What's the best format to keep your resume in? As in, when you send it to someone they should have no problems opening it up.

I always keep ming in MS Word format...every self respecting company has MS Office.

Microsoft Word.

I mean I guess if you want to get fancy you could print it to PDF using something like PrimoPDF (it's free) but I think it's safer to just stick with Word if you are sending it soft copy. And you can always ask what format they want/if Word is acceptable.

Also keeping it in Word lets the HR people insert a goofy middle name for you.

Just sold my first item on Half, wonder how much it'll cost me to ship out this Band of Brothers box via USPS.

$250 for an 8GB iPhone.

I think I'll wait till I have more money in the bank though(dayum that triple.) By that time I should be able to get it from Apple direct instead.
Get Open Office.
Does that take $?
If so, that is not a program for me

In WordPerfect (LOL), when I 'Save As' there's an option for MS Word. What are MS Word file names? Is it .Doc? I ask that, because when I choose that option .doc is the one that comes up.

Nope, it's free. I imagine it can open a word perfect file, but I'm not sure. It can definitely save in MS Word format.

I think Word can open Word Perfect files but you want to make it as easy as you can on the people looking over your resume.

Yeah, I was kinda pissed when I saw that steel PS3 until I remembered we never get cool shit like that over here.

Looks like my MGS trilogy isn't getting here from Amazon this week so I'll have to wait until then to start 2 and 3. I do have a copy of Twin Snakes that I never played here and a copy of the original PS1 version so I might go for those instead.

Oh, dear.
I do need to get laid, but I have some doubt I can do it. Although I may get a girl, I still need to become more familiar with sexual terms and so on (since I don't use them much). I am a tad worried I'd ejaculate all over a girl if I were to have sex with her in bed. Just thinking about a hot girl touching me, gives me some sort of feeling I shouldn't probably say. I know this because (warning, this might not be pretty)
when I hugged this one girl I kind of liked at one point, the one I started a thread over a while ago, who was probably just flirting with me and didn't really want me, that one time we hugged, I did get a boner.
What's a bon-er?

This is a video response to the OTT title:

You've never played a MGS game?
----
Ah, Mana Knight, you smell terrible.
Does the PS3 really say "Metal Gear Solid 4- Limited Edition" on it?
Yup:
mgs4ps3.jpg

Nah, I've played them all but I haven't beat them.

MGS1 I've beat and played around 20-25 times(no exaggeration.) That was basically the first game I played as a kid that showed me there was more to gaming than fucking Super Mario Bros. A lot of those playthroughs were because as a kid if I spent $50 on a game that was 2 months and a half of allowance so you had to get as much as you could from that game. Around 10 of those were Gameshark playthroughs just messing around with glitches or hacks, the rest were trying to up my rank and messing with alternate scenarios. I didn't play the GC one yet because I heard it was some $$$$$$ Keanu Reeves shit.

MGS2 I bought on Xbox on day one(I didn't have a PS2 at the time). I was disappointed by Raiden and the slowdown so I gave up on it and was waiting until I bought a PS2 and could get a hold of Substance on that but that never happened.

MGS3 I bought the fall it was released when KB Toys ran a ridiculous sale where you could get it for like $16 after pricematching it at Circuit City(It was a hot $50 title at the time.) I played it but couldn't get into it because my ideal way of playing through MGS is not getting spotted and I was having a hard time with that. After that I just waited for the LE for the new Camera but by then I had made up my mind that I had to play MGS2 before so that stalled me again. When the trilogy comes in next week I'll have 3 different versions of MGS3, actually.

After MGS3 I can finally start MGS:pO again too.
They ate the rest of the points on my account -- I think they took about another 2000 back. I had about 2260 before I left for my parents to help with my grandmother's death and now I have 260. Oh well... I still got a shit ton of content for my $$$.
2000 legit points, or 2000 shady points?

Hi OTT.

They took 4,000 of his points at first, Rocko. Then they took the other 2,000.

