Oh, OK.

Yeah, I figure that if I can afford something, I might as well buy it if I want it. Nobody's going to be around forever, so you might as well enjoy life while you can. :)

The first order was $1200, if I remember right.

The second one was like $600 or so, though I'm not sure about that amount.

Though, as he has zero living expenses, he can swing that. ;)

Yeah, especially for you. God seems to be aiming to bump you off early...

Nearly $2,000?! Wow...

I feel bad when I spend $50 on something... this makes me feel better.

No living expenses?! You have it made, Subbie...
Yeah, especially for you. God seems to be aiming to bump you off early...
I don't know about that. Maybe it means I'll live a long life. Like they say, the people with no reason to live end up living the longest. If I do die early... well, there's nothing I can do about it. I'll be fine, anyway. I think I'm a good person. Well, at least, I try to be. I think I have a good heart, but I just have a bit of bad luck and sometimes I make a few mistakes...
 Yeah, I'd expect them to get harder or the game would have no challenge. I've taken down them up to #5. I loved number 5. It's arguably the coolest boss fight I've ever taken part in. #4 was pretty tough, though, since you've got to trick it to get on.

In other news, my school was attacked by ninjas on Tuesday. There's a whole story about it and even a video.
I heart #13.

Life is good...and so is the drink :)
Kool Aid squeezits are way better....Oh Yeah...

Edit: Ok so I just noticed the other thread about this drink...I remember that stuff back in the day.

Just picked up Baseketball and Jason X for 5 dollars each at Wal Mart. Sweet. Couldn't find Airplane or Naked Gun 2, though. =[

I keep seeing that one mentioned as a favorite all the time, so I should get to that one later this weekend.

I drank 2 of the HI-C boxes here at work...yum. Unfortunately, i only brought 2, so i cant make myself sick off the stuff.

(BTW, for those of you wondering why im happy about hi-c...its Ecto Cooler in a different package.)

I guess not.

Shall we take bets on who's going to end up with a more fun evening, him or his friend? :D

This is annoying. I can only burn two DVD's, then my DVD burner gets all bitchy like a chick on the rag and says "power calibration error". When I reboot, it works fine.

Stupid electronics.

New cd or new single? I heard the single yesterday. It's not that good.

So much for seeing Saw 2. My movie theater aint even carrying it. You know I like this movie theater because it is cheap but it only carries 8 movies at a time. They didn't even release Waiting here.

CD. Rosenrot came out yesterday. Well, it came out in Germany on the 28th, which was the 27th still here. I think.

Hard to get that kind of money on his salary.
I missed a lot of class because I've had pneumonia on and off (from a sinus infection) for the past few weeks, and I think my Graphic Illustrator instructor dropped me from the class (which was paid for in cash by my parents).

No idea as to what the fuck I should do. Granted, I've fucked up some of my classes over my stint in college, but I didn't knowingly fuck up this time.

I think I'm going to drop out next semester. I wish there was an art / film college close by. One that doesn't have it's head stuck in the clouds, of course.
fucking fuck.

My college sent a letter to my house, which my parents discovered, saying that I dropped the class. My mom just called me (I'm at work), asking why I dropped it. I instinctively played dumb, denying that I dropped it (which I didn't) and that I'll go to the campus on Monday to discover why I was dropped.

I dug myself a deep hole.

I'm going to avoid going right home after work. I'll probably go to the theatre to see A History of Violence (which I've been meaning to see). I don't want to get approached by my dad. ;o

Anyone got any ideas? Normally, I can talk myself out of any situation... but that's the thing -- I learnt it from my dad.

Just be honest, I guess.

Are they paying for your college? If so, they have a right to be concerned. Otherwise, it isn't really of their business.

I believe he said that they paid for this particular class, which isn't a good thing for them to see the class being dropped. I'd agree with Jack about being honest that you didn't drop it and the prof. dropped you from the class.

Well, I had an interesting day today...

Did my banking... headed to Best Buy to PM Far Cry, but they give me a hassle about it, so I left. That might have been their only copy, too, so I'm probably screwed with that...

Went to the video store and rented the two newest games they had (that weren't checked out): Battlefield 2: Modern Combat... and Burnout Revenge.

I've given upvideo game renting of popular titles. Hollywood Video is only good for buying DVDs (5 preowned for 20 bucks?! =O), and Blockbuster never has anything. =\

My Hollywood Video is pretty decent about new titles if you go there on the Friday they put them out. I'm friends with a lot of the workers there, so that also helps.

I love getting one of their B1G1 Free coupons on DVDs. I can get 2 recent releases for $15 or less.

Awesome. I was friends with the Movie Gallery people down here until they closed.

Since I'm relatively new to buying DVDs, they usually have sales on old DVDs (like buy 5 7.99 or less DVDs for 20 bucks), while their newer sales are less of a deal, but you get newer stuff (3 for 30, any DVD). So, yeah, I can get oldDVDs I like but don;t have on the cheap...then by the time that amazement wears off, the old new ones are old. If they made sense.
I think the last time I rented a game was back in the NES days.
Yeah, I remember renting NES games back in the day... ;)

It sucks being poor. I'm often behind on the good games because I have no money to buy them, or the video store copies are checked out.

I feel like Kyle in the Chinpokomon episode of South Park:

Me: Hey, guys, I just bought Far Cry!

Others: Dude, Far Cry is so last month! It's all about this new game we're playing.

Me: You mean Far Cry isn't cool anymore?

Others: Nope, it's totally gay!

 Sorry for laughing.

But do your parents actively keep tabs on what you do at college? If not, just stick to the story you have now. Just make sure you have all your bases covered. No loose ends in the story. Prepare ahead of time what you're going to say and try to anticipate any questions they might ask you. The worst thing to have happen is to be caught by surprise and stumble and backtrack on your story. And don't forget to remember your story just in case it comes up in coversation again in the future.

My latest was Sonic Heroes and Spiderman 2.

I know a thing or two about lying to parents. Going on two months now I've been lying to my parents about my job, which is especially tough, considering I live with them. I made up my own company and did everything from calculating my weekly salary factoring income tax, faked stories about people from work, faked having health and dental insurance, basically everything short of printing business cards with the name of my fake company. The only thing is it's pretty much ballooned out of control. Everybody from aunts and uncles to my parents friends and coworkers think I have this fake job.
