The Wild and Wooly OTT

Check the slickdeals thread on it, there were a lot of good cheap mobo recommendations in there.

I was talking to the other $$$$$$, Cry Stalker.

Goddamn, reading fiction I wrote back when I was 13 is hysterical. It's like I took anything I considered awesome, and put it into a list, then added quotation marks to signify dialog.

The Beatles Rock Band pack sounds so fucking money. I just hope it is their later stuff.

Had to edit that because I thought about their early stuff, and most of that doesn't intrest me.

Could be a result of the last CAGcast, where Cheapy and Wombat suggested that people make up bullshit on the forums or in the blogs to hopefully get it on all of the big game sites.
I think I just might pick up that monitor.
What happened to your $800, 24" monitor?

The Hanns G? I've got the 21 inch model and it's pretty good for the price, but the viewing angle isn't very generous.

Definitely give that $$$$$$ a week long ban, Rybread.

The only thing I hate about Newegg, is having to pay taxes. I'd probably bite on more shit from there if it was based out of NV or OR.

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

ok....
Is that Optical drive for 20 bucks worth picking up?
If you don't have one, then yeah. If you do, then no need. Just be aware that it's a PATA drive. I don't know how many PATA devices you plan on using, usually you can only have two on newer motherboards.

The Inland North

You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."

That's what I got. It also happens to be the best one to get.

I got the same thing, yet I spent my entire life in NY, and everyone I know says I have a NY accent (especially when cursing). Plus, carbonated drinks are soda.

I call shenanigans on this quiz.

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The West

Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.

The badass West, baby.

Damn. That was sick how my Internet took a colossal shit straight down my throat.
I'm done posting in that basketcase's thread.
Morning OTT.
Mornin all.

I'm a little busy this morning. I finally got the job title number of a position created for me at a company, so now I'm going through the online application process. I already saved a lot of it as a draft (some questions, I wasn't 100% sure of how to answer but some I went ahead and checked due to having some experience with it), and right now I'm trying to finish my cover letter. Mostly the body isn't where I want it to be (I'm all right with the intro and conclusion for now). I'm going to be busy with that this morning trying to edit it (have all the info, but need to make sure my English, Grammar, etc. is perfect). My goal is to submit it no later than noon. I canceled CAG Mario Kart Monday last night so I could do it (from now on, this job stuff and other things take priority over everything, including online game nights).

One small that that kind of holds me up on the cover letter is that I hear I'm suppose to refer to the person as Mr., Mrs., Ms., etc. One person I already know is married since she's a family friend, but the other I'm not too sure so I thought about saying Ms. (it's what I read online).

I'm going to bed for 25 minutes, then I'll return and try to finish it.

Anyway, on that test Brown posted, I got:

Sounds kind of right, but I have a little bit of the Indiana accent since I say "warsh" instead of "wash".
