Zack Ryder made his WWE debut on ECW on May 1, 2007 as one half of the Major Brothers, defeating Matt Striker and Marcus Cor Von in a tag team match. Since then he has gone on to become part of the youngest tag team to ever win the WWE Tag Team Championships and was involved in the angle between Edge and Vickie, joining La Familia and helping Edge retain his World Heavyweight Championship. Ryder can now be seen competing on ECW in singles competition where he has flourished thanks to his unique look and gimmick.

That vid does make me wonder if Goldy ever got his own topic, my memory isn't serving me here. He definitely deserves one if not.
 
Anybody else think that Punk being heel-ish about being straight edge is in extremely bad taste? He's got a good message overall, but he gets increasingly harder to watch each week.
 
I would suspect most of the folks here are gushing over it.

What's more perfect for being a heel than espousing a lifestyle that often seems to correlate with a superiority complex?

I think it works.
 
Punk's sXe shtick is no different than when Kurt Angle first came onto the scene going on about being an American hero in the dickish manner possible.

I don't know why everyone has a hard on for Punk. I guess I just don't get it. I saw SD tonight and nothing he did made an impression on me.
 
I remember when Punk first came in Vince and the WWE would shit on punk because they thought he was too indy looking and worked too indy in the ring.

tickets are pretty cheap $20 for lower level, $35 for floor. I'm over in Pensacola, Florida so it's about a 2 hour drive for me. As of right now card looks pretty good, Angle vs. AJ Styles is the main event.
 
I forgot how the arena looks, but I might cough up 20 since I forgot to go to the ECW event in my own damn back yard (I was actually there....but I didn't have access to an ATM and by the time I did, it was half-way over)

And I also missed the one in New Orleans and the coast (WWE)

...So I might as well visit TNA :(

That was the main event of the house show I went to back in October, and that made it worth the price alone. Also, many wrestlers will sign or pose for pics after the show.

secondly: didnt catch all of SD this weekend but what i saw was enjoyable, you could tell that punk and mysterio were both holding out

thirdly: still hoping for christian as the partner but seeing other options now
miz - all the banter between him and jericho on twitter, seemingly good friends could try a program together
swagger - please no, but i can see it
 
Anyone think there is any chance that C.M. Punk is Jericho's mystery partner? Punk holding multiple belts would make him even more sanctimonious than ever.

i thought about that... im thinking they need someone who is already a heel since with hardy leaving there is a definite lack in face power til taker comes back. i was happy when they planted the seeds of a christian heel turn on ECW, seems like a good idea, guess we arent to far from figuring it out now
 
Punk would be stupid to defend the tag titles, though, since it would leave him tired for his world title defense.

Traci Brooks looks like she's smuggling beach balls. SoCal Val isn't that cute. I thought Christy Hemme left TNA. Guess not.

Danielson/Black III on RoH last night was incredible. Do yourself a favor and watch it. RoH easily has the best wrestling on TV right now. If you didn't see it it replays Monday at 4p and Tuesday at 4:30a. If you don't have HDNet it should be uploaded to Youtube Wednesday night.
