down working with Edge several times, so this has to be a good sign for Kennedy. I hope Mr. Kennedy wins the Rumble so he can get his title shot back for WM24.

We should start a pool, will Vince return:

A. This week on Raw
B. At Vengeance
C. Shortly after his assailant is revealed
D. In time for Summerslam
E. In time for WM24
F. After WM24

Then, what will the idiot look like upon his return:

A. Bandages, wheelchair, etc
B. wearing Kane's Mask
C. using Undertaker's Deadman gimmick
D. Completely unscathed - oh it's a mystery!

There are rumors that Ashley will be on one of the next couple editions of Survivor. If it keeps her off WWE programming I'm all for it.
BTW, where has Lillian Garcia been? Fired, hiatus, what's the deal? This guy filling in for her makes Chimmel sound like Michael Buffer.
I'll ask again, does anybody know if Lillian still works for WWE and, if so, what her status is?

Anyone watch Impact tonight? I may order Slammiversary. It looks like a solid show all around. The return of Abyss was *HOT*, and he has some nasty scars from the assault he took on TV a while back (he had visible scars going through his tattoo work where there was no ink).

I think TNA is putting together some top-notch TV, only hindered by the fact that it's only an hour, and it's not live. This shit would be incredible if it were live. Reading spoilers ruins some of the fun.

Of course, VKM still sucks; but you already knew that.

Wait, how did Vince privately mention there were too many PPV's?? Vince is dead!!! What is going on?!?

And wait, if Triple H brought Mr Kennedy back to specfically feud with, it means one of two things - Triple H either will NOT be in the title picture, feuding with Kennedy in non title matches as a face, or Triple H is going to win the belt, effectively removing Cena from the title picture, but I have no idea how that is going to happen, since Cena is a face and HHH is a face.

I am all for number two happening.

God..... watch HHH job to Kennedy and then take credit for him being over with the fans! fuck HHH :(
Btw, it is smart to keep him from Edge...they can have their match at Wrestlemania down here in FL so I can witness Kennedy's revenge in person!!

I marked out like guyver when Abyss' music hit...

... ok. Only on the inside.

Edit:

That Death of Vince McMahon spoiler is AIDS.

I give tonight's show an 8... I thought it was slightly worse than last weeks.

1. E... Don't know why just seems like they're planning on keeping him off TV for a while.

How will he return? Hmph good question. I'm guessing screwjob fashion probably screwing over some face from a big title win... maybe Cena or Kennedy or something.

He'll say something along the lines of how "lucky" he is, etc, etc, then reveal something stupid, like another entrant into the KMA club.

Nah, I think he'll play it off as some kind of big hoax, like "haha, I was never in the limo, I sure fooled all of you!"

You mean the December 2 Dismember PPV that has already been cancelled? ;)
PWInsider.com is sorry to report the passing of WWE Hall of Famer Sherri Martel, real name Sherri Russel today. A former WWF and AWA Women's champion, Martel is probably best remembered for her role of one of the best female heel managers of all time during her 1990s WWF run, working alongside Shawn Michaels, Ted DiBiase, and Randy Savage, among others.

Moving to World Championship Wrestling in 1994, Martel worked on top with Ric Flair during his feud with Hulk Hogan before moving on to manage The Harlem Heat tag team.

Martel was inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame in Chicago during Wrestlemania 21 weekend and still made semi-regular appearances at conventions and media events. Jakks Pacific had just released a Classic Superstars action figure in her honor.

Martel was only 49 years old.
Wow. I didn't see that coming at all.
