Super Mario 2 is pretty decent, it's one of those titles we had on the AAA list a while back. Probably mine (and everyone elses) least favorite, but I may get it if I get a good deal on some points at some point. I'd rather wait for 3 though.
I love SMB2, but will hold off on downloading since I just got Super Mario World and a classic controller. I need to devote some time to that classic first.
Hmmm... they got the name right, just the number wrong. 3. Super Mario Bros. 3.
Just think of it as a step in the right direction. I'd expect 3 to come along as a milestone game, because everyone will buy it. Everyone sane that is.
I love how I haven't played SMB2 in years but once I get going I automatically remember everything. I took 2 warps and got to World 6, then quit playing after dying at the Birdo that only shoots fire.

Lucky you. I cant seem to connect to the shop channel.
I demand Super Mario RPG *and* Kirby's Dream Course!
I will see your demand for Kirby's Dream Course and raise you a demand for Kirby Superstar!
... and then have nothing to offer but crap and niche games for the last X years of the Wii's life. Good work, you're fired.
everyone wants their favorite game put out, or the most popular games put out, but if you figure the wii is viable for another 4 years, were talking over 200 weeks of releases, thats nearly 1,000 games.
I think Nintendo has done a pretty good job of mixing in their hits with some niche titles and a few bombs. Sure, there are games I want that aren't out yet, but honestly I think Nintendo has released more of their "A" games than I thought they would this early.
I wish they'd quit fooling around and just put the SNES Mario All-Stars up. To sweeten the pot make it the Mario All-Stars with Super Mario World too.
Man, I bought Super Mario World, and the ing jump and run buttons aren't next to each other on the Gamecube controller, and there's no way I'm shelling out another $20 for Wii-dongle #45632.

wii-dongle #45632 is awesome and worth every penny, it makes the vc games much more enjoyable.

Wait for another GamePro coupon and get it for $15.00 before tax at Best Buy. It's well worth it.
I'd rather have Super Mario All-Stars instead
This is the only reason I will not buy SMB2 or 3 when they come out. Surely within the next couple of years they will release All-Stars. I'd rather have the extra levels and better graphics any day.
I'm just curious how many blocks everyone has left. I am down to 400 free blocks on my system...

But you paid $30 for a Wavebird or $20 for a wired GCN controller?

Oh god, I can't stand the Mario All Stars argument. The Graphics on the original games, 3 in particular, are perfectly fine and never needed updating. The updated music on All Stars is horrible as well, it's just so annoying.

Ninja Gaiden (NES)...phew...it kicked my ass a bit...but then I kicked back. Just beat it. Such a great game. I remember all the stages from when I was younger but I can't remember if I finished it or not. Now I can't wait until they release 2 and 3.

edit: my bad, just realized you said SMW and not SMB2.
Hey, just figured id post this here in case someone is very much into playing snes vc games the way they are supposed to be played...
I have two adapters for the wii that allows you to plug an snes controller into the gamecube slot on the nintendo wii. Details can be found on retroport.com
I have two of them, as well as 2 snes controllers to go along with them. Looking mainly for cash. Let me know if anyone would be interested at all. Just PM me.
I hardly play anything but N64 games with the Wavebird, the controller is so awkward for games that used to have symmetrical and equally sized buttons. the CC is easly worth $20.
My friend has those things and they're great. I'm personally in love with the Classic Controllers though so I didn't bother.
The Hori SNES Style GameCube pads work great to. $10 at Game Crazy.