Which is why they were called ''shady points'' from the get go! My understanding was no refunds on points, but according to the MS dude I talked to... its just for the cards and purchasing through XBLM yourself, not ''gifting''.

Not really a good story, just some exploit with the MS gifting site and the credit cards used in it were invalid, so everyone who had not spent their points were getting them taken away.

6,000 points for $20.
Blinded By Fear is impossible.
I got like 50+%
I might get that and DOA. Blinded By Fear doesn't look too hard. Thrasher, on the other hand, looks impossible.

Talking about guitar, that is.

 I'd pay to hear people sing that bullshit. Metal vocals are incredibly lame.

The lyrics are so money, too. (click spoiler)

'We are blind to the
World within us,
Waiting to be born'

I cast aside my chains
Fall from reality
Purgatory unleashed
Now burn the face of the earth
Purgatory unleashed
Now burn the face of the earth

[Chorus:]
The face of all your fears
All your fears unleashed
The face of all your fears

Born of the demon sky
Twisting reality
Sweet nauseating pain
Is death the only release?
Nauseating pain
Is death the only release?

[Chorus:]

The face of all your fears

I cast aside my chains
Fall from reality
Suicidal disease
The face of all your fears
Now covered with sores
Humanity exiled
Purgatory unleashed
Now burn the face of the earth
Purgatory unleashed
Now burn the face of the earth

Ugh, that Mana quote is too long for the 500 character sig limit.
Life is so unfair sometimes, Jimbo. :(
Huh?
So what do you think of the Splinter Cell series jimbo.
I've played every single one but I think it's mostly Western garbage.

The original had amazing graphics at the time so I gave it a pass for that.

Second one had lame SP but interesting MP.

Chaos Theory refined both and the separate coop missions were really cool.

Double Agent I thought looked great at the time. The good/bad "choices" were bullshit that didn't even effect the game and the gameplay was nothing new. I did think they did some interesting and brave(?) things with the level set in Africa.

Basically, it might have MGS beat in mechanics but it'd be a joke to compare them in terms of atmosphere and story. Not even close.

I never got into MGS...I was going to start once I got a PS2 but never did because since the stories are connected, I didn't want to start somewhere in the middle, after all I was told by a friend that the story is confusing as fuck so I never played any of them. I'm not really sure if I'm missing anything...I most likely won't play MGS4 either.

Are the two that aren't Thrasher manageable on the guitar?

Keep in mind I can't beat Green Grass on Expert... so that's my skill level.

Interesting. The first one was one of the first games I played when I bought my Xbox (this was after a fairly long hiatus from gaming) and it blew me away.

I still need to get the one for the 360.

If you want a challenge play the original w/o zooming the gun. I didn't know you could do that until fairly late in the game when I was so frustrated in some part I actually RTFM and noticed that.

You'll like it if you liked the first, Wubb. It should be really cheap by now too. I think there's a good 500+ points if you play the single player game right and it's not that hard to do.

I haven't tried 'em on guitar, Rocko.
I haven't tried most of my DLC on guitar, actually. I should do that.
I'd say Exile is pretty hard on guitar, DOA has a pretty mean solo, not sure about Blinded by fear.

From the looks of the you tube videos, they didn't include triplets. For the :baby:'s.

MGS4.

Can't wait.

I'd buy the trilogy now but I'd rather get some games I haven't beat already.

I bought that TV stand. Now I feel a little guilty.
Oh well, I needed it.

Thrasher looks hard as fuck.

I love the song from the credits of the Battle Royale movie.

That book kicked ass. And by extension so did the movie.

Man I have an interview with Fox Sport Net as a camera man and editor coming up in a few days.

Damn, I really hope I get this job. I am very confident that I will as I have never not got a job I interviewed for. Its the calm before the storm I hate.

I got my current job after interviewing in jeans and a monkey t-shirt. Man the look on the peoples waiting faces were priceless when my boss shook my hand and told me to come to the production house the next week.
