fucking Northwest fucked me over and we fucking had our fucking flight cancelled. Now we have to fucking stay in a fucking buffalo hotel room till 5:40am fucking tomorrow.

On my end, USPS has actually improved service all around and not only scans things when they are delivered, but scans them when they show up at the hub.

Everything I've been sending Priority has been showing up in two days regardless of where it's going - FL to CA in two days is awesome, especially for only $4.60.

I figured. USPS site still says they were electronically notified of the package and haven't received it yet. :roll:

The past few DC #s I've had have done that. Not given me any info until it's at my door.

It's Delivery Confimation, not tracking. As in, a confirmation of delivery, and anything else it happens to provide is just a nice bonus.

It used to let you know that the package was shipped at least.

Now, most of the time, it says I made up the number (or something to that extent) until it's at my door.

Then I guess they used to hand out a lot of bonuses, eh? I used to get notices every time it arrived at any USPS location. Now it only gives what I mentioned. Hell, it hasn't even told me the USPS has my package right now.

Ever since I've been selling on Ebay, which started in Jan 06, I've never gotten anything more than "The seller has electronically notified blah blah blah". Sometimes, like 50% of the time, it'll tell me when it's in the hub city of where it's going, but usually it'll change from the notification straight to the confirmation.

It's fairly easy to estimate how long a package will take by just typing in the zip codes on the calculate postage, so if I know a seller sent it Tues, I just throw in the zip codes to see how many days it would take so I know when it's coming.

But yea, in my case, I don't think anyone scans it again until it gets to the hub or to the person's door since it goes straight into the drop box, into the mail sorting place, into a plane, so I understand why it never gets scanned because they probably don't bother to scan the 400 pacakges in the drop box every night. I don't think it reaches an actual mail carrier until it gets to where it's going because I only use the drop box.

It's never bothered me because all I ever needed it to do was confirm delivery, and it's never failed me on 1,000 packages.

they sell them in the city next to ours, and it's illegal in my city.. but most of the people in our city on the downtown side just shoot guns up in the air in their backyard.. it's crazy.

Ok, so I'm now noticing the storm that broke my tv and dvd player last week has fucked up two of the ports of my router which is preventing me from connecting my 360 to the internetz (I'm not sure why I havent noticed that sooner). So needless to say its time for a new router ... any suggestions?

(I have a Lynksis BEFSR41 right now by the way)

Remember how I had all my windows replaced in March? Well, I got the side-sliding type, and can't find ANY vertical air conditioner units to fit them! :cry:

As anyone ever used one of those portible A/C units? I can fit the mini vents in our windows, I just wasn't sure if they were any good...
