I haven't bought a new game in while but I'll make an exception for Witcher. If BB price matches I'm be one happy gamer.

I was able to get BB to price match the TRU online listing using my smartphone. $45 + t-shirt - $20 ME3 GC = sweet.
I was very surprised at how willing they were to price match. Perhaps their restructuring will really help them and make them willing to earn business?

The thought had crossed my mind. ;)

What are you guys doing for best buy price match? I am assuming this is ymmv without a print ad?

PM easily at BB. I picked my pre-order from GS too for the free keychain but I'm going to return the game for the dark edition if I can find any.

Can you still get the tshirt at bestbuy without pre-ordering? Also what size is it? Maybe it'll be better to go there instead of walmart with my 10% discount.. Though it's like 25minutes away

I was able to get Best Buy to PM as well.

Took in a printed copy of the webpage with the $44.99 price that I printed out right before I left for my lunch break.

Cancelling my TRU order, the thing still hasn't even shipped yet lol

Best buy price matched Target right there at the gaming register. After $45 in reward zone certificates (LOVE my Best Buy MasterCard) I paid $5 and change.

My bb only had large size shirts. Tshirt is preorder only but you might get lucky...although sometimes bb employees are stickler with the preorder thing cause they keep the bonus items if unclaimed.

Had no problem price matching TRU at Best Buy - had the TRU webpage up on my iPhone. Was a little worried because the TRU page still says "pre-order", so I also had the Target web page ready to go just in case

I went there with the page up on my phone. She took my phone over the manager and approved it. I'd say it's YMMV since they aren't supposed to honor website prices.

I took a print-out of the Toys R' Us product page and Best Buy price matched it. But this is a YMMV.

No problem price matching the ToysRUs price at Best Buy for me and they gave me a shirt too. Probably helped that there is a TRU right next door.

Got Best Buy to price match but they wouldn't give me the shirt. The girl was like "do you want the price match or the shirt?" Oh well.

thought about going to best buy, but thats like 10 miles away. Gonna just wait for my TRU. 45 for a new release, even waiting a week is fine with me

Isn't the shirt just inside the packaging with the game? There's something else other than the game in there, I just haven't examined it enough (I'm at work) to know what it is.

Did you preorder?
Just get the shirt then turn around to the next customer service representative and PM it.

Separate package. The mini guide book and map and some other stuff is in the game package.

Damn, the game specialist who works at my local BBY is awesome. He PM'd TRU's price without question; didn't even look it up their website. I just told him, "hey, it's $44.99 at Toys R Us." All he said was, "those jerks, yeah I'll match that." And he's a gamer too so just the whole trade in process is smooth and he knows what's up with all the deals. Traded in ME3 and Driver San Francisco for $51.80 (after 60% bonus) so that paid it all up.

Also, this is one sweet package. Slip cover, fold-out map, quest book handbook, and a soundtrack in the case.
Lots of traffic going on this game. I know it's an open question... but good?
Of course its good lol
Do you guys think Target will price match this?
I never have any luck with target price matching. They almost always require a print ad and it's still YMMV

Well crap. Do I go for Witcher 2 or KOA:R? Both seem pretty similar....I have a $5 in rewards at Best Buy so I've been leaning towards KOA. I don't know when I'll be able to pick up W2 cheaper though.

they have nothing on common, believe me when i say nothing is nothing, KOA:R is more a loot base game, really long, terrible presentation, the witcher 2 is a game heavy on story, a good story to, i have both games on pc and i regret getting KOA:R, the witcher 2 on the other hand i will pay 100 for it now that i have played the game and discover how good it is

I got them to price match but I got incredibly lucky! I was on the line at the customer service and when they asked for a print ad a nice lady behind me had one on her and a few other print ads from other stores. I showed it to the clerk and got it for 44.99 which is good even though Target is selling it for 49.99. Only thing that sucks is that I won't be able to play until next week since I am currently travelin .

Well I got unlucky in this. Went there showed them the ad, ahd to wait forever while they called TRU, first they thought the enhanced version was the collectors edition which was online only, had to spend forever to explain that this was just the regular version then called back and TRU said they didnt have it in stock so was told they couldnt give me PM, such a pain in the ass.

Ugh, my Best Buy failed me today; which while rare, is still disappointing.

First, she couldn't get my $5 preorder to apply, so had to ask a manager how to work that - apparently she was doing it right but the system just wasn't taking it. Then I ask about the TRU pricematch, with a printed copy from their site in had. She takes it, and is gone for ~10 min only to come back and say that she can't do the online-only PM. I ask her to call TRU, as it is that price in store, too. Ten MORE minutes later, and she said the local TRU did not get any copies of the game in stock today. Ugh. So, I ask her to PM Target for $50, instead, which takes another 10 minutes.

FINALLY got it for $50 - $5 preorder deposit + tax = ~$48.xx ($53.xx w/deposit), and a t-shirt. So, still a decent deal; but I'm pretty irritated at the wast of 30 minutes of my time, and the fact they were sticklers over five measly dollars.

Rented this from BBV this morning and love it. Kinda hesitating picking it up though because i don't know if my Elite could handle the amount of time i will put in it. Afraid it might get RROD.

Price matched no problem! I think I was the only one who pre ordered the game at my store since the guy said they only got in one shirt. They didn't even have the game at the pre order counter. They had to et me one off the shelves. I guess the only bad part about the trip was that the game had a security spider wrap on it. Used $20 reward zone, and $20 gift card from mass effect to get one of the best ga,Ed released this year for only $5
Cancelled my preorder gonna risk pm'ing it at Best Buy
Went in to my local BB, didn't have my phone on me and just told them that TRU has it for 44.99 and they gave it to me for 44.09 :)

Got the PM with Target as the BB CS rep wanted to call TRU to verify stock & price.
I totally forgot about the T-Shirt so I went back in to grab it. Figured it would be very easy to run in and out, but I wound up in a snafu with the Gaming Supervisor & upper management.

Basically, they kept telling me that I would have to give up on the price match as it was a "package deal" with the T-Shirt. Of course the Gaming Supervisor had my back, but due to a snafu with the register, they wanted me to come back in 30 minute to a hour so I would get credit for my $5 down on the preorder. The GS wound up making the price $45 instead & got me on my way 40 minutes later. Love that POS BB computer system :O

No problems with BB price matching. Wasn't able to get a shirt, all gone by the time I got there.

Thanks to the OP, I had no clue about this sale until reading your thread. :)

Got the last copy at BB and got the shirt couldn't price match TRU because they didn't have any in stock but got the Target PM. Also picked up the last PS3 Batman AC CE for $59 they had an Xbox copy there for the same price but the box was trashed and looked like it was opened at some point.
