EDIT: Although having seen Rob Terry in the ring during Thursday's Impact, I can see why WWE let him go. Guy's a fuckin' adonis in terms of his physique, but I don't know that I've seen a more clueless wrestler in my time. Keep him in the Diesel role TNA, and don't you dare put him back in the ring.
Agreed. During his match Thursday he bodyslammed someone and then literally just stood there wondering what he was supposed to do next. His next move should have been to the barber to get that haircut fixed. Maybe he and Jesse Neal could get a twoferone. But yeah, RT is just awful.
Ricky Ortiz was never given a chance.

He's far better than his televised body of work would ever let you believe.

Don't get me wrong - he was never going to be a world champion, but if you look at the WWE roster on the whole, it's not like he was leagues worse than, say...Slam Master J, or R-Truth, or Dolph Ziggler. Having seen plenty of "Atla$ Da Bone" in OVW, he had a great look, a boatload of charisma, and as much wrestling talent as is required by WWE these days. He was never handed the metaphorical "ball" WWE likes to talk about.

Not to mention he was motioning like he injured his arm doing the chokeslam at the end of the match.
Hmm, I may have to check out this brawl. Does TNA put Impact online to watch?
They're on the XBox/Zune/PS3 Marketplaces for $2 an episode. Usually are up sometime between Friday and Saturday.

MCMG should have been playing/reading Tales of Vesperia, not Star Ocean 4. They could both play co-op on the same screen. It would even be sorta funny as if they showed them playing the beginning of the game where the choices of characters are the main hero (Yuri), his dog (Repede), and the main heroine (Estelle). It could be a skit/fight to see who has to be the hero and who has to choose between the dog/girl. :)

Did I just book Russo's next MCMG skit?
After watching Greg Valentine and Roddy Piper's chain match, "The Hammer" needs a topic. Dude was built like a house, and still put together a solid career despite being forced to dress up like Fat Elvis.
You mean there HASN'T been a Hammer topic yet? That needs to be rectified.

I've met him a few times over the years and he is hands down the most depressing person in wrestling.

Greg "The Hammer" Valentine absolutely adores the scent of cocaine.
Karen Angle on a Pole match?

It's said that Dutch Mantel had a lot to do with TNA's more corny angles.

Speaking of Greg Valentine, it was cool that a few PPVs back, at the bar I go to for watching them, Greg Valentine and Jim Neidhart were there. They had some autographed pictures they were signing for kids, but it seemed like they just happened to be there. Might have done an indy show in the area or something.

He did, more than most realize. That still won't stop the IWC from using Russo as their go-to whipping boy, though. So original.

If this past week was truly unfiltered Russo, I must say: It was pretty good.

I hope that this TNA backstage shakeup truly does happen.

One week after PWG presents Kendrick/Danielson, they're holding a Dragon Gate copromoted show.

Main eventing the show is Brian Kendrick & The Young Bucks against CIMA & Motor City Machine Guns.

Went to the TNA house show live here in Baton Rouge last night and I gotta say, if you get a chance, you should go. TNA really seems to care about the fans as some of the wrestlers came out after the show and signed autographs and posed for pictures. Their road ring is very small though, so not a lot of high flying, but it was still a good show.
I've seen The Young Bucks a couple of times on ROH, fun to watch. PWG shows sound like they're pretty good.
Saw the Young Bucks wrestle an amazing match against Steen/Genericoat an ROH house show. If these guys are the future Hardy Boyz, then the future looks damn good. Spot-on with every, and I mean EVERY spot/move, and selling like champs...these guys are one of the best teams I've ever seen.

I went to a TNA house show a couple years back (their "first ever Iowa show") It was pretty entertaining and it was cool to watch angle and Christian from like 10 feet away and drinking 1.50 beers, but they were charging for autographs (10 bucks I think) and shirts were like 25-30 bucks. Angle was incredibly nice and was working the crowd like there was thousands of people in attendance, but most of the others wrestlers didn't seem to give and shit.
