I knew a lot of you ecw marks would get upset that I pointed out the truth about Joey Stiles. The guy is flat out not entertaining at all though, and every time he starts saying "OH MY GOD" he sounds like he's going through puberty and his voice is cracking. That is when I want Taz to hit him the most. I never liked him at all, and never thought he was good.

Go back and listen to some old tapes, Stiles couldn't hold Monsoon, Heenan or Ventura's jock. He's about on par with Tony Schiavonne.

And to say he's a "top 3" announcer right now really isn't saying much, when you consider the competition.

To say that statement is "ignorant"... well nvm that's typical Brak, being a douchebag. Doesn't help having him on block when people quote his dumbass.

Anyway, the draft failed:

The 3 hour WWE RAW special which was Mr. McMahon’s appreciation night featuring the Draft Lottery and the grand finale of Vince McMahon’s limo exploding scored a 3.8 rating. This is the same as last week’s WWE RAW rating.

Poor WWE.

I can't believe they're giving Vince a 10 bell count, this is an insult to all those wrestlers who actually deserved them when they actually died.

I don't know what is funnier tho:

A) Fans booing at the ten bell salute.
B) Joey and Taz "upset" over the fans booing.

Smackdown spoilers

Dark Match:

*Shantelle Taylor, wearing a green mask, defeated Jillian Hall.

Smackdown:

*The entire Smackdown roster assembled for a ten bell salute to Mr. McMahon. The live crowd booed the entire proceedings.

*WWE Tag Team champions Deuce & Domino defeated Paul London & Brian Kendrick.

*Announced for later tonight: WWE United States champion MVP vs. Batista and WWE World champion Edge vs. Ric Flair.

*Matt Hardy pinned William Regal.

*Batista defeated WWE United States champion MVP in a non-title match.

*Ric Flair defeated WWE World champion Edge, DQ when MVP got involved. Batista hit the ring for the save but was taken down by Edge.

Dark Match:

*WWE Cruiserweight champion Chavo Guerrero defeated Funaki.

*Chris Masters defeated JD Michaels.

For the people who don't want to know the results.

Another ten bell salute for Vince
Deuce & Domino vs Paul London & Brian Kendrick
Matt Hardy vs William Regal
Batista vs MVP
Edge vs Ric Flair

I hope he comes out and shoves worms down Kevin Thorn's throat.

I am happy Stevie Richards is getting tv time (even if he is losing) instead of Mike Knox.

Still want me to PM you my address?

Oh; I'd rather be an ECW mark than a WWE mark. Which leads me into justifying my stance on saying that your opinion was ignorant: You watch nothing but WWE, so you're oblivious to what Styles has done throughout his career.

Continue with justifying the spectacle of McMahon's death last night on RAW.

Unfortunately you're a typical coward, so we all know that's never going to happen.

Take old ECW, I'll still take WWE, even at its present worst.

A testament to your tastes.

PM'd.
Really.

Jesus, Zen you are losing touch with reality worse than Vince was.
Call it a sickness... if I could stop watching WWE, I would. Hey, I made a thread about helping my friend stop playing Warcraft, maybe we should make another one to stop me from watching Raw.

I know it's bad, it's damn bad, probably worse than the pre-Attitude/post-Hogan era. At least they had HBK in his prime and Bret Hart. Regardless though, I keep... on... watching... :wall:
PM'd.
Don't tease me like that.

Tease? Check your inbox.
Isn't flashing or anything... maybe it didn't send, undoubtedly for the best anyway though
It's in my sent inbox. I sent it twice, too.

PM me yours, I guess.

If I beat your ass, should I give you positive feedback, and you leave me negative feedback? I'm not sure how that would work.

C'mon man stop fooling around. You didn't send anything (unless having you on block filtered it), let's just drop this crap and move on.
I wonder if the families of those who have passed are finding this compelling.
Or viewers with family members who have recently passed, especially if it was via a car bomb.
We told you we were waging war!
God. They really need to release those two...
VKM will take credit for it on this week's impact!
Honestly I'd love to see TNA completely IGNORE this. Yeah its a ripe chance for TNA to on-air rip the WWE for yet another senseless storyline but honestly does TNA need to once again dip themselves down to WWE's level?

Oh, and Year 2 of the History Of TNA will be up tommorow night.

TNA should ignore EVERYTHING WWE does. EVERYTHING.

That's what will set them apart, once they stop trying to ape / parody various WWE aspects.
Hasn't BG James wanted TNA to release him lately too?
Yeah. I think so.

They both think they could make it back to WWE...

Yeah. Right.
We told you we were waging war!
They can claim to have successfully defeated Vince McMahon as well as naysayers who try to tell them that 1997 was ten fuckin' years ago.
awesome dreamer vs ballz
I hit fast forward as soon as I saw that match. That's how bad WWE has me conditioned - I saw "Dreamer versus Balls" and thought to myself "fifteen seconds to a Snitsky run-in or some dumb shit."

And I was wrong - they had a solid, 12+ minute hardcore match. I didn't get to watch it because I ff'd through the thing, and by the time I stopped, Dreamer pinned Balls. Now who wants to go back and watch the match now!?!?

I guess the lesson is that jobbers have a hard time fighting each other.

If they don't bring back the zombie to feud with Boogeyman, then the WWE writers have no balls.

I skimmed through the whole show in about 8 minutes. Did they say anything about how they're going to proceed with the ECW title?

no... today was pretty much a memorial show..

did u forget snitsky is on raw now....
did u forget snitsky is on raw now....
Like that has stopped *anyone* from showing up on whatever show they want for the past god knows how long?

IOW, let me ask you if it's a big deal that Lashley is moving to Raw? After all, he's spent more time on that show from February (or earlier!) through yesterday than he ever spent on ECW.
You're calling the ECW title, most recently defended in handicap matches by VKM, "major."
Notice the quotation marks

The ECW title is essentially the equivalent of the old Hardcore title. Despite the fact that it is NEVER defended in a hardcore match.

Either way, I'd like to see Benoit as the star of the show, even if it is ECW.

Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Somethin' about the classics.

I had a really hard time passing up on some classic tag team figure sets at TRU this morning: they had The Hollywood Blondes and Midnight Express (Stan Lane/Bobby Eaton version). Man...

I bought the hollywood blondes one myself... its a nice addition to my demolition

The online draft was pushed on Sunday. I popped over to WWE.com and saw it. Looks like they need more time to figure out what the fuck they're gonna do.

I was really looking forward to it today so that really disappoints me.

Oh, don't get too excited OTM. Probably just be one tag team getting broken up. Kenny going to SD, Shannon Moore going to OVW and Eugene going to ECW.

I'm guessing they moved it because someone figured out - HEY! SD is taped Tuesday, and that'd be a give-a-way as to who moved/didn't move.
